  • Take a relaxing walk with me in Cotswold England from the town of Cirencester to Painswick. In this enjoyable walk we come across the abandoned Thames and Severn canal system. We visit the abandoned Sapperton canal tunnel, which was once the longest canal tunnel in England. We also discover why the Thames and Severn canal was abandoned and walk several miles along the side of the canal. Another great highlight of this walk is coming across a nice set of abandoned canal locks.
First though we start the walk in Cirencester park at Cecily Hill. We then walk straight as an arrow for about four and a half miles through the Bathurst Estate. We then follow the Thames and Severn canal for several miles before we strike out cross country to Painswick.
This video is set to relaxing music so that you can enjoy the peaceful walk through the English countryside.
