Bought this same exact shotgun 5 years ago from Cabalas. This is my go to grouse gun in northern Wisconsin. When you’re busting brush and in some really thick stuff where you should be, this gun has it where it counts. Short barrels and easy to get mounted for the shot. Got plenty of grouse and woodcock with this shotgun. Damn good brush gun in my opinion. Weird that the top barrel was off that much, I have the bone stock choke tubes and I’m able to dust clays with both barrels, usually at 40 yards out.
I had the same problem on my Condor Comp. but found out that it was mostly my factory choke tubes giving me my problem. I used two modified chokes at 25 yards. The bottom barrel was where I was aiming. The top barrel was high and a bit to the right. I tried a followup test by switching the chokes from one barrel to the other barrel. Surprisingly, the top barrel was a bit high but where I was aiming and the bottom was slightly to the right. I was using factory chokes. I switched to Carlsons chokes and it patterned a lot better. Just my experience.
Just found your channel and I subscribed. Nice looking shotgun for sure. Great video. Stay safe and would love to see more budget price firearms reviews. God Bless from Oklahoma.
I didn't because the patterns it threw were fine, just not in the right spot. If the choke threads were cut that far off, it would show in a weird/erratic pattern. I think if people were to sit down and pattern their cheaper multi-barrel guns they would be often disappointed.
Hello wondering if they made a heavier version of this shotgun within the last few years? Reading the specs from other youtubers (6-8 years ago) they all said this weighs 5.5 lbs compared to yours 6.9 lbs?
I have a 20 Outback and it's a great little gun, however you need to remodel the stock at the grip as it's really poorly designed. I can hit clays at just about any range. Mine does not require recoil to shoot the second barrel. It's basically like a Chevy; ugly but it will never breakdown.
@@RegularGuysOutdoors Not sure if its based on the supreme bu not selectable barrels. As far as the POA POI I usuallly shoot just a bit lower that my regular 12 ga.

My guess would be that out of 10 guns, one or two have perfect barrel alignment, one or two are pretty bad, and the rest are acceptable.

@@echampine That’s very interesting, poor tolerances in the factory choke tubes?

Man that's some nice weather for January in Colorado haha
Really mild winter this year.🤷♂️
Did you tried to change between the chokes, and see if there's any difference?

I have a turkish O/U shotgun that weighs about 5.5lbs, it has an aluminum receiver, this Stoeger has a steel receiver.
@@RegularGuysOutdoors Thank you friend that sounds right.
Why have a double barrel if you can’t select which choke you want to use because that turkey could be 10 yards are 40 yards 🤷🏼♂️
Yep, I think most every other O/U lets you choose.
I have a Stoeger Doubie Defense 20 GA 20 inch barrel fixs chokes the kids love and so do i . i use it for home defense to.
Are the barrels on yours regulated to each other?

It must based on the Condor Supreme…selectable barrels? Hows the poa vs poi for each barrel?

That would not be my gun of choice. A good one for GB. Sorry it does not seem to be working out.
She's already gone.
