That's an old Imperial Oil sign. Great piece of history. They normally would say "products" or "dealer" below the imperial on the front. They were used to either designate a licensed seller of imperial oil products or a piece of machinery using said products. Fun fact, they were acquired by Standard Oil in the 1890s, JD Rockefeller's burgeoning petroleum monopoly. They retained the Imperial Oil labelling throughout Canada though. They still operate oil sands in northern Alberta today.
That seems a little early. That sign was in a condition that would indicate a much more recent abondonment. I'm thinking it was from Imperial Metals. They're a mining and metals company in British Columbia.

Some of those bottles could be worth some money to collectors. A shame humans have always just thrown their garbage into the wilderness and abandoned a lot of machinery to slowly rust away. It might be fun to explore but honestly they should have cleaned up where they lived and worked instead of making it an eyesore.
I love the place that you show because there is always rivers, lakes or the sea. I love the water. Thank you for sharing and God bless you on your adventures. Take care.

Nothing compares to the beauty of all around you when you are in the north, the mountains, the rivers and lakes, the trees. I am so hooked on the north drug already. Oh! what a mean tease- all that crab! Loved your adventure to the lost town. Your excitement is infectious! Looking forward to the rest of your adventures North. It certainly is beautiful up there- thanks for sharing!
Just as you started mentions not having a gun I started to type this. Ive been on that very beach, and I've seen multiple bears there many times as i traveled passed there. I believe it was an old sawmill sight. If my memory is correct it was called Erindale(not sure of spelling) I worked on tug boats towing logs from Greenville down to Echo cove in Iceberg bay, then to Prince Rupert. Beautiful place up there, always love going up there. I also met you last year while you were visiting rupert, I was the one who stopped in offered you some fish but your freezer wasnt running yet, so you settled for a pack of candied salmon. Love the content
Medalta was a porcelain/pottery maker out of Medicine Hat AB. They still have a museum at the site. Medalta crocks are pretty highly desired by antique collectors.

Dude. I just discovered your channel. I bought a vintage GMC Motorhome 2.5 years ago. I've been watching van and RV channels ever since. Finding US or global content is easy. Finding quality Canadian content is not so easy. If all your videos are like this one - fantastic! Liked, subscribed, and notified! Looking fwd to watching your northern adventure. I'm from Ontario and camped every year growing up in the last Carolinian forest in North America. So much US content is dessert and I find it hard to enjoy. The first 60 seconds of this vid I was like "YES! THIS is what I'm looking for!" Fantastic content, you're good on camera, and your editing and music is fantastic. As a musician I appreciate you listing the music you use. Thank you so, so, much. I've yet to be a patreon for any channel, but I may just consider it if the rest of your content is like this. Thanks for this, and congrats on creating quality content.

Do you ever take your family along on your trips to enjoy the scenery and experiencing North America with you? That mega-travel home you have would surely comfortably fit them. Just wondering...
I’ll have to do a MoHo tour again soon. This rig has been fully customizable for me, so there’s actually no other beds. Lol. My parents work, and my nieces are in school. Unfortunately not much time to explore. I’d love to have them along though.
It’s a sharp contrast to the crabbing attempts in Oregon. It has a little to do with the time of year, but the ocean is a lot healthier and more plentiful in the north for sure.
I went out West 8 years ago solo on my old Ninja when I was 20 from Ontario.. Went through many towns and cities. Met hundreds of people and saw extremely beautiful things. the Rocky Mountains, Canyons, Glaciers, avalanches, the Northern Lights, the Prairies, Pacific Ocean. It's always cool when I can tell people I went to Williams Lake before. I got stranded in Dease Lake, BC for 9 days when I had some mechanical failures. It was a gorgeous lake to be stuck at for over a week. My favorite stretch of road will always be Roger's Pass.

Your home town is just beautiful. I enjoyed your Mexican adventure, so different. But am so excited that you are back in the north. Nothing compares to the beauty of all around you when you are in the north, the mountains, the rivers and lakes, the trees. I am so hooked on the north drug already. Looking forward to the continued adventure.
Heck of a drug. lol
What amazes me is how many trucks and heavy equipment that's just abandoned everywhere!
I watch abandoned mines sometimes and the equipment just left is worth millions!!!
Oh! what a mean tease- all that crab!
I love finding Canadian things.
another great one! can't wait for the next one
Beautiful landscape and just wanted to say I love your content. Also your humor is phenomenal!
Awesome video. Nice 👍
Mate, woke up early and noted some notifications on my iPad. Was so happy to see one of yours. Have missed them. Stunning scenery and story…the music is always spot on. The Chief, Lava flow and Drowned Forest were wonderful.
Thank you for sharing this my friend. Really need this right now.
Keep it up and thank you for sharing this beautiful land with us all is such a well crafted way. You have skills, man.
Rob, Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺
Cheers Rob. 🍻
what a beautiful place. so calm and quiet
Hehe! Turns out you had plenty of time for the explore today then matey....what a haul of Dungies! if they get any bigger, you're going to need a new pot eh?!
That is absolutely fantastic scenery too - wow, please show us more :0)
Im from british columbia too. Theres so much of bc i never explored. Thank you for taking us on your adventure.
Great video Dustin. Your editing and blending in the tunes finishes off the videos nicely. Safe Journeys.
no worries about making us jealous, crab is not even real food. Enjoyed the adventure, look forward to the next one.
Thanks for this, and congrats on creating quality content.
how exciting a dump site! Homestead, and maybe the pooper! Love the sign.
Dustin thanks so much for sharing this journey! One of these days I'd love to travel to British Columbia and experience it for myself👍👍
Delicious crab! Thanks for another amazing video….. come to Maine!!!!
Just want to say thank you for the great videos, I live in Smithers B.C. And this one was really cool, I enjoyed seeing your take on some of the places I’ve been to.
Again thank you
I lived in quesnel the last three years :) I loved Alaska but northern bc and the Yukon has stolen my heart. It’s so rugged vast and open. Doing the dumpster highway to tuktayuktuk for the summer solstice this year was amazing
Glad you're back in BC. What a wonderful start to your next adventure!
Great to see you back in the north!! Dont forget about fsj on the way back!! Stop and have a sneaky wiesel with us!
Absolutely amazing!! Loved the many drone shots! Loved that you got such a great crab feast! Loved the discovery of all those old artifacts! Loved the music! Loved your enthusiasm! Safe travels, and keep on enjoying life to the fullest! Love you!
Sometimes I read the comment before reading the name, and I was like “wow this person is so nice”. Thanks mom :) feels great to get to eat myself sick on crab again. Hahaha
@@Destination_Adventure “sometimes I …..Thanks Mom 😂”
Very excited for this newest adventure😻🥰
Heck yeah man! Crazy how nature just takes everything back! Keep up the great work love your videos!
I am from Washington State and a similar climate on the coast. Nature in this area will reclaim very quickly, similar to a jungle environment.
I am obsessed with this kind of exploration. It's almost a battle against time...finding relics before nature can reclaim them into obscurity.
Respect and admiration from the Philippines!
Lemme encourage everyone to please not skip ads for this channel.
When your videos drop it goes right to the top of my watch list. How about an update on what you did to get the camper ready
Seeing that crab pot full of crabs just goes to show you how badly we have treated the rest of the oceans. Excellent video as always Dustin.
