I think the reason you heard Wardens in your hyperbox is because your hyperbox allows you to hear sounds from outside the box (such as your warden soul farm), but because it's a separate dimension the Extreme Sound Muffler doesn't think you're close to the farm, and doesn't apply your anchor muffling rules.
@hanifarroisimukhlis5989 it's not silly at all. It's very helpful if you're interacting with a farm that is outside of the box ... you can still muffle the sound if you don't want to hear it just like Dire did here.
14:04 I love it. Because you placed/made the space next to your warden farm. No matter where you move the box, the origin point will remain where you first place/made this zone.
That should not be true. When you are in the box you are in another DIM. It would be like saying you'll hear your cows in the nether if your farm is too near the portal. More likely Commoble has allowed the deep dark to generate in the DIM.
I like multiblocks, but we definitely went through a phase where they were being overused. That said, a multiblock that consumes paradox remnants to generate mass amounts of energy would be neat
I personally looooove multiblocks. They are always my favorite machines. AE2 controllers, immersive engineering, modern industrialization are all great examples. In M.I some of the multiblocks have different tiers based on which blocks are used gor the middle layer
I like multiblocks, but I prefer ones that are like Immersive Engineering's where it's not just 'this block is made of blocks to make a bigger block' If it doesn't look cooler than just slapping down a single magic block, there's no point in it.
I like the Powah Multiblock for example , since it is nice to assemble, or the Draconic way to assemble the multiblock energy storage. But when setting up for example the Mekanism Multiblocksetups for antimatter/fusionenergy/reactor for the 50th time i am at a point where i really dont want to be bothered with it anymore. Its jsut tiring and tideous
Just summon them in a creative superflat world, Copy them into a template/schematic and paste it Edit: break and replace a block to update the structures when you paste them, i forgot to specify it
@@ALE220fficial well i also play on servers which don't have this option, and at this point im even tired of even bothering with it in any way. Powah method is set and forget. And draconic evolution has the possibility to let you decide. Thats convenient
@dholihumbug4517 and that is true, but Building Gadgets Templates or Schematicannon blueprints are clien-side. Edit: i mean, i think it's worth bothering for the massive upgrades, and also Mekanism structures are a bit lesa laggy
Not sure if it's still the case in Extreme, but Welsknight did an experiment with big reactors and a plus layout for the fuel rods works better than the x layout.
extreme is alot different nowadays, after playing with it I honestly recommend starting with a sizeable advanced reactor that is ONLY fuel rods. It generates a decent amount of power and you need to have oodles of cyanite to go through the fuel reprocessing chain to make better fuels and blocks for turbine coils. Once you have good turbine coils then I think it's worth to make a efficiently cooled reactor to generate steam. Turbines in extreme also sip steam so you can run a dozen or so off a good reactor. Mekanism reactors are way less hassle for 10-100x the power and less lag.
Imo, multiblocks are cool as long as 1.) They look cool; 2.) They aren't annoying to build; 3.) They're variable in sizes up to an enormous maximum for late game min-maxing. I think the best multiblock in the game is extreme reactors, because it ticks all the boxes, though Advanced Generators Generator is a close second.
i would say depends on the multiblock what it does. Also you could always make your fluid generator combine with more of the same like a module fluid generator or put your fluid generator in a 3 by 3, 5 by 5, 10 by 10 to a max 16 by 16 the 16 by 16 gives more power but use more fuel like 500mb a tick
For exporting excess charcoal, there’s also the ME Threshold Exporter from extended ae. It’s essentially a shorthand for exactly what you did by controlling the export bus with the level emitter
RE multiblocks: they're a cool concept but they need thought to go into the layout. The best implementation I've seen of that is in Nuclearcraft. Mekanism is ok, but it's very limited, there's not much variation other than size.
Does anyone know if the [G] for more info thing is a separate mod and what the name is? And how to activate it. It isn't there for me and without a manual it is only possible to build these multiblocks by following Dires build.
@@ockerspock3432 The [G] is specifically for AE2 and it's add-ons. You'd have to find the manual for the mod you want, obtain it, and use it for instructions.
@@pocketsizedweeb OK Do you have answers to the questions I actually asked? BTW if you are saying it is only for AE2, ExtentedAE and AdvancedAE that's great.... the option IS NOT THERE FOR ME. So I repeat ...Is it a separate mode? How is it activated (assuming it is somehow deactivated as I don't see it.....even for the mods you say it is "specifically for")
I think multiblocks are neat but think that there needs to be a reason for it not to be one block. Immersive engineering has the whole big machines vibe, others have different capabilities based on their size (big reactors, mekanism reactors etc.) or are modular by design (id include create in this but only barely) If i was you, i would try really hard to try and fit a concept into one block and only use a multiblock if you can't. Immersive engineering is the only mod ive seen that gets away with single use multiblocks through vibes alone. Tbh i havent seen a lot of properly modular multiblocks and think that could be a good route to go. Like using a handful of different blocks to make a variety of different multiblocks that interact with eachother in unique ways
I rather like multiblocks as the mid- to end-game version of a mod. So like Basic DireMachine, Advanced DireMachine, then Muiltiblock DireMachine sounds like it could be cool, if there were a legitimate need for a 3rd tier. Or even a 4th tier beyond what you have now.
Multiblocks are great for things that should be big. A single block nuclear reactor would seem off. Not sure anything you currently have would be better as a multiblock.
If Dire added quests to this modpack it would easily be the best 1.21 tech mod. Centering the pack around just dire things has made minecraft really fun again
I'm not sure multiblocks are the answer but I think JDT needs more in-world interactive things. IMO it's too much UI config, it would be neat to be able to do more things without interacting with a UI (setting up a machine's AOE for instance)
I both love and hate multiblocks. its an odd sensation. I like when they all have some form of connected texture or are modular but when it's set up in a way that's a "you have to build it this way every time and is less efficient than something similar to it" it feels a little bad. I'd say overall though, I like multiblocks and agree with some people i saw of them being a bit overused for a while in modded minecraft.
For me multiblocks are hit and miss. If a multiblock is a thing for customization of the machine, then I like it, but if it feels like the machine is a multiblock just because multiblocks are cool, then I don't like them. Extreme reactors is fine, but Immersive Engineering is not to me.

this, i kept hearing a horse in mine, turns out there was a horse on the outside of the wall by my hyperbox
+1 - I kept hearing a wandering trader in mine the other day
That's very silly of hyperbox. They should've just not repeat sound to outside of the box. What's next, sound also coming into box dimension?
@@hanifarroisimukhlis5989 It is neat, but doesn't really add anything to the mod. If there's a config option for it, then good on them.

multiblocks with them connected textures is *chef's kiss*
I think the way Immersive Engineering handles multi-blocks is perfect and that more mods should take notes.

I had the same idea, it should be named "Paradoxica" as a Doctor Who reference

Same, I play with immersive engineering a lot for this exact reason
For your coal problems, you could use a wither skeleton data model, it generates a good amount
Multi block refinery for the advanced dire fuels would be cool.
Oooh. Nice. Could have a slot to hold the goo, inputs for goo fuel. Hmmmm.
I like multiblocks, but I prefer ones that are like Immersive Engineering's where it's not just 'this block is made of blocks to make a bigger block' If it doesn't look cooler than just slapping down a single magic block, there's no point in it.
The only thing I like about multiblocks are their sense of scale to certain machinery and devices.
Maybe the warden sound comes from your overworld base(?). Idk why though

How about a multiblock advanced fuelgeneratorbwich burns as much direfuel a provide. As a mid to end tier power production
I don’t mind multiblocks as long as they’re relatively easy to build
Just a little tip: you can use simple formula for AE2 crafting request. For example, type 3*5 and it'll craft 15 items.
