The best part to me is that the bundled cables actually work with Computercraft. Makes time crystal automation easier since I have more signals to use instead of 1 per side.
I love seeing the automation of the time crystals. Utilizing the sensors and the redstone to teleport blocks to other dimensions under certain conditions is awesome!
6:40, you can craft jumbo furnaces (put in 27 furnaces to be smelted by it) using the 27x block multi structure. you just slot them into the slot you thought was the fuel slot. upgrading this furnace requires jumbo furnaces to be inserted into it's ui, where each one in the stack will add additional simultaneous smelting recipes to be executed at once. effectively this thing becomes a beast and scales quite smoothly (good progression). it also gives a great use for cobblestone. different topic but the red mod recipes have been altered or there might be integration that sets the usable recipe to be jumbo furnace if it's included.
Dire that empty slot in the jumbo furnace in the bottom right is it takes I think furnaces of some kind and each one that you put in makes it smelt another item in one operation
Dire, here's an idea to add to your Mining Gadget mod: A turret we can put our mining laser on that powers the laser and uses it mine out all blocks within range. It puts the results of mining into a chest beside the turret.
Could you include the breaker in the section that teleports? The drops teleporter works cross dimensionally so if you stuck the breaker in the swapping field it should work.
you can add up to a i think its a stack of more jumbo furnaces to the slot in the bottom right to make it do up to 64 operations simultaneously. which is FASTER than your current furnace!
I thought red power fixed that crash bug already.. it ticks more then tps causing a crash it’s the red wire with the red stone ticking block. People used to connect them to pistons with observers and more of those red stone ticking blocks and rip server. That’s a 1.2.5 bug they had
would it be too OP to have the paradox machine be able to use templates to swap what is being generated? They would need to be created in world (not importable like BG templates) and location specific but a chest beside the machine with 6 or 7 ore options .... potentially automatable, maybe even on demand AE crafting
I think the bigger fear here is that if you automate the paradox machine, don't pay attention and the paradox forms while you're afk or busy doing other things, you could come back to... let's say... problems.
Not efficient. Your method would drastically reduce crystal production. Dires method stage 3 blocks grow crystals wherever they are, your idea means that growth ONLY happens in the end.... with 5 blocks not growing while waiting for the last to revert to 0 state. Save 3 sensors to get about 10% of the production.... not logical.
If you add a second set of budding time crustal blocks to the empty area that's getting swapped with the ones already there, you would always have a set of them being harvested in the end without any extra swappers or sensors, right?
You should be able to use one sensor in each area if you have it exactly equal to the total of budding time crystals at the stage you want to move so it would wait for all of them to be ready before moving them.
The issue then is if one breaks in the nether, then the sensor will never get said exact number. Though that could be fixed by making the sensor sense either the right stage or stage 0.
I would increase the amount of "dead" blocks before it teleports from The End to save on time fluid. It seems like a waste to teleport everything when one only one crystal dies.
I think so too.. It seems like it would be better to let the all blocks (or 90% of them) become exhausted first before teleporting them because you are teleporting them all either way, the way he set it up feels more like time consuming instead because it will be pretty much constantly teleporting because one crystal happened to exhaust itself. Teleporting on one crystal being exhausted would make more sense if he was teleporting only that one block, but his teleporting ALL the blocks.
The other blocks keep growing crystals while they are going from dimension to dimension. The dead blocks stop their crystal growth, so it's best to get them up and running as quickly as possible for max output.
If you really wanted to improve efficiency you would include the Time Crystal Area Block Breaker in the swaps. It already has drops teleporter and is bound to the Ender Drawer there shouldn’t be any major problems with this simple “fix”. The Time Crystals can grow in other dimensions so it would be better if it could break them in other dimensions as well.
@kamodius i thought I saw something saying it was partially done, so I thought I'd ask. That and for the sake of safety I'd like to know the max size of the Paradox, and if there are any blocks it can't eat (besides bedrock).
@@redtailhawk5129 I don't remember the exact number, but it's big enough that it'll probably eat your automation if you're not around to throw a time crystal at it. I haven't spawned one since full release.
Could you not do this so it moves it when it's all dead? Blacklist the good crystals so when it no longer senses them, it does the thing. Same with in the overworld/nether, when it no longer senses the previous stage (meaning they've all upgraded) it does the thing. You'd just have to also blacklist the orange in the end so that if it doesn't detect either, it does the thing.
Once they're upgraded in the end they'll grow in any dimension. If one has bad rng and downgrades instantly then that one has to wait until the last one downgrades which could take multiple minutes, So teleporting them around when atleast one goes out is still the most efficient setup. granted he should probably also have breakers setup at each station as well or just one in the swap area assuming that interaction works so any growth isn't wasted. Im sure you could do extensive testing on this if the swapping somehow screws with the random tick RNG for each block.
I used to love redpower to heck and beyond. Nice to see it being continued.

Could you use the industrial foregoing souls addon thing to speed up the eclipse dire goo?
Dire, the ranges on the sensors in the Nether are 1 off, because you moved them, when the red wire was intersecting.

Specifically it's more Jumbo Furnace. Which you get as an item from smelting 27 Furnace inside the Jumbo Furnace.

You can link ender drawer to the storage controller by just shifting righting clicking , instead of just clicking
I hope nothing is wrong
I get worried about you man when the video is late
You don't need a second sensor in the overworld and the nether. Just check if the previous tier is equal to zero.
It would (possibly) trigger a false positive when the blocks have just been swapped
Could you include the breaker in the section that teleports? The drops teleporter works cross dimensionally so if you stuck the breaker in the swapping field it should work.
I love the Microsoft teams interruptions constantly lol. Meeting started, new message, getting a call hah

This isn't RedPower, this is More Red
I don't thing you need an AND gate in the overworld and nether. You just need to be sure that there are no lower stage budding blocks.

@@kamodius fairly sure the next episode will show how to automate dealing with the paradox side effects.
Why not just equal to 6 of the stage you want? Then you only need one sensor

Will AE2's growth accelerators work on the time crystals?
In theory yes, but I haven't tested this, believe it or not :)

Please add bumblezone and immersive engineering to this modpack!
Dire hates field of view changes so of course he used a super deep fov change as punishment for carrying time crystals
I was getting scared 😅
Dire, you should do a satisfactory series?
Dire, do you know if Refined Storage will make it into the pack? I really dislike AE and I'm killing my TPS with all the drawers and LaserIO nodes...
Last I checked, RS hadn't yet updated to 1.21.x at all. I'm sure they'll include it if/when it does, probably along with Thermal.

@TheQuinn50 I'm more thinking of needing less sensors for material efficiency
@@thebardofblarney I think the overall efficiency of crystal growth outpaces the one-time cost of building the sensors.
Has red alloy wire, still uses the redstone quill to do effectively the same thing

makes sence because the pov change is a punishment for not wearing protection
