DMD2 is the perfect biker-App. I had to change from Apple to Android and I‘m still happy to have done it- many thanks for your great work within DMD2 I love it more and more.
Well this is brilliant, I have only started digging into the app and bike is currently waiting on suspension. Cannot wait to get out and ride. The distance to fuel(and other POI) along route is one of the features I have been wishing for a long time. Thank you!!!!
Having changed from OSMand to DMD2 I love the App on a Samsung A55. Only thing is the menu items could be resizable/resized for the smaller smartphone screen and horizontal orientation. Otherwise really happy with it so far. Great job guys.
At 15:20 is that the normal view while riding? Or can I adjust it? To much buttons and buttons and information not needed, I need the map and if I need further information I will choose it. You have at top and bottom and right all these fields and buttons. You use google maps so do it like google maps, clean. Just my2cent
Any chance Oklahoma will be available in the maps soon? I purchased this product and think it’s great but there’s no map for my home state. Which forces me to use Gaia.
Lost me the first minute. I have an ajp Pr7 . It came with a Samsung tablet with the dmd2 and mine looks nothing like yours nor does it give me the options your showing. I have different icons in the upper left of the screen as well. It says it’s version 3.00020
João, about that function you start explaining at 11:15… I cannot seem to enable it. I do all the steps you do but instead I get a green box with the next turn. What am I doing wrong?
Hello there, I see on the top it says online. Does this mean it needs to be connected to work? Do I need to pay for a subscription on top of buying the device? Can I connect it to my iPhone for internet? Thank you.
Right not sure if it because i have the free version or not. But my screen and menu options are not the same as this. Do i have a newer version of the app than the one being used in the video? Any advice welcome
HI. Im really impressed with DMD2 - and Ive been a Garmin user for a lot of years. Can I please ask - how did you manage to map ALL the off-road sections, and more so, how did you manage to grade all these many, many off road sections with the colour coding you are using. Are you super confident it is accurate - if it is, it will be fantastic 😊 Thanks, Steve A

It used data from OSM project and we will soon expand to add user content too.
my initial experience the first day with dmd2, the 'easy offroad' was simply not doable on motorbike... it was a steep walking path with sharp voids just doable on foot. So same question, how does dmd2 choose offroad sections??
I'm confused, I'm using DM2 on a Carpe and it's all up to date but your view is very different than mine. Not sure what I'm missing here? is this a Beta version you are showing?
I have a new CI just received three days ago with the latest DMD2 but it is not matching your software. Does the CI use a proprietary version? Are you using a different version?
hi, i am using the Carpe-Iter with DMD2 but most of the things you explain in this video are not present in my version. For example the waypoints sizing and detialted GPX settings.....where do i find this stuff ?
Hi- what UI is this, I have the latest version - all plugin purchased. My device is a Samsung Gal-Tab-Active 3, but my UI looks very different from what you show here.
Hi, I downloaded this app and i don't knom why i can't have the same présentation like your video ? I d'ont have the possibility to change the configuration of maps. Thnak you
Great app, but I would have loved to have a split screen with speed and clock on one and map on the other. Nothing else. Then everything would be bigger. It's starting to get small
Obrigado pelo video João. Estou a tentar subscrever com PayPal e não estou a conseguir. Não haverá outra forma de pagamento seguro sem estar a lançar códigos de cartão no internet ? Grato
Hello. I am thinking of buying a DMD-T865x android tablet Does anyone have information on how I can connect to the DMD and the phone. If I have my phone in my jacket pocket, how can I see who is calling me and how can I answer the call? But, from all the information I got so far, this is not possible because DMD works the same way as any other android device. It's like having 2 phones and no Android Auto option If anyone has any info on how to connect this..... I know that the tablet has a place to insert a SIM card - I don't have two SIM cards. Given that the tablet has an Android system, I don't know why it doesn't have Android Auto. If the matter can somehow be connected, I'm definitely a buyer
DMD2 software CAN NOT USE SD memory card to store maps on ANY device!!😢😮 My 1 MAJOR reason I will NOT renew my license! I run DMD2 software on a Samsung active tab3. I contacted DMD; their answer; "yes, it's Google's fault".
Google enforced scooped storage on apps. Scooped storage for map files is a mess, cant use it. We would require all access permission which google does not provide to us.
@@THORKRACING OsmAnd does not seem to have any problems storing map data on SD card... Most devices have limited memory so SD card memory is the ONLY option if I want to use different maps because I am traversing many countries on my travels...
@@PeterR0035 Your OsmAnd experience is more positive than mine; could you let me know how you set this up so it worked reliably? I had the paid OsmAnd+, and while I could save the maps to SD card, I'd often have to reset the storage location to external so OsmAnd could find them, and sometimes it couldn't find them even then... sometimes rebooting or reinserting the SD card was sufficient, sometimes I had to re-download the maps. I eventually switched to downloading only the maps I needed to the phone's internal storage, and OsmAnd was able to consistently find them.
The app is very good in terms of functionality. Maybe graphics could be better. Biggest downside for me is it doesn’t support iOS . I don’t give up m iPhone for this app. Would be nice to have a iOS Version. Ir shouldn’t been a problem,or? If u ignore iOS users u waste a lot of potential. And I’ll not buy a second phone only for this app. This can’t be the solution.

Fantastic guides. Thank you for doing this. The best nav app for off road by far. Great job. Cheers 👍🏻. Jim UK
Thanks Joao, this is what I’ve been waiting for. Very useful video full of great information. 👍
Thanks having taken time to make this very clear and helpful explanation, and great job on the app 👏

Thanks Joao, also learned a couple of things about your great app
Does DMD2 have voice prompts (turn by turn) for GPS Navigation via Cardo/ Sena?
Thank you Joao, brilliant information! 👍
Does DMD2 Nav do voice prompts for turn-by-turn when riding on the motorcycle with a Sena or Cardo?
Fantastic features and well explained 👍😊
Very, very interesting tutorial. Thanks
3:28 Why do yours looks so different from what I got from the App store? Is it a new version?
That Map Layer choices are very nice to have.
You need to move to the Beta version: ruclips.net/video/bJglvH23oGI/видео.html

Thank you for the presentaion of you setup - very helpful
Brilliant ❤
I can’t use de map section because it said I need to buy the plugin even though on your website says that this part is free
This may seem like a stupid question, but after loading the GPX file, how do you tell DMD2 that you want to start following the route? Thx
I have the same question
Wow 9 months and no answer... 😂😂

I tried navigating with DMD2 on my phone but I don't get the option to navigate with DMD2, only an external app. Is this disabled on a phone?

Can you navigate by address or post code ??
SOrry - I also meant to ask; I couldnt see data fields time / diastance to next waypoint, and to destination. Are they available in the DMD software?
Those show up once you are on top of any GPX Line.
Can you add these data fields to the trip data screen? @
Which OBD2 device would you recommend for BMW R GS1250 Adv.?
The OBDLink LX is probably the best option. It works well on my F800GS with the MotoScan Android app as well as DMD2.

At the moment we are using something we are developing and is still in Beta testing.
