Great review! Thank you for acting on my feedback and showing how it connects to the Hagrid hut. I imagine you can easily bend the forest to have trees behind the hut like they're supposed to. Definitely getting a bunch of these. I think it should be possible to have both green attachments to the other side of the hut by getting a bunch of Draco polybags for spare connectors. Beyond the trees I'm gonna have those water tiles connected to create a large lake for the thestrals, and beyond that another set of trees but with spider webs, to be connected to the future Aragog set. Also 76400 looks a good match for this, giving all those baby thestrals a mom and adding another green attachment in front of Hagrid's hut for a smoother transition to the actual forest.
Nah, no big deal. That said I believe it's a good habit to check for designer notes, because they can contain insights that are not immediately apparent to most reviewers. For example, Atticus points out the big deal about new Ford Anglia is the ability to place two minifigs inside. And I wouldn't be surprised if the Owlery has a spot to actually connect to the rest of the castle either.
I was hoping for a lil more forest and less buckbeak, Ron, and Hermoine. Guess I'll be bricklinking to fill the forest out some more for a better Hagrid's Hut display.
Noticed that the terrain piece from the new Aragog set is connected to this set. Considering how good Aragog turned out, it would be logical to buy this set just to add the forest around the acromantula, but the price makes me wonder.
Two things... A set like this needs less buckbeak and humans and more foliage to make it massable...to make a forest. And this entire new HP wave over the next few years would be a perfect Hogwarts Legacy opportunity. Even just one game character minifigure in each set, similar to how Star Wars occasionally releases unique characters with their sets (malak and fives for example).
Prices in the description are wrong. If those were real, I’m sure this set would be in demand. At $30USD though, I don’t see this being particularly popular.
I don't understand why we need ANOTHER Hagrid's Hut already. The last one was excellent. And this forest set is one of the worst HP sets since the reboot.
Because Hagrids Hut is iconic, a staple. The other one has been retired for at least a year now. And this is from a different movie with a different design
Nah, it’s for the best that this set only features existing creatures and I’m glad they didn’t do anything more than a new pixie print to try and get people who already have these creatures to buy this. It’s a set made to keep these creatures in production for a little while longer and give people who missed out on previous sets a last chance to get them.
Hagrids hut is fine, this set is lego trying to see if star wars disrespect will also sell for harry potter. Maybe? Seriously this set is so dismissive of the humans who are intended to receive it its quite laughable.
Pretty sure George Gilliat didn't mean to disrespect you by designing this set :) Sure, it's a bit eclectic, and I don't really know what I'm gonna do with an army of Buckbeaks once I get a bunch of these, but I'm really sold on the idea of building myself a large modular Forbidden Forest, especially since they'll continue supporting this subtheme with new sets in summer and maybe even beyond that. Oh, and if you read designer notes for this one it's actually very interesting. They got last moment notice they can make one more set for this wave, so they decided to come up with this kind of battle pack.
@@patrickbrown9018 The resulting build is so scrawny and unsubstantial. Just like is common in jurassic and star wars. Its not nice to receive so little regardless of what you end up paying for it.
I’m sorry but the build for this for the price is just embarrassing. Hiding behind a few moulds to justify the price is pretty scummy. Especially when you know that a set like this is predominantly going to be bought by children or for children.
What's your favourite Magical Creature here in the set?
Baby thresteral
Isn’t this already a recolour of buckbeak? In the original Hagrid’s hut he was grey, and he looks white in your video.
EXCELLENT WORK.
I think the glow in the dark spider is pretty neat. But I guess that one doesn't count so I'll go with the baby thestral.
@@bboi1984I believe so
I just noticed that 30677 Draco in the Forbidden Forest connects as well.
Sure hope I can find that set , would go together well
Sure! I imagine the Aragog set that's coming later this year does as well.
Hargrids hut my fav awesome sets and reviews
Ooh, definitely getting this one! Love the creatures 😀✨✨

It would have been nice if he had given you a shout-out for pointing this out for his review.

"that wing keeps popping off" and the whole things come off 😂
Yes lol. But that was deliberate. The left wing kept coming off the hinges. It did it off camera as well
The fact that buckbeak cant pose his hind legs like a normale lego horse is sad
Awesome video ashnflash hey ashnflash I have purchased the bts set from Walmart today and it was on clearance for 30 dollars
I can't wait to get this set and combine it with #76400 Hogwarts Carriage & Thetrals!
I definitely going to pick this one up and if it's on sale or if I just can find it cheaper I will buy atleast 3
Might have to get this set for Buckbeak.
Why doesn't Star Wars get location sets like this 😔
very good question
I transitioned from star wars to Harry potter. Expect another Lukes Landspeeder in the coming year LOL
I mean can you imagine if we had a buildable death star that we could get room by room like Hogwarts

Not 100% sold on this one but definitely looking at some of the other March releases!

Is buckbeak identical to the last one in the sirius escape set?
This is just sad man... it's literally like a forest pack. "Fancy building an underwhelming forest for your city? Get this set!"
5:33 Where is it?
It’s cool but not a single exclusive magical creature like you said they should’ve done a recolour somewhere 😊
It is a different colour to the old one. The old one that came with Hagrid's hut/ buckbeaks escape was grey
It's the same one that came with Sirius' Rescue
Awesome. Can you do the Flying Ford Anglia next?
This set is 30 USD/EUR, not 20. That's a terrible price for a couple of trees and some rocks.
Yeah totally way overpriced
The only reason I imagine someone getting it is the blue fairy (if he doesnt have the Chamber of Secrets set).
Or for Buckbeak… or perhaps the baby thestral.
Is the buckbeak origanily Grey???
Yes, he was. They changed it recently

Thanks for letting me know. Glad people actually read them and I’m not wasting my time lol

Super cool very good. 🤭🤗👍✨🕷️🕸️💯🏆🔥🎉⭐⚡🎃
This set doesn’t even count as a forest it has 2 trees and high price 😂
Only good when it is 50% off
A set that doesn't have Harry Potter!!! IMO it is a very weak set, nothing really exciting and way to expensive for what it is.
It’s an easy skip for me considering I already have all the creatures in this set they should’ve included new and exclusive creatures 🫤
IMO it’s really strong. Lots of interesting creatures and rare, very cool colors

Not every set needs Harry

Having never heard any of these takes before, can you elaborate? What do you even mean?

@karrde593 ah yes now I do agree with that, for sure
Not gonna lie, this set is lame!
463Th like! :D
