The people who came up with these ideas for torture must have been truly sadistic. Also, sadly animals basically seemed to have no rights back then and were not treated like actual living beings.
They still aren't, unfortunately. It's up to us individuals and (PETA) to decide how we should treat our pets/animals in general, but there are still many individuals out there who think that animals are objects with no emotion for them to use. Like Amaze stated in the video, scientists are using mice (among other rodents) for experiments today. No-one is thinking of how all those mice feel!

Over the years, I’ve heard others express a real desire have lived in different eras of history - - - OH HECK NO‼️ Nope, No Way, forget it - - is how I respond to that!! I’m a fan of modern conveniences, hygiene, disease control methods (especially antibiotics and vaccines), and so much more.
While I feel like I'd be too scared to watch a video like this on other channels, I feel like it was so much easier with yours. While the methods are defintely horrible, gruesome, and downright disturbing, the animations aren't and it's actually easier to watch because of that. As someone who is wary of gore and death, to see the less graphic animations make it not only less disturbing to look at, but even a little more "entertaining" (quoting since the topic is still rather triggering and hard to discuss) due to the more cartoony nature. Even the ones regarding burning alive were easier to watch since you don't see like...Nightmare on Elm Street burns. Something I'm genuinely happy about.

I don't know, the white terror doesn't really sound all that bad when compared to the other stuff in this video. At least not at first. I think I could go a fair amount of time before finally losing it. Mainly because I like clean spaces and being alone doesn't bother me too much. But I definitely wouldn't like not being able to track time and that's where my insanity would begin.

Chinese water torture has a lot of myths surrounding it. When it's been investigated it's turned out to be a lot slower than what the myths claim. Those 30 minutes is one of those myths. It does work, just a lot slower than that. Also when the test subject lacks any reason to tough it out and only have to say stop they will not go anywhere near as long as they could have. So it's impossible to really test with any kind of ethically sound methods.
I have many pet rats and they are the most loving creatures I have ever encountered. I feel both honored and blessed to have the privilege of spending my life with them. They are absolutely sacred to me. They have been ever since a wild rat saved my life.

I thought being in the house without friends and being tutored with insults was bad, but the white terror, and the blackout box are certainly worse.
I don't know, the white terror doesn't really sound all that bad when compared to the other stuff in this video. At least not at first. I think I could go a fair amount of time before finally losing it. Mainly because I like clean spaces and being alone doesn't bother me too much. But I definitely wouldn't like not being able to track time and that's where my insanity would begin.

I often think deeply a about things and when I do, the rest of the world ceases to exist. People have to yell at me to bring me back. So I'm quite comfortable in my own head for long periods. Just how long, I've never put to the test, but I'm fairly confident I wouldn't fall apart too quickly.

I actually saw a replica of a brazen bull at the Discovery Park of America. Also, a RUclipsr named Tyler Cstari lasted 8 hours of Chinese water torture. He said most people can only last 30 minutes I think
Chinese water torture has a lot of myths surrounding it. When it's been investigated it's turned out to be a lot slower than what the myths claim. Those 30 minutes is one of those myths. It does work, just a lot slower than that. Also when the test subject lacks any reason to tough it out and only have to say stop they will not go anywhere near as long as they could have. So it's impossible to really test with any kind of ethically sound methods.

I have many pet rats and they are the most loving creatures I have ever encountered. I feel both honored and blessed to have the privilege of spending my life with them. They are absolutely sacred to me. They have been ever since a wild rat saved my life.
I have pet rats too, and have for more than 30 years. They are wonderful and extremely intelligent little guys.
