The bus situation reminds me of a trip to Cancun, where my group had booked a day trip to Isla Mujeres. It required a boat ride to the small island on a boat similar to a double-decker bus. Conditions of the ocean were very choppy for a small boat, and the crew made us sit down on the deck with our arms hooked around the railing so as not to fall overboard! The worst part was when the crew started unscrewing and lowering the side railing! They then instructed us to crouch down and lie down as flat as we could...as we approached a passage under a bridge that barely cleared our lowered heads by inches! That's a trip I obviously will never forget, and we stayed and enjoyed the beautiful resort for future trips. 😬

The guy who jumped from the Brooklyn Bridge - there's a lot more to that story. He was used to jumping off bridges (yes, for the purpose of encouraging people to jump to safety from burning buildings). This was just a much taller bridge than what he was used to.
Oh dear. I have some experience with diving (from a diving board into a pool) and his focus on encouraging people to jump to safety from fires was admirable, but his downfall. Diving head first with your arms out in front makes it harder for wind or anything to rotate you in the air, and it gives you some control of your downward arc. Feet first you lose any control the moment you jump

Sad to say, but my own son "won" a Darwin Award 14 1/2 years ago. He and his best friend rented a power boat and drove 50 miles upriver to their favorite camp and hunting site. As Son was pulling the boat up onto shore after they landed, he also attempted to hand off his rebuilt .9mm semi-automatic pistol to his friend. Friend caught the gun, but barely, and accidentally hit the trigger, blowing off the end of one finger at the first joint, and killing my son when the bullet entered Son's temple, ricocheted around a minute inside his skull, then exiting out the back of his head. He hadn't bothered to put the safety back on when he finished rebuilding the gun, thinking it would be much easier to test fire it a few times first. Thankfully, Son died instantly, so never knew what happened.
That's awful. I'm so sorry your son died in such a tragic way but, completely understand your being grateful his death was instant. I consoled myself in the same way when my father died suddenly from a massive stroke in his early 50s. He was a very active man and a half life would have been awful for him.

But Street performers don’t tend to have any assistance with their acts. (For the same reasons and because they just can’t afford one.😹) Some of the more popular ones might have a cameraman who could act as an undercover assistant on occasion, but in general they don’t have them.
I LOVE how this and a few other channels use animation to help support the story. Rather than other channels that use movie clips, that make the stories confusing because at times, you can't tell what is story, and what is obscure movie clips.
True story. 2 of my great uncles survived WW2 to die in unfortunate accidents shortly after. Sad to say, but my own son "won" a Darwin Award 14 1/2 years ago. He and his best friend rented a power boat and drove 50 miles upriver to their favorite camp and hunting site. As Son was pulling the boat up onto shore after they landed, he also attempted to hand off his rebuilt .9mm semi-automatic pistol to his friend. Friend caught the gun, but barely, and accidentally hit the trigger, blowing off the end of one finger at the first joint, and killing my son when the bullet entered Son's temple, ricocheted around a minute inside his skull, then exiting out the back of his head. He hadn't bothered to put the safety back on when he finished rebuilding the gun, thinking it would be much easier to test fire it a few times first.
Thankfully, Son died instantly, so never knew what happened.
That's awful. I'm so sorry your son died in such a tragic way but, completely understand your being grateful his death was instant. I consoled myself in the same way when my father died suddenly from a massive stroke in his early 50s. He was a very active man and a half life would have been awful for him.
I'm sorry for your loss. Sometimes we all take things for granted, especially in youth, and we make silly mistakes that can have such extreme consequences. Most of us have done things that could have gotten us killed, but we were lucky enough to live. I'm sorry your son was one of the unlucky ones.

True story. 2 of my great uncles survived WW2 to die in unfortunate accidents shortly after. The dumbest by far was the one who was talked into climbing the church tower to see if he could spot the bus coming. Yes some sweet old lady was tired of waiting for the bus and asked. Of course it all went horribly wrong and uncle plummeted to his messy demise. Still, I have a giggle about it every now and then, so it wasn't for nothing.

The entire reason I pointed the the no period part wasn't because it was bad English but rather because it tricky to read and was hard to tell what he was talking about
