I also understand this accent.. perhaps you are British and to the irony and that`s why you don`t understand, it`s a handicap to listen and understand to that pure manchester english accent.
Answering ATPL, appreciate your great effort to explain so clearly the topic. Really amazing piece work! Also as maybe others find it difficult to understand the speaking due to very strong accent (shortening the words and very level intonation), the added transcription definitely helps but believe the accent would varnish with time. Anyway, great educational video!
