  • Drag Race España season 2 Episode 3 Reaction! We reacted to the full episode of Drag Race Spain season 2 Episode 3! The 3rd mini challenge of the season was a fun little quick drag. The queens had to put on make up in 5 minutes and then answer riddles. If they got an answer wrong they would get pied in the face by the pit crew! The queens were then told that they would be competing in a improve acting challenge! The queens would improvise skits on a TV set. It was a bit confusing for us but there were some funny moments. Then on the main stage we were excited that when the girls came out in their looks there was a side by side picture of what they were recreating! The winner this episode was Venedita Von Dash! The bottom 2 were Samantha Ballentines and Jota Carajota. Samantha removed all of her clothes again for the 3rd time as Jota was really embodying the song! The judges started to tear up. The queens that was eliminated was Samantha. The cast seemed to get emotional! Then in the brief untucked there was some DRAMA between Juriji and Marina!!! The girls were not getting along and Juriji was saying that marina farted too much. It was a mess lol. What did you think of the episode?! We are so excited for this season and will be reacting to the whole thing! The cast of season 2 of Drag Race España are : Ariel Rec , Diamante Merybrown , Estrella Xtravaganza , Jota Carajota , Juriji Der Klee , Marina , Marisa Prisa , Onyx , Samantha Ballentines , Sharonne , Sethlas , Venedita Von Dash. Who are you rooting for to win season 2 of Drag Race España?!?! Have you seen any of the queens live? Let us know in a comment down below! #dragraceespanaseason2 #dragraceespanas2ep3 #dragraceespanaseason2 #dragracespainseason2 #dragraceespanas2review #dragraceespanareaction

Thanks for reacting to this! Just for reference, potato omelette is kind of the national dish in Spain. There is a huge cultural discussion between those who add onion to it and those who don't, basically, this debate divides Spaniards into two different types of people. It was so funny to see this made a joke on TV! Also, Estrella and Sharonne portrayed two very stereotypical Spanish antagonists, a lady from the south and a lady from Catalonia, their accents cracked me up!

Okay, as a Spanish, I will now show you a few things to be taken into consideration:
    - White onions are common in Andalucía, where Estrella is from. Red onions are common in Catalonia, where Sharone is from. That’s why they played stereotypical old ladies from their regions, which made it really funny…listen to their accents!
    - The improv was a mess, even for Spanish people (at least for my friends and I who watched it all together) It is true that El Diairo de Patricia is messy, but not THAT messy.
    - The runway was an homage to Pedro Almodóvar’s girls. Pedro is one of the best Spanish movie directors.
    - Belgium people are BRUTALLY honest, that is why Juriji felt a bit harsh when talking to Marina, but that’s just how they are, and if something bothers them, they will let you know right away.

Exaclty! Also, I'd like to add that when Eduardo introduced himself and said: "My friend Ana María Polvorosa", he wasn't making fun of Locking. Ana María is an actress and one of Eduardo's best friends; the joke here is that they look very alike since they both share name and hair colour

honestly i feel like there's A LOT we're not seeing off camera because when juriji came for marina, i felt bad too BUT i wonder why none of the other queens came to marina's defense then.....also the reason they were probably crying in the lipsync is because samantha's a high regarded queen in spain and they pretty much knew it was her time from the moment the lipsync started. we have to remember that performance on drag race DOES NOT reflect how amazing and talented a queen is in real life gigs. sure, we see snippets of their drag, but they're put under immense pressure, time constrains, etc. for filming. love you guys and your reactions

Samantha is reminding me of Pupi from Season 1, a well-respected queen amongst the cast that struggled in the beginning. Minichallenge called "El juego de la loca" because in 90s in Spain we had a TV Show called "El gran juego de la oca" that simulated a gameboard with challenges (you can found some videos in YT). For the phrases, Supremme was asking for phrases (something like poems) in Spain we used as metaphors and are popular. And younger people usually doesn't know, so that was the challenge... hahaha ;)

Doing a Pedro Almodóvar runway is one of the most inspired things ever done on Drag Race.
Almodóvar is an openly gay Spanish auteur director, he’s an Academy Award winner, and he’s one of the best living directors around. His films are colorful, very queer, and just gorgeous works of art. He’s collaborated with many Spanish actresses, and he basically made Penélope Cruz’s career (she’s been nominated for an Oscar for two of his films - ‘Volver’ in 2006, and just this past year for ‘Parallel Mothers’).
If you’re queer and enjoy movies, I highly suggest looking into his films. Love him so much. ♥️

I was so upset watching this episode. Juriji was so rude and bully with no reason against Marina. She was one of my favourites but now with that attitude she just lost everything. Just some episodes ago they were openly talking about the importance about mental health and talking about the bad things that are happening to you and now that one of their partners try to share their feelings, they treat them like this... I could see myself in Marina when I was little and people bullied me while the others laughed or did nothing... And it's not the first time, they have been shading her since the beginning and I don't understand. Also, I don't understand why everyone is supporting Juriji after this. I mean, she has been basically a bully, innecesarilly rude. You can't talk about mental health and helping each other and then support a rude bitch.
