Is the rcn2 controller just as good as the controller you are using .as far as range distance. I heard they added 4 antennas is that 4 I to the drone itself I heard 2 receive antennas and to for transmission
❤ Wondering why no one is commenting on the fly app addition of Smartshots settings? Seems pretty important, but not enough for DJI to release any instructions.
Nothing was mentioned about the smart shot settings in the Control page of the controller; seems to be very little that I can find regarding these settings
So I shoot in the ocean and on my mavic 3 I cannot take off when moving up and down from waves. Minor waves ok, but just slightly rough, the blades activate but it will not lift off. DJI was no help. Any ideas? This wasn’t an issue with mavic 2
I'd have really loved to see a "Clean HDMI out" in the update. The RC pro and smart controller does support either the mini 4 and Air 3 so there is no way to get a clean HDMI out on this drones.
Awesome news Aldryn and thanks!! I had just checked the DJI forum and they hadn't posted any news about the new firmware until after I watched your video. These are indeed features that I and many others have been asking for on the Air 3 and in my opinion, puts it right back in contention of one of the best in the DJI lineup. Of course thats dependent on what you need out of a drone too. Great work Aldyn and thanks for all your hard work!!
Is the vision assist available for use with the goggles 3? If not, do you think they will make the work at some point? I love flying with goggles but having the vision assist would be a great safety addition. Let me know what you think?
Do you think Active Track 360 will come to the Mavic 3 Pro eventually too? Pretty bummed they added all the same features to the recent update except for that one.
Yeah, that’s not really fair to Mavic 3 Pro customers, especially being that you paid so much more for that drone. It’s suppose to be the “flagship” drone. So I would expect it to have every newest feature available. Especially because it’s not a very old drone at all. I would be a little irritated if I paid all that money for a drone, only for a newer drone to come out, that’s much cheaper, and has a lot more features.

Regarding the downward sensors, when I change that setting does it turn off just the downward sensors or does it turn off the lateral/front/back ones? I am a little bit confused with this. Thank you.

Do vision sensors work only after take off, my new DJI air 3 is saying vision sensors unavailable, since I have no propellers now so can't test it , can u guys help me out ??

I'm updating the firmware as I'm watching your review. The digital photo zoom is a massive upgrade along with the visual sensor views. As always, thank you for your excellent presentations.

I wonder why they didn’t make the photo zoom 48 megapixels. Why did they limit it to 12?
Because after 12x it switches to telescopic lense.

The air 3 needs explorer mode that is in the 3 pro. So you don't have to stop your video the change cameras

That’s because you see seeing the recording off the RC2 Controller screen and not direct footage from the drone cameras.

Are you able to access the telescopic lense (3x) with the DJI motion 2 controller?
Seems like its stuttering when using activetrack auto. Is it caused by the screen recording function
