I've watched several other videos on these new features but this was the first that explained that you can change the radius of the drone in the circle around you and its altitude. Thank you for the great review of the new firmware and the features it provides, including the negatives.
Great informative video, thanks. They're going to definitely need to improve on the subject speed capabilities for the active track. I'm dying to get some drone footage for my motorcycle, but not if I can't get stable consistent 360 tracking at 35mph+. I haven't seen anything amazing yet with fast objects with the Mini 4 or the Air 3.
Why does my menu only show “Active Shots” and not “Active Track”? I see Active Shots, Spotlight, and POI…but nowhere do I get the straightforward Active Track.
Update question - my understanding is that we can now record screen shots directly to the remote SD card. 1) How do we set that up? 2) Will that include the recording of audio? We like to slate our shots verbally but haven't been able to figure out that solution. Thanks!
Yes you can! Just gotta swipe down twice from the top of the screen and hit record. Here’s a tutorial by another channel that should help further m.ruclips.net/video/km2q8pHd-nM/видео.html
Great info on the update, thank you for doing it. I thought I would add that the 9x zoom works in the photo mode only if you have the camera set to 12 MP, it will not work in 48 MP.
I think my biggest concern with Active Track is that I don't trust it the same way I did with my SKydio. That drone sucked at just about everything else, but its tracking was on a totally different level. I would use the Skydio to take videos offloading. I would fly it 20 feet in front of my car around 6 -8 feet off the ground. They gave you the option to go below 8 feet, you would just have to click OK on the warning. If DJI could reverse engineer Skydio's secret sauce into their drones it would be crazy awesome. I parted ways with my Skydio, and have been using my Mavic to track my car and it's just not the same. The M3P feels like a fat pig in the sky, and it ran into a tree that was plain as day visible while it was tracking my wife and son walking. Walking... I know the M3P has a better wide angle camera, but I was hoping the Air3 with its better flight characteristics would help me bridge that gap.
Wow thank you for the informative video titurial of setting of dji air3 drone this is so very great ive use too ilove it this drone so perfect to me.thanks🥰🥰🥰
Do you think Active Track 360 will come to the Mavic 3 Pro eventually too? Pretty bummed they added all the same features to the recent update except for that one.
I'd imagine it should be coming? I haven't heard specifically, but it would make sense to me if it did. Maybe needs a bit more work due to the 3-camera system
Sad most of the new updates have been available via 3rd party apps such as Litchi and Maven lite. Sadder I can use the same tricks that the mini 4 does on my mini 2. DJI builds good drones, yet their apps lag BIG time. Ive been using active trach since the mini 2 debut. Thanks for the adventure. Happy Holidays1
I believe a majority of Mini 4 Pro as well as Air 2S owners are holding their collective breaths to see if DJI will introduce the Air 3S or Pro Models before they jump right into this big purchase.
2:13 You clearly didn't need Vision Assist in that situation. The drone was right beside you. You simply were not paying attention to your surroundings. Using Vision Assist would have been more of a distraction than assistance. Remember, It is only a vision assist.
I was very much paying attention to my surroundings and trying to fly backwards between a whole in the trees. Again... it was right next to me and I knew if it crashed I'd easily be able to recover it (which I did)
Well today my drone crashed, using 360 active track... It literally went backwards into branches on its own. 1 day, 2 risky situations, one of them damage drone big time. Gimbal stuck now. Ordered new ptz cable. its fkn anoying
Holy crap. Calm down with your IN YOUR FACE editing. I don't need you to subtitle every. word. at. the. beginning. separately. And you doing digital crop zoom ins the back out to highlight a phrase or sentence? Incredibly distracting.
3 seconds in to this video you refer to this as a Mavic Air 3. DJI have not used the name Mavic for an Air series drone since the Mavic Air 2. (Released 04/2020). Additionally having used vision assist on a Mavic 3 Pro since it was added in a firmware update I can assure you it has little benefit in the situation where you are demonstrating it. It is a very useful feature when further from the drone in a less dense environment.

Yeah I feel like most folks didn’t realize you could adjust those settings. Glad you found it helpful!

One man show alone at the lunch table 😂
Love that scene
Active track 360 only on this model ??

Does it have sound
Great clear and concise abridged version of software update. Well done young man, well done. Now, pass the mustard 😂
Haha cheers!

yes! forgot to mention that... I was trying to get through those "smaller" updates a bit quicker
Is Activetrack locked to 30 fps, or is it just a flight mode with manual settings?
You can control all the recording settings manually. Activetrack just does the flight part
Great job. You got a new subscriber. I’m going to pick up an Air 3 as soon as my tax return comes in. Thanks for this.

Probably not..other "reviews on the firmware update" has stated that it will not because the Mavic 3 Pro doesn't have Ocusync 4..
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

Long Live Subaru😎
it's so clunky to swap between 1x and 3x because they are two separate cameras, not two separate lenses on one camera.
Yes I’m aware. I actually mentioned this in the video, but it was starting to feel a bit long so I cut it out

ugh... sorry to hear that! had you adjusted the activetrack settings at all? curious what might have caused the issue
@@kylemeshna No its default. But so far obstacle avoidance is not surprising.
I tried to get my Air 3 to track my wife walking the dog and it wouldn’t work 👎
