If you’re talking about the one at like 2:00 in then that’s havasu and there’s a line that goes around it. They made the choice to go for the double
no the riders just need to be betters it’s like a maybe 15 foot jump and everyone cases it the landing does suck i see that but since it’s such a small jump they can over jump it and be perfectly fine.

The racers get to pre-ride the course. Then decide THEMSELVES if they have the skills/stones to attempt double/triple jumps (fast), or lay up and take each one individually (slow).
It's difficult for slow riders to run their own race. They see faster riders doing doubles/triples and get enticed into riding beyond their skills level.
There's a basic rule to motorcycle riding, street or dirt.
Ride YOUR OWN ride.
I love watching these,even when some of the jumps seem impossible and getting hurt,they are doing what they love🙂🌺

On 21 August of 2023 while riding single-track in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho on my 2021 KTM300XCW I ended up at the premature end of the trail. Someone had put a huge log in the way and it forced me to turn around and head back. There had been a huge rainstorm the weekend prior and once empty creeks and rivers were once again flowing. I go to the river crossing and unbeknownst to me, a stick had punctured my front tire. As I turned to cross the river, the tire peeled off the rim, the handlebars jerked to the right and it threw me into the river. I was able to get halfway out of the water before my injuries completely shut me down. I was unfortunately riding alone and was in the bottom of a canyon. Time ticked away and it was getting cold and I was resigned to die. Then three riders came up to me and saved my life. They did all they could for me and life flight arrived. Was in the ICU for about a week and another three weeks on the surgical ward. I had shattered my right clavicle, broken all my ribs on the right side, tore up right knee, broke right ankle in two places (was wearing Tech 7’s) and a punctured lung. I have been riding since I was six and am now 61. It is surprising how fast a serious crash can take place. If not for the three out of state riders I would have died from exposures the punctured lung. So when I see crashes now, finding happiness in what is going to be a lot of pain for the riders in these videos…is tough. Ride on! 🤙🤙🤙

They should've prevented that double jump. It was way too distant from the initial one, given that the track didn't permit enough speed to land on its downward slope.😀

One thing when riding on ice slowly, sit down. There is no problem unless you lean too much or make back wheel spin. And spinning a bit doesn't do any bad unless you lean

They should have stopped that double jump. It was too far from the first one because the track wouldn't allow enough speed to land on the down slope of it.
