Edge van works makes there belly pans. They protect among other things our second alternator (Nations) that charges our house batteries (campers). The second alternator tends to hang a bit low as does some of the electrical connectors (often attack to Balmar controller).
It’s a Promaster spaceship 🛸 I’m so envious of their dual alternator but I’m too scared to get one because I heard if it’s done wrong it’s screws up the coolant and destroys the engine
The belly pan is $800 from van edge works Livermore. Installed by FreedomVanGo Jacksonville. The dual alternator is from Nations in Missouri. Installed by Custom Coach Creations in DeLand Florida. 125 amps at idle. 250 underway.
Yes, in fact. The rear suspension is just leaf springs, and a solid beam axle. Literally identical to a horse drawn wagon. Air bags would go between the leaf springs and the frame just like a semi truck. Simple, cheap, effective.
Deeply and profoundly unreliable. The gas promaster is by far the most durable vehicle I've ever owned. But the diesel is an expensive can of worms to be avoided at all costs.
Thought I responsed to this. I have a video for what to look for in a used van. But at 23k, there isn't ANY maintenance that needed done except for oil changes. It's basically new, barely broken in.
What the hell is this guy in the Pro Master from space or does he not know he can get a knock off customize star link kit at a fraction of the cost and of the size of that massive monstrosity that he has on his Pro Master?WTF!!!
I would never stand between a man and his gadget buying. That particular guy spends his winters in the middle of nowhere in Mexico. Might have something to do with that.

The shop coffee is excellent. The joints are still good. 500 miles later. Thanks for the work.

Correct. I like that belly pan - nice stuff.
Thx for the fun content regardless of looking for practical Promaster knowledge! 😆
Interesting AND informative? Too much to ask!
@@promastersonly1419 ...irregardless...lol
I love how the kitty views you as a mini me and is eager to claw your eyes out, probably because you are as wicked as you look lol
I am CERTAIN he would kill and eat me if he had the chance.
Thank you so much. I’m so glad for all the promaster specific info.
That's what I'm here for. Thanks.
KEVIN!!!
Any chance you have a fax machine for customer use :p
I actually have one. It came with the building!

That problem was early on and since corrected. Fear not! They are expensive though. A generator may be a better option.

Fantastic info. Or should I say...VANtastic info. Thanks!

Hmm. I thought for sure these videos would get us some phone calls. : (
Wish we have your twin out west 🙂
Where do you find this studio with a perfect vintage office preserved from decades ago?
Great expense was incurred to make this place look like an unchanged gas station built in 1949.
Is the PCV located in the same place on the promaster as the jeep engine one the video ?
@@lamontlacour9262 yup. End of the rear valve cover.
Great idea for a channel! Hope you get a million subs. I'm about to buy a 2019 promaster. What questions should I ask the seller? Thanks
Didn't see this for some reason. I have a whole video on how to assess a used Promaster. It's title...err...How to Assess a Used Promaster.
should i buy a 2015 diesel promaster with 80k miles or are the unreliable?

@@promastersonly1419 awesome thank you so much!! I was so close to buying it but the transmission felt weird
Got it!
any chance the owner has a channel, or pictures of the support for the satellite?
Not that I know of. Sorry.
It has 23,000 miles
