Function key for Brightness not working on Windows 11/10

There are different ways to change the screen brightness, but the easiest way is to use the function keys. PCs of different brands have different function keys to control screen brightness.
If the Function key for brightness is not working in Windows 11/10, the solutions provided below will help you.
1] Use the Fn key too
2] Run the appropriate troubleshooters
3] Make sure that the Generic PnP Monitor driver is enabled
4] Roll back or reinstall your keyboard driver
5] Uninstall and reinstall your Display driver
6] Uninstall the recent Windows Update
7] Install Microsoft Basic Display Adapter

Brightness wasn't working and it was causing irritation to my eyes especially during power failures, uninstalling display driver worked. Thanks a lot 🙂🙏

for 1st method how to set the key like by only pressing f2 key change the brightness/volume instead of pressing both fn and f2 to change the volume/brightness laptop: acer aspire 7 {2023}
