Generally these videos waste my time and drag out meaningless chatter. This dude was to the point and extremely thorough. I wish you could be the troubleshooter video guy for EVERYTHING! 😊
Just came back to say thank you so much. You’re a life saver. Need more people like yourself on the internet to help the community. Thank you so much sir. Only took me 5 secs to fix the problem with the Allen key. Much love from California 🥰🥰
It's crazy because you literally addressed my specific problem (broke shot glass) and showed me the easiest and cheapest option! (Free). Fixed it in 3 minutes. You're the best. I hope your channel continues to grow and you keep doing such awesome videos! Thank you! 👏🏿👏🏿
I saw other video where they were just sticking to reset and use a wrench to twist, which i knew already and it wasn’t working the motor was jammed even though i twist with a wrench and gets jammed again on one point, but you showed so many creative ways, when you showed drilling technique i knew it will definitely work , which it did , me happy wife happy kid happy. Thanks a lot brother. Awesome job to the point. ❤ Subscribed !!!
Big fan of videos like this that are quick, straight forward, and casually informative without a ton of fluff, thank you for your time and effort helping us all out.
Took me near 20 minutes to unstick mine, your video really helped! I used the handle of a hammer to twist the disposal around instead of a broom. A piece of plastic, a piece of sticky tape, a piece of rubber, a twist-tie, and a screw were all teamed up to clog my sink!
You tube is the ticket anything and everything that breaks type it in search bar wabam someone has made video showing how to fix it never considered myself a Mr fixit but I do now cheers
Thanks for putting in the effort to make such a helpful video! You chose good lighting and clear camera angles to show exactly what needs to be done, and you kept it short and to the point.
Thank you so much 😊. My husband was not home when my garbage disposal was not working and I couldn’t find a wrench. I used the broom stick method and it worked . Your video is the best one .
1/4 Allen wrench was the ticket! The can pull tab that was jammed still made noise like you said it might. Locked on to the pull tab with a pair of hemostats then turned it backward with the Allen and was finished. Thanks Man!
Like many others, I also want to thank you. The very first method you mentioned, fixed my disposal. You are super, and this lady from Bonne Terre MO thanks you.
Thank you! Thank you for keeping it short and sweet as well as effective. I will add one thing. My issue was ... drumroll .. a shot glass! I can almost reach my hand in but not advised. Hand tools work great for large pieces (the base of the glass) but I used a vacuum cleaner for the majority of the debris. I had to rotate the disposal using the hex wrench a few times to be able to suck everything up, but it's all good now. Simple. Fast. Easy. Free!
This works brilliantly!! But for some reason my Allen wrench is stuck! I literally can’t get it out and I didn’t stick it in there super tight and it hard. Anyone ever experience this? How do you get it back out?
Thank you! My usual method of trying to pry to free with a long spoon or knife wasn't working this time so I looked up "stuck garbage disposal" and got the solution I needed in less than a minute! And now I know how to fix it next time when it happens again. So stoked right now!
Using the Impact drill just saved me $200. I tried the Allen wrench and could not budge the blade. Before replacing it I saw your video. Thank you wish I would’ve seen it before I bought the new disposable.
I ❤ you!!! a small glass bottle fell in the GD and of corse didn’t see it .. managed to shop vac most of it out but all I got was the motor hum after.. Allen wrench and your advice saved the day in less than 30 seconds !!!
How about using a vacuum hose most regular vacuum attachments are small and long enough to fit? Another question I have disposal that will not be used for months at a time causing it to lock up once unstuck it will work but it seems like it needs lube or something is anything to spray it with while attached or can it be removed to do something? Thanks
I have followed all the steps, and can manuually spin the grinders by hand. When I turn it on, it still hums. When I put the key in the bottom its still very hard to turn either way. Do you think this is due to the motor rather than it being stuck? Or think I should keep trying to turn the key.
Thank you! What if it's a small piece of metal and I cannot feel it when my hands inside?; do I have to call a plumber? I think it's size of nail clippers that's stopping my garbage disposable
Question, I’ve done the broom stick method before on mine, but this time I can’t even get it to turn, any thoughts? I live in Florida and the water is harsh, I haven’t ran it that often, I put baking soda down it with white vinegar Incase it was just build up, nothing. When I do broom stick method now no matter how hard I push it does not spin,
The allen wrench did not budge. The broom didn’t work either. Also tried lightly jamming a screwdriver to loosen things up. Have any other idea on how to loosen the rust first maybe?
I try the wrench first. If that doesn't work, I try a vacuum cleaner hose, which works great when it's stuck from a piece of broken glass or something like that.
Especially in a long or short-term rental I would recommend using a shop vac instead of just sticking your hand down there because you don't know if it's broken glass

Thanks, trying to get there 👍

Same here. 5 mins. Thanks.
Ditto!
1/4” Allen wrench did the trick, thank you!
Thanks man. 40 seconds into the video and mine is fixed. You even knew the right size Allen wrench. Good man.

Great video. Clear, concise and to the point. No fluff or dramatic intros. Thanks!

The broom worked like a charm. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the 1 minute fix. Saved me a hassle and certainly some cash!
The drill trick worked great for me. Great quick info. You deserve a follow sir.
Excellent video. Being a new homeowner, I've inherited a lot of maintenance issues. Subscribed!

5 videos later, you fix my garbage disposal. Thank you very much. It was the broom.
Turning it over with an allen key worked instantly. Thank you friend.
Used the broom method. Took me all of 3 seconds. Thanks!
Broom to the rescue! 🛠
Literally a perfect video, clear straightforward help, multiple options, great content! Subscribed
Since I did not have any of the tools on hand, method #4 worked flowlessly. Thank you.
Thank you! I am not at all mechanically inclined but I was able to easily follow your step-by-step instructions for fixing my garbage disposal.
1/4 Allen wrench was the ticket! The can pull tab that was jammed still made noise like you said it might. Locked on to the pull tab with a pair of hemostats then turned it backward with the Allen and was finished. Thanks Man!
1/4” Allen wrench worked for me too!!! Thank you!

that broom stick trick worked like a charm !! omg you are a life saver
My garbage disposal acted as if it were going to fall off. Not sure what I was expecting to happen to know if I was doing it right so I gave up.

He made it look so easy.... which it was. Very helpful and problem solved
This works brilliantly!! But for some reason my Allen wrench is stuck! I literally can’t get it out and I didn’t stick it in there super tight and it hard.
Anyone ever experience this? How do you get it back out?
Allen wrench to the rescue. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.
Allen wrench worked for me in 2 seconds. Thank you!!
Thank you! My usual method of trying to pry to free with a long spoon or knife wasn't working this time so I looked up "stuck garbage disposal" and got the solution I needed in less than a minute! And now I know how to fix it next time when it happens again. So stoked right now!

Thank you soooo much!! My wine topper was stuck. The broom did the trick! You are amazing!
The broomstick handle worked!!! Thanks!
Fed my garbage disposal shot glass. These are great tips. Wish me luck. 😊
I ❤ you!!! a small glass bottle fell in the GD and of corse didn’t see it .. managed to shop vac most of it out but all I got was the motor hum after.. Allen wrench and your advice saved the day in less than 30 seconds !!!

Method #2 fixed mine! Thanks for sharing the info
I learned something today! Thank you! Aspiring Maintenance Tech here
Thanks! Nothing worked until I tried the broom method. I whacked it from the top a few times, and then I was able to unjam it using the Allen key.
I have followed all the steps, and can manuually spin the grinders by hand. When I turn it on, it still hums. When I put the key in the bottom its still very hard to turn either way. Do you think this is due to the motor rather than it being stuck? Or think I should keep trying to turn the key.
This is what my is doing did you figure anything out or just replace cheers
Thank you! What if it's a small piece of metal and I cannot feel it when my hands inside?; do I have to call a plumber? I think it's size of nail clippers that's stopping my garbage disposable
You can try some long needle nose pliers and a flashlight to dislodge it
Man to man, I love you bro. Thx for the tips. You saved me the hassle of replacing a perfectly fine garbage disposal. SUBSCRIBED

You explain so nicely and so many options.. thanks
Nice! Thanks alot. It was running before the video was over.
Thank you for teaching this. I was able to fix mine myself
Used a 1/4" Allen on mine and worked like a charm.😊
Great tips! Off to see if I can get mine unjammed.
This is SUPER HELPFUL! Thank you!
Would a hammer and an Allen wrench work fine I don’t got them electric drills
Wow, this really helped straight forward. Uncloged mine...
Thank you! First one worked like a charm!
It was worth watching to the and end. The broom handle method helped clear a cloth that got tangled in the blades!
I thought I was gonna have to take the whole thing off. The moment I heard "1/4 inch hex wrench" I got so relieved!
You, sir, are appreciated and thanked.
This is very helpful. I'm going to give it a try.
Love your facial expressions 😂. Here's me...never cutting the power with hand fully inserted 😮. Your way definitely better. Thanks for the tips.
Good stuff brethren this Allen trick worked
Thank you so much! You helped me save my money. The first tip didn’t trick! ❤
Thank you good sir, the broom worked like a charm
thanks so much for your expertise!!!!! worked like a charm God bless
#4 worked!!!! Thank you 🙏🏽 subscribed.
good video bro - im subscribing. No BS, useful info only.
Thank you for the tips. The broom handle was the fixer.
I used spoon instead of broom thank you so much great help 😅
Got the studio going!
Thank you so much that did the trick the first time around❤
You literally just saved me some unknown Mega-plumber bill-thank you.
The allen wrench did not budge. The broom didn’t work either. Also tried lightly jamming a screwdriver to loosen things up. Have any other idea on how to loosen the rust first maybe?
If an impact drill don’t work then I would say she’s toast
Ok thanks for the video and quick response.
Thanks, I feel like a master handyman
never knew about the allen! Grabbed a allen set out of the garage and had the keychain wedged in there removed in a few seconds!
This video came in so clutch thank you !!!
Your video did the trick! Thank You!
Thanks for watching!
Hex key trick worked great. Thx!
YOUR VIDEO WORKS 5 STARS ...DONT CLEAN FISH TANK WITH THE PEBLE ROCKS WHAT A NIGHTMARE ...I GOT LUCKY ...THANK GOD AND THIS NICE GUY
Thank you for watching! Aquarium rocks don’t go well in disposals
Thank you, impact wrench worked.
I try the wrench first. If that doesn't work, I try a vacuum cleaner hose, which works great when it's stuck from a piece of broken glass or something like that.
You can also use a vacuum cleaner to remove debris inside the garbage disposal if you don't want to reach in there with your hands, great vid thanks.
Make sure it's a wet/dry shop vac.
Dude you are the best 😂 did your first suggestion. Took me 2 minutes 😂
THANK YOU!!
Especially in a long or short-term rental I would recommend using a shop vac instead of just sticking your hand down there because you don't know if it's broken glass
Broom handle worked like a champ to free a screw that fell in and got stuck in the seam. Genius.
thanks for the video, I was about to take mine apart 😅. Took me less than 5 minutes
This sorted me right out! thanks buddy
You mentioned that you can take the garbage disposal apart to find the blockage. So you have a video on how to do that?
Thank you for the help!
Thanks a million - helped me unjam after wife accidentally dropped a glass shot. Much appreciated
1/4 in Allen & 5 mins. Thanks!
The first suggestion worked for me
Thank you for the help
The broomstick tip did the trick! 🎉🎉🎉
Wasn't thinking and poured old rice down there and it's in-between the gears geez i feel so dang stupid. that's why I am here. Hope your tips work.
All hail the broom tactic!
absolute lifesaver!!!
Thank you sir.
Thank you so much!
Broom worked! Thanks!
Thank you!
