Lol, I love how the cat is basically saying: "hey, hey, calm down... calm down, AND LET ME BITE YOU! Calm down! Calm down..."
🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious!
yeah that is a cat quality to behave like that... it doesnt even make sense to me at all...

Because they are. Servals can learn tricks and understand when you call for them.
ShadowAimai if a cat was a dog IT woud be the serval or the cheetah two wierd cats that have ther own way of hunting collest cats ever🐆🐆🐆

Ultoriel When you're trying to calm down your best friend.
Hahahhahah... yeah... "Dog, just chill
Look at that tongue dodge at 0:28! Fantastic reflexes!
I watched a documentary on domestic cats in which they now think that they can use all the whiskers on their faces to detect tiny movements with them. To the point of people not knowing that their cats had gone blind, and I can verify this. I took our 19 year old Siamese to the vet and she told me he had gone blind. I didn't know! He still walked around the house like he owned it.
@@teerexness that sad im sorry, but still insane mate

They're working out how to play together, it's really sweet.
Not correct, the serval is trying to get the dog to retreat peacefully. The paw on the chest gesture is something they do in the wild to settle territorial disputes without violence (which is lovely), but it is not playing. The dog is clearly not trying to play either and is intimidated.
Knowing that these two creatures wouldn’t normally meet in the wild😡🤬they must have either grown up together or been together for a while and they have got to know each other and in my personal opinion having had large cats and dogs before😍these two are more playing around than anything else

When the Serval rolled on it's back I thought to myself, "Don't fall for it, Dog, it's a trap!"
Too adorable. The Serval’s gesture with the arm extended, and paw on Dogs chest. As if to say, ‘Hey, this is good. We’re good. Just hanging out. All is good. Let’s keep it light.’

Man, I thought regular house cats were quick. That thing is like lightning! So cool they get along that well
I just love the crazy eyes that servals all seem to have. My newest cat, whom I adopted from a shelter because of her resemblance to a savannah/serval both in looks & personality, also has the crazy eyes haha. She also has rather large ears for her head so when she gets all hyper (which is let's face it, always) her facial expressions are just ridiculous. I swear she must be low gen savannah mix/abby/ or bengal because she is wickedly intelligent and only has two settings: hyper kitty on crack or passed out sleeping & dead to the world.
Aww, I'd love to see video of her, she sounds awesome!
I like that description. on Crack, or passed out completely.
At the very least a serval in spirit. Sounds like such a nice cat ^-^

The reflexes of the Serval are insane, almost instantaneous. The dog, OTH, wasn't backing down -- I don't think the cats gonna park itself in a hallway and have the dog be afraid to walk by it.
The Servals fast reflexes make an ordinary house cat look quite slow😍
That serval is really fast but so gentle with the dog. I'm believe it knows how much damage it can do. Sweetie ❤️
In a fight the dog would come out the winner, no doubt.
@@juansinmiedo2217 😂 possible, I don't know.
The dog would tear that cat to shreds if they fought. The cat might get a bite in, but it would be pointless. There's a reason the cat layed down and exposed it's belly. It knows who the alpha is.
@@themonsterunderyourbed9408 a serval is a slightly larger version of a house cat and would have very little chance in a do or die match. That said the German Shepard would likely not be able to kill it as the Serval would just haul ass at the sign of danger. These fuckers are fast an athletic as hell. Hate how this discussion even came about. Just enjoy the beauty in their relationship and playfulness. Stop with death matches and shit. I'm a dog person but ain't no dog out there fucking with the biggest cats out there if that's what your trying to make this out to be. Unless their is some polar dog breed that hasn't been discovered good luck against a tiger, lion or Jaguar.
The cat is SO incredibly fast. Reaction time and reflexes are off the chart. Brilliant tactic of placing that extended foot enables the cat to not only feel the dog tense before moving but to slow any actual move by the dog to close the distance between them.
Such a smart, gentle cat. That paw reach out is just plain adorable.

House cats are amazingly quick
The Serval is so quick and quick reflexes.

Cat: dude, chill. I'm just tryna be yr friend
This cat should have been a boxer. Extending the arm out to keep distance and slow down the dog. Also the bobbing and weaving with the head was amazing
After watching Serval videos for years, I've decided a Serval is two front paws with a cat attached. They are so expressive, so touchy/feely with those paws.
That has got to be the most awesome dog in his behaviors while the cat interacted with him. I seen in my two boys now 11 months old. How learning to play is a skill that is learned, while some pleasant and nice, others hostile and mean.
This dog IS awesome!
When the cat lays down on the floor, it's a sign he is giving up the fight.
no - it's a sign there is no fight. Cats don't give up fights.
This has made my night from all this virus depression =3
Looks like the cat is trying to say, 'wait hold up, hold up, wait, listen. I need to whisper a secret, hold up!'
Servals are simply a beautiful animal.....
Serval, "come on...take one for the team." Dog, "are you crazy?"
Once the Serval showed it’s stomach they were friends for life 😸
The dexterity and agility of that serval is incredible.
Second fastest cat in the World -- if it was as big as a Cheetah it would run 120 mph
Care to explain how gaining 100 lbs would increase the animal's overall speed by 70 mph?
P.S. The extra 100 lbs contains skin, bone, internal organs, etc. that do nothing but indirectly , slow the animal down...
Two of mother natures beautiful creations.
Looks like dog is reacting to an alchol intrevention and the cat is doctor phil
What a beautiful cat
this is what my friend and I look like when we get into drunk fights
Within a Google search, I quickly found out that Jagger was declawed. Don't adopt a feral breed if you dont want your pets to be scratched... Poor Jagger.
Cat: let's settle this with BJJ *rolls over*
Dog: he conceded
hehe like how he holds the dog back =D nice video, very dangerous Kitty LOL =P
It's visible that cats are very fast with amazing reflex. It's a play only so it's very cute
He was feeling the neck for the jugular. The dog was dead seconds after the filming stopped...
You clearly see at the end of the film the cat went down submissive bowed his head first before the dog and stopped making eye contact. Those are signs of submission or just wants to play. Plus if that cat wanted the dog dead he would be have to be quick about it. Once the German shepherd gets a hold of the cat its over for the cat. All the 400 lbs of force is going to break those bones that cat has.
Břęňđąñ MçĆæřţhý Servals lie down to show confidence. They have one of the fastest reflexes
Cat : *hands out* Daddy chill
Dog : what the is hell even is that?!
Jagger assumed the submissive position.
I believe you are reading cats wrong, dogs submit on their back or low head, for cats its the other way around, they fight low & back allows them to attack with their hind legs, she is inviting him to attack.
Christian King actually when a cat exposes their stomach like that it means they aren't in a attacking mode. Because their stomach is an extremely vulnerable spot.
Chel X This is incorrect, this is a playful attack position. It invites an attack which my Bengal always does all the time during play. And if you ever own a cat they behave similar to cats in the wild, they show submission by lowering their body to the ground with head down. There is also no 100% submission with cats, because their instinct is fight or flight. Lions are a great example because after they encounter their foes the submission pose is what I explained. Here is an example of a cat submission watch till the end. ruclips.net/video/g0MoTUtP1WU/видео.html
Chel X I think you need to do some research, watch a cat when you give it a stuffed toy their front paws are to grab the object towards them for a bite, meanwhile they use their hind legs to kick and scratch. You can also watch big cats or regular cats do this. Cats only assume submissive positions when they go on all four down on the ground with their bellies touching the floor. I own a bengal who play with other bengals and this is exactly what you see until you see their dominant side.
+Daniel Hunter UMMMM, no.......Cats many times launch deadly attacks from that position.
That dog sounded so scared
I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed, I was thinking to myself "that dog looks terrified"
Serval: this is so confusing. How do I kill this giant?
Dog: I am friend
this isn't playing. this is the dog being very stressed and non aggressive while the cat uses one of its 9 lives.
They're playing, fool.
Beautiful serval. Very clever and smart as well!
0:55 LOL checking to see if it's a boy or a girl
The dog is thinking-ok, a cat, I should chase it up a tree, however it looks like it could kick my ass!
That German Shepard is really smart. It knows that servals like other wild cats always attacks their prey by the neck and goes for the kill
As do canines as well.
That's no German Shepherd
Sure, they hunt small prey in the wild. German shepards can get up to 65KG dude... And they were bred for over 100 years to rip out humans jugulars on a battlefield. No offence but trying to compare the serval to a german shepard is like comparing a Tank to a Nuclear missile and saying the tank can cause as much destruction.
i'm glad someone here isn't completely ignorant. i've seen Shepherds get attacked by much larger rottweilers and dobermans. before you know it the shepherd has the other dog by the neck and the fight is over. there is usually no beating their intelligence when the shepherd is on his guard.
Thats not a German Shepherd...
It’s the old sibling game: “ok STOP , TIME OUT ( 😈 psych! _nom nom nom_ ) , ok now stop for real… 😏 “
