UPDATED I would like to put here some suggestions for features I need as well as some gathered from other people: - could you please add the quick eyedropper in the pop up window above the canvas, with the grid and reference window for easy access? - the selection tool (lasso/magic wand) need an anti-aliasing option because the edges look rough and jagged, - add the ability to use liquify tool for the whole folder, - add the ability to put brushes in a folder (to be sorted more easily), - add the ability to put colors in a folder (to be sorted more easily), - add search bar for brushes and the material tools, (WE DESPERATELY NEED THIS) - add a stamp brush and/ or the ability to load our own png in the "brush shapes" settings, - add drag and drop feature for bucket tool - add the ability to use filter tool for the whole folder - add the ability to import an image and turn it into a color pallet - add animation feature If anyone wants to add other suggestions let me know and I'll add them to the list and comment in the future
@@Daydream-247 That's kinda how I would like it to work. You draw a thing, save it as png and then load it in the "brush pattern" window, in the "shape " category. After you just play around with the settings as you want.
YES THIS, Also! The option to personalize the tool bar, like, I would like to add the flip canvas option to my tool bar, because going to the canvas setting and then clicking on the flip option is too much time consuming (or maybe I'm just lazy) not to mention sometimes I missclick and end up rotating the canvas instead (or maybe they could add a short cut/gesture to flip the canvas) ALSO, WE NEED TO ZOOM IN THE REFERENCE WINDOW, PLEASE SOMETIMES I NEED TO SEE A SPECIFIC PART OF THE DRAWING BUT CAN'T SEE IT, AND I CAN'T MAKE THE REFERENCE WINDOW BIGGER BECAUSE IT'LL TAKE MY ENTIRE WORK PLACE
A feature where we can import our own brush patterns like changing the head and texture of the brush using png files from our gallery would be a game changer for ibisPaint x. I hope you'll consider this as a part of the next update thank you.
I think it would be really helpful if there was an option to import an PNG image as a brush texture (brush pattern), this helps to speed up the work of drawing many repeated details and it also helps to give more unique aspects to the brushes.
You should add more dry brushes!! I’d love to experiment with backgrounds that look painted but I can’t get any good dry brushes. You could also just add the ability to insert a custom image for the brush pattern! That would solve a lot of problems. I can think of a lot of brushes I’d make and it would very much expand the creation of brushes!!
These features are a great improvement!! Could we have the ability to create custom brushes/stamp brushes with our own pictures next? There are some textures I can't replicate quite how I wanted with what's provided.

I really wish that there will be a feature that allows you to use the mirror tool and transform tool at the same time 😭 Since it's hard to use it for a purpose where I need to move a specific shape or drawing on both sides of the mirror tool, It can also be disabled tho since there are also instances where it isn't necessary :'>
Thank you for the constant improvements! I've been using the app for over 2 years now. I love the insanely wide variety of materials but it's getting harder to look for the ones i need. Can we please have a search function for materials?
Undoubtedly the overall best drawing app for mobile. It really does deserve full 5 star ratings. Also, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you maybe add some animation functionality? Just a basic multi-frame approach would be more than enough. Thanks!

It is beautiful how every update is something that we need as artists or make easier & less frustrated when drawing😭💖✨ I've been drawing on Ibis paint since 2019 & I really think that this got better & better
Great update and amazing art program! I've been using Ibis Paint for 8-17 hours every day for over a year now and have improved my art drastically in that time. Two features that would make workflow more efficient/enjoyable would be: 1) An on screen toggle button that switches between the paint bucket and the eyedropper. 2) A strike through eraser. Another art program has an eraser function where let's say you draw an "X" shape. Then with the eraser function, you draw a single line that touches one of the extensions of the X. It will erase the extension up to where it meets the rest of the shape. This function is amazing for building up line confidence because it allows users to "draw through" with all of their lines because they can erase all of the excess in a single stroke of the eraser function. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort, Ibis Paint team!
Also if we could lock the reference window that would be great. Since we're working on a small screen made even smaller with the reference window open, it would be great to be able to lock it's size so we don't keep dragging it's size way bigger/smaller when we just want to navigate our canvas quickly.
I think you can already do the second one with the lasso tool. All you have to do is select opacity of the shape you drew and choose to either invert selection or leave it as is, then you can: 1. Draw lines on top of your shape while the excess lines that are out of bounds of the shape get automatically erased. Or 2. Erase parts of the inside of the shape while not erasing anything outside of it. Not sure if this is what you were looking for
I would like if yall add categorized brushes, like a category for watercolors, hard brushes, blending, pencils, textures, etc. And the user Is free to modify the categorys, like change the name and the brushes in it. Like groups of pencils that you can close or open... It's a little annoying having to scroll all the way up of down for a specific brush, and it would be more organized. Also optimize the app lol
Yes! That's what I need as well. There should be an option for making folders so we can categorize brushes. And a search option for brushes and materials so it'll be easier to find them.
Idk if I'm the only one experiencing this but the app is glitching. Everytime I flip the canvas with two layers one of them just starts glitching a lot and doesn't go back to normal. I have tried turning my phone completely off and uninstalling the app but it still doesn't work. I also don't know who to contact for help qwq
We're not the only one💀 Some few people including me are experiencing the same bug rn!! Someone said its because of the new version updated on december 22, unfortunately, theres no way to fix it until ibis paint patch and fix the bug. Lets just hope for them to fix it as soon as possible! Mines auto updated so im crying rn😭

I have a request!! I dont know if its because of me or anything - Whenever I flip my layer the drawing suddenly stratches so wide and i cant even redo it The drawing I worked hours on- I couldnt work on it and had to leave it. 😢 Could you maybe try to fix it ( fixed now ) thanks a bunch

Is there a chance albums can be added to the gallery? I have so much different art from many different things, it’s hard to scroll through them all and organizing manually is a bit tedious 😖
The next version update should revamp the UI/Menu and maybe fix the stabilizer i think?? Either way this update is very good and fix ALOTS of common problems, thanks ibis

You can use custom brushes, when you go to the brush area I think it says "online" at the top of the brush selection where it takes you to the website and you can use Qr codes to use custom brushes.

you can do this by playing around with brush files, but we really need a way to do this in the actual app

CMKYでイラストを描けるようになったり、アニメーションも作れるようになったり、クリスタのように様々なポーズの3D人形をダウンロードして扱ったりなどもできるようになると便利です。

→レイヤー1にレイヤー2をクリッピングしたときのレイヤー2の範囲を適用して、レイヤー3をクリッピングできるようにして欲しいです！現段階でもできることにはできますが、面倒な手順を踏まなくてはいけないので……
・衣服素材の追加・背景(特に気候)素材の追加
・強制入り抜きの強制力(強弱)の調整をできるように
・レイヤー名を常に表示
・フォルダに一気にレイヤーを収めたい(レイヤー5〜27を収める！みたいに)
・パレットのカラーに名前を付けたい(♯FFF8F2=「肌色」みたいに)
・マイギャラリーにある作品は、他作品を開いているとき、写真に保存しなくても参照ウィンドウで見れるようにしたい
クリッピングにクリッピングはどのペイントアプリでもフォルダと組み合わせる必要がありますね。クリッピングのアルゴリズムはどのアプリも同じになっていて、なっていないと別アプリにデータを持っていったときに互換性がなくなってしまうのですよね。

Can I suggest an option? I wanna to exist an "easy/direct seach" in the Material Tools, instead looking for all sections. Like Google, but with the materials

Whenever I flip my layer the drawing suddenly stratches so wide and i cant even redo it
The drawing I worked hours on- I couldnt work on it and had to leave it. 😢

Is there a chance albums can be added to the gallery? I have so much different art from many different things, it’s hard to scroll through them all and organizing manually is a bit tedious 😖
The next version update should revamp the UI/Menu and maybe fix the stabilizer i think??

please add custom brushes like procreate!!
You can use custom brushes, when you go to the brush area I think it says "online" at the top of the brush selection where it takes you to the website and you can use Qr codes to use custom brushes.

I would love to be able to organize the drawings in my gallery into folders! That way I dont have to scroll so far to find what i need.
