Glad my getting dunked on during this was valuable 😅 For real though, highly recommend signing up for something like this. Practice kind you play. I'll feel so much more ready if and when I get the opportunity to interview with b-schools.
I think John is right here - I haven’t met a single MBA candidate above the age of 31/32 from Wharton, LBS, or Kellogg. The ones who are older tend to be MDs, PHDs, or JDs. LBS is a sucker for young regional MBBs/Bulge Brackets wanting to relocate to London. Wharton is gonna be too elitist for this guy.
Ended up with a full ride, friends :)
To which school?
Congratulations!
Congratulations! May we know which school? It would be valuable for other 30+ applicants!
University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
Thanks for the update
As a person in his mid-30s who is also seeking an MBA, this was very valuable.

Sandy, thanks so much for that honesty level. Charlie and John thanks so much for sharing, incredibly useful.
Great insights. I’m over 40 and looking to get into business school 2023. There’s nothing stopping me. We’re all unique and have different stories.
Man still apply to Wharton. Don’t select yourself out! Let them do that for you. The worst that could happen is you lose $250!
Nice. Exactly got what I was looking for.
Hi
How about Harvard Business School?
How do they view older candidates?
Thank you!
“Just a bunch of geezers getting together” LOL Sandy is a savage
super valuable
