My thoughts exactly! A lot of people draw her as Taako but with long hair, curves, and eyelashes. Here she definitely looks identical to her brother in her face and body but her mannerisms are absolutely feminine. I like that she looks very sporty and tomboyish, even in some ways more masculine than her brother is. I liked this character immensely and you captured her beautifully.

I just today listened to this scene for the first time and I just....wept. Like fully I couldn’t contain the joy and other deep deeeeppp emotions that this relationship inspires in me. I just noticed the crew in the back of the audience when it comes time for the applause and Magnus has tears in his eyes and aaaaaaaah this is so good!
There are so many great details, just wow. I love Magnus being the most dressed up at the ceremony and also the guy who shouts and waves the loudest from the audience when he spots his friends. Flashback-Taako's face when Barry calls Lup away nicely sums up that shift from him being her only family to him realizing Lup has someone else now, too. (And he doesn't. Yet.) The transition with the map to the diagram to the violin was super nice. The anime face on the whiteboard. Also "Barry is always nervous" lmao. So many little choices in the animation and expression make this whole thing incredible.

The frame where Lup and Barry are sitting together, and they place their foreheads against each other’s,,, and the way you drew when they were about to kiss, like they had been holding these feelings back for a long time and were unsure of whether to ignite the flame, it portrays nervousness mixed with exhilaration, the feeling of a first kiss that feels like you’re lighting a fire within. I’m sorry it’s just the way it was drawn makes me 😩👌👌 which I haven’t felt in so long it’s sO GOOD

I just finished Balance a few weeks ago. This scene stood out the most to me within Stolen Century (wholly discounting the final episode, because wow aint that a cluster of feels). Right from the get-go of TSC did I realize just how wonderful a character Griffin created in Lup. Seeing her care about their fight against the Hunger, every time, to interact with Barry, and to see them fall in love, and to see all of this culminated in a masterful piece of storytelling of a love deeper than time should ever be able to allow (and to know what comes _next_ ) makes this scene so fantastic. You've represented it gorgeously. (and the cherry on top is absolutely both comedy bits at the end. Taako's smile is precious and so are the boys poking fun at Griffin.)
The part when it switches from the THB to all seven of them and Taako goes from holding the Umbrella to running, but it looks like he's holding Lup's arm, made me tear up. Like he was with his sister the whole time. This is such an amazing animatic, and almost exactly as I imagined it when listening to this part for the first time

I just went through a really rough breakup this month. And I started listening to TAZ around the same time my relationship started falling apart. I just today listened to this scene for the first time and I just....wept. Like fully I couldn’t contain the joy and other deep deeeeppp emotions that this relationship inspires in me. What a beautiful scene! And you animated it so well!
When in first listened to this portion of the zone cast it made me cry. Seeing that someone was able to capture my favorite moment in the balance arc with such profound beauty made me cry again. Thank you for this. It’s remarkable.

There are so many great details, just wow. I love Magnus being the most dressed up at the ceremony and also the guy who shouts and waves the loudest from the audience when he spots his friends. Flashback-Taako's face when Barry calls Lup away nicely sums up that shift from him being her only family to him realizing Lup has someone else now, too. (And he doesn't. Yet.) The transition with the map to the diagram to the violin was super nice. The anime face on the whiteboard. Also "Barry is always nervous" lmao. So many little choices in the animation and expression make this whole thing incredible.

The frame where Lup and Barry are sitting together, and they place their foreheads against each other’s,,, and the way you drew when they were about to kiss, like they had been holding these feelings back for a long time and were unsure of whether to ignite the flame, it portrays nervousness mixed with exhilaration, the feeling of a first kiss that feels like you’re lighting a fire within.
I’m sorry it’s just the way it was drawn makes me 😩👌👌 which I haven’t felt in so long it’s sO GOOD

I just finished Balance a few weeks ago. This scene stood out the most to me within Stolen Century (wholly discounting the final episode, because wow aint that a cluster of feels). Right from the get-go of TSC did I realize just how wonderful a character Griffin created in Lup. Seeing her care about their fight against the Hunger, every time, to interact with Barry, and to see them fall in love, and to see all of this culminated in a masterful piece of storytelling of a love deeper than time should ever be able to allow (and to know what comes _next_ ) makes this scene so fantastic.
You've represented it gorgeously.
(and the cherry on top is absolutely both comedy bits at the end. Taako's smile is precious and so are the boys poking fun at Griffin.)

The part when it switches from the THB to all seven of them and Taako goes from holding the Umbrella to running, but it looks like he's holding Lup's arm, made me tear up. Like he was with his sister the whole time. This is such an amazing animatic, and almost exactly as I imagined it when listening to this part for the first time

This is so gorgeous!!! I'm crying! I forget sometimes how much I love the smaller scenes like these (small in comparison to clips like Lup's Return, bc holy fuck is this a good moment) and I end up crying and smiling at my computer like a madwoman
