I think the funniest one is that they had Danielle and Amanda redo the idol clue fight on HvV, they put in respectable performances but you can tell Colby was super annoyed by it
Remember how extra Jeff was in Survivor 46 about never lying to the players. I specifically remember Moriah talking in confessionals about how Jeff would never lie to the players, and it’s off putting to hear how Probst is just trying to bury the hourglass controversy from 41 & 42 Jeff should’ve just acknowledged he messed up
That first clip of Keith at 1:23 is one of my favorites ❤ he goes on to name even more stuff after the cruise that he likes to do… I always found Keith so funny. RIP
I DID NOT knew about the constant health checks! I remember Coach refusing a health check as "they would remove me if they check my health". Which lead me to believe that doctors do anything only when asked by players... but of course times had changed, such thing as caring about players health changed too.
Yeah it's uncertain when this started. Definitely by Kaoh Rong as they mention it in the merge episode...Malcolm talks about it too, but beyond that it's unclear.
The latest season lied to us about having a castaway named Genevieve. If she was there on Lavo all along, where was she in the first three episodes??? :P
Thanks very much! I didn't convey it perfectly but after the buff flies off, it then appears to be around his neck again in the next shot (or at least I've always assumed it's colby in the next shot...kind of hard to tell when they're covered in mud...)
@@HenryHickmanSurvivor Good point. Upon a rewatch it looks like they may have had Colby put it back on to avoid it being a tripping hazard and possibly have a win, loss, or injury happen as a result of it being on the ground. But them not showing that does make you go hmm...
I've known about the aerial shots forever because common sense. As long as the players decide who goes, i dont care what production does. Well, except for the Ben bombs.
For sure, I think a lot of these moments could be summed up as "common sense that you just try not to think about"! Ben bombs I certainly try not to think about...
I was gonna say that while your point about editing out of order stands, Colby's buff is actually not proof of that, you can actually see it fly off his head (somehow?) at about 6:19, but then I noticed he *didn't* have one around his neck prior to about 6:24 and then *did* 🤣
@@HenryHickmanSurvivorMost of these challenges that are 1 on 1 are usually done best out of 3 style for each point. So they probably just spliced two or three rounds together.
Wait, did I just learn the most crucial information? You visited Europe and didn't come say hi to me? Koh Lanta is on Tuesdays, you needed ONE night off lmao
@@HenryHickmanSurvivor ...which... let's face it, is a bummer. France is number 2 worldwide in terms of seasons. So it should have been your number one pick outside of English-speaking UK haha, which by the way, isn't great at producing SV lol. But hey they gave it a try, I give them that haha
@@Foudroyant20 It was indeed a bummer. Germany: Nothing Italy: Some weird celebrity thing for 2 seasons Switzerland: Nothing Maybe I'm bad at looking but it was a sad time
Another shot that was way out of order is the scene Hunter is dissing Venus at the boats, and Q jumps in saying she's unkillable. In Hunter's post vote out interview, he said that was shot after the immunity challenge. But it was shown to us before they went to the challenge. Which also explains Venus' dialogue they kept in. Narratively it fits still. I think it's all fine. If you ever even take a lot of photos to share on Instagram, you start to realize you need to present things in a way so it looks better and you don't want unorganized chaos. Something you can't really afford with a television show you can only allocate about 13 hours of their endless hours of footage they have. But I think all reality shows need something like the Survivor Fire podcast, because people like me want to know the reality as well as the presented story.
Yeah I think the lies are a necessity to keep the show interesting. It's fun to think about how Survivor the game and Survivor the show are two different beasts, but ultimately as long as it makes for a good story and isn't harmful, I don't mind being lied to (by Survivor).
This is really off topic but its gonna drive ever kiwi survivor fan nuts. Survivor NZ Thailands finale aka the season that got survivor nz cancelled. Got more views than the season of Celebrity Treasure island reviewed on average. Survior NZ S2 Finale - 107,000 viewers. Celebrity Treasure Island: Te Waipounamu - 77,100 viewers on average. Heroes vs Villains is great for these, including Boston Rob's "It's getting the best of me" scene.
Comedy gold!

I agree with the first part, but Jeff can host as long as he wants. It will only get funnier
EagerTurtle needs to get on a compilation of "Times Jeff Lied to the Players", it's probably a lot!

Exactly, and people keep saying someone named Sol exists? That seems unlikely.

Great video, but you can see at 06:15 when Colby's buff falls off mid fight.

I often think where is the camera man in the wide shot
Either the camera man managed to turn invisible or it's a reshoot with stand-ins. Absolutely devastating.

It's truly all over the place. That buff flies off his head, and then teleports around his neck, what's going on??

I can corroborate in HvV that Jerri and Parvati were the final 2, not Rupert and Parvati. I think it was a Colby interview
Thank you! That bit of trivia has been rattling in my brain for over a decade and I've found zero sources backing it up
