Hi - I am hearing some words pronounced differently than I'm used to--for example: I have always pronounced "llevo" as "YAY-vo" but here it is pronounced "JAY-vo." For the Spanish word "Ya" I have always said "Yah" but here it is pronunced "Jah." Can you explain why these words are pronounced as they are here?
English is my first language but I have looked into this. It appears to be a regional dialect matter. In Columbia, “lluvia” sounds like “Jew-bee-ah”, a softer “J” than we say in English. In parts of Mexico, “LL” sounds like the English “Y.” My Spanish classes taught that pronunciation. Some you tube Spanish teachers explain this.
Hi, new patreon member here. Just downloaded anki on my phone and imported the deck. There were only something like 13 flashcards, are they released daily?

Fantástico. Lo que quiera - hearing it sufficiently repeated to catch it from the other room while doing chores. Me encanta. Gracias.

Most of these phrases have a 1 for 1 translation from Spanish to English.
Translator: Nah, let's go with close enough.
Muy bueno!
Are these being spoken by a person or computer AI?
I suspect computer since there is no difference between a statement and a question.
