So many RUclipsrs I've seen play this are all like "But he's right though." Eliot's character, and this scene in particular, perfectly displays mental and emotional abuse. "I'm the only one who cares about you. I was the only one who was there for you. I don't want to hurt you, but you're the one who's making me. Why do you want me to suffer? Why are you putting me through all this? You're lucky I'm here for you." Those are all things that abusers say to guilt their victims and emotionally manipulate them to stay under their control.
@@danielzaba9913 let me explain Eliot's mind to everyone...he is one of the FEW people who doesn't like Rachel Amber...and in a way he is actually right...but he is way over the line in his behaviour. he is convinced that all Chloe's bad behaviour is Rachel's fault: Chloe goes out to a concert with rachel and gets into a fight...she gets a black eye. chloe skips school with rachel and chloe gets expelled...and rachel gets off without any punishment (at least that is how he sees it). the fact you tried to defend Rachel and threw yourself to the wolves to get expelled he feels only proves his point... then he feels you almost end up in hospital because of the knife attack...and rachel did. he feels "that could have been you". in Eliot's mind Chloe is blinded by her feelings for Rachel and Rachel away with everything while Chloe gets in trouble...he obviously is a bit unstbale and has the hots for Chloe too...but Eliot isn't ENTIRELY wrong...Rachel did kind of manipulate Chloe. if you want to understand this better there is a WHOLE video about the "Was Eliot Right?" situation

Eliot is so entitled and jealous, he was that typical “nice guy” before but this scene really made me think he was psycho. His infatuation with Chloe isn’t centered around her or how she feels it’s centered around himself and what he thinks he deserves for the time he’s spent with her.
I’m glad Warren wasn’t like Elliot he was really sweet and understanding a little dumb and clueless, but he had pure intentions and I’m glad he was such a good friend to Max. Warren is one of my favorite LIS characters.

We learn In the first game that Frank and Rachael had a thing going on, but that's not shown in the new game. What happened between Rachel getting out of the hospital and her getting drugged. It's not shown what happens and is just skipped over. It makes me believe that there's something more and that there's going to be a new game revolving around that time. Revolving around frank and Rachaels relationship and how she was actually lured into that lair. There's still mystery. She was said to be all over and hooked up with people yet it's not shown in the new game... I think a new Life Is Strange is in the works.

I'm skeptical of her too. I actually had a friend just like that when I was younger. She was always demanding and always tried to pressure me into doing sokethiing wrong... I later found out in highschool that she was talking behind my back so in reality she was never actually my friend. Maybe that's the case here. My ex friend was a great manipulator and pretended to like things that other people did to fit into a crowd.
Eliot’s character is the perfect definition of a creep, he is right calling out how Rachel treats Chole but he followed her into Rachel’s house and tried to emotionally manipulate Chole into believing that he’s an angel. “I was there when Max left”, “Nobody gave/gives a shit about you”, “Be grateful for me!” These are the words of someone trying to get the other person to believe that they are all alone while making themselves look like the good guy who stayed by that person’s side, like a dog who didn’t want to be called a dog and wanted to be called a friend. If Eliot wasn’t too bossy and/or avoided looking like he was spiralling out of control, he could’ve actually pulled it off. Locking the room, spiralling and giving forceful hug isn’t okay.

Read what it says about the weaknesses of her sign on that astrology chart in her room then look for them throughout the prequel. Pay close attention to what she says and what she does and question how she knows certain "things" she shouldnt know about. Its easy to overlook these details when youre too busy being infatuated with her charm, as William mentions in Chloe's dreams

Exactly, Federico... people complain about the story being weird, but the whole point of the game is to investigate people and find out shit about them so that you can make the right decision when the time comes... Like in the first LIS game where if you go through Kate's room you can find her Dad's sympathetic letter, then her mum's letter scorning her, then the bible passages in her notebook etc, all help you make the right decisions when she's on the roof. I mean the whole point about Rachel is that that's who she is, she studies people so that she can manipulate them.

His reaction to you hanging out with Rachel and the way he frequently seeks your attention were kind of odd by themselves, but after Samuel commented how he couldn't see Elliot's true nature like he usually does with people and finding the poems about Chloe, I knew something like this was going to happen in the final episode.

Not really. Rachel and Chloe were both truly close even if Rachel fucked up, but Elliot made it out to be like Rachel didn't care, like she was twisting Chloe around her fingers, manipulating her for her own desires and bringing her down when it wasn't like that. The way Elliot was acting was out of line. Not only did he put his hands on Chloe, but he trapped her in a room against her will and treated her in an aggressive, abusive way and said abusive shit to her until he heard what he wanted to hear from her. He's not "poor" he's an asshole.

And Rachel didn't betray Chloe, Chloe's original VA said the crush was one sided, Chloe was bi, Rachel wasn't. Yes I know, you can kiss in this game, but I'm part of the like 14% that decided to stay canon and choose bracelet over kiss, but that's just semantics. Chloe felt betrayed because she, like her emotions are in a constant whirl of complex tempestuousness. That's just my two cents on it.

Read what it says about the weaknesses of her sign on that astrology chart in her room then look for them throughout the prequel. Pay close attention to what she says and what she does and question how she knows certain "things" she shouldnt know about. Its easy to overlook these details when youre too busy being infatuated with her charm, as William mentions in Chloe's dreams

Exactly, Federico... people complain about the story being weird, but the whole point of the game is to investigate people and find out shit about them so that you can make the right decision when the time comes... Like in the first LIS game where if you go through Kate's room you can find her Dad's sympathetic letter, then her mum's letter scorning her, then the bible passages in her notebook etc, all help you make the right decisions when she's on the roof. I mean the whole point about Rachel is that that's who she is, she studies people so that she can manipulate them.

Nah, I saw this coming by the episode 2. His reaction to you hanging out with Rachel and the way he frequently seeks your attention were kind of odd by themselves, but after Samuel commented how he couldn't see Elliot's true nature like he usually does with people and finding the poems about Chloe, I knew something like this was going to happen in the final episode.

In my opinion, the creators pushed him (Elliot) there to make a fuss. This scene was completely unnecessary to anyone! Who wants Elliot and Chloe in a relationship? They talked to each other several times, Chloe never felt anything more for him, and she described it in her journal similarly! At this point, the guy wanted to show how much he cares about her, and in the end he turned out to a freak who can't come to terms with being rejected by a girl who doesn't want him anyway!

Not really. Rachel and Chloe were both truly close even if Rachel fucked up, but Elliot made it out to be like Rachel didn't care, like she was twisting Chloe around her fingers, manipulating her for her own desires and bringing her down when it wasn't like that.
The way Elliot was acting was out of line. Not only did he put his hands on Chloe, but he trapped her in a room against her will and treated her in an aggressive, abusive way and said abusive shit to her until he heard what he wanted to hear from her. He's not "poor" he's an asshole.

Nah, Eliot was a psycho. I get where he was coming from and that's OK, but where he went with it, wasn't. And Rachel didn't betray Chloe, Chloe's original VA said the crush was one sided, Chloe was bi, Rachel wasn't. Rachel of course knew but as her friend didn't want to hurt her as evidenced by the undelivered letter she wrote to Chloe in the first game. Yes I know, you can kiss in this game, but I'm part of the like 14% that decided to stay canon and choose bracelet over kiss, but that's just semantics. I'm only using that as a reference point on my opinion as to why I think Rachel didn't betray Chloe. Chloe felt betrayed because she, like her emotions are in a constant whirl of complex tempestuousness. That's just my two cents on it.
It wasn't really betrayal, Rachel just made a mistake that costed her life. Elliot on the other hand, is being physically aggressive and threatening her. It was one thing when he was just keeping his crush on her to himself. But what he is doing is unacceptable. Elliot is a punk.
