Fun tidbit about cylooping The End (Supreme): you can Cyloop it TWICE to make it even more vulnerable (you still gotta perfect parry the spheres). at the end of the vulnerability of the second cyloop, Sonic snaps his fingers and causes the gravity rings to crush Supreme. THAT is more awesome than that MUI shit Super Sonic pulled off XD

In terms of hype as fuck boss battles HELL FUCKING YEAH! In terms of control as normal sonic when platforming... I still think the adventure games hold up a bit better. I hate how when you try to turn mid air during a jump it does this stupid heavy as fuck half circle shit. Really makes platforming a chore. But the super sonic fights are 100% 420/69 hype as fuck! 🤘🤘🤘
dude the ending was so hype for me I'm literally trying to earn it in extreme mode off of my 100% file but *god* if you don't capture the raw hype of this battle
Yeah that losing animation is not a scripted scene, if you failed to parry the spheres on the second phase you get that scene. But, if you're below 100 rings, it's instant death. If you parry all the spheres, you don't get that scene
This is definitely the best Sonic game in the franchise. Everything done in the past every game every show, it led to this game right here. I pray they keep elevating to whatever ideas they will come up with.
You wanna cyloop this boss and then cyloop it again manually so you don’t punch it. It basically gets a shield after the first cyloop. Afterwards wait to counter its five balls and finally start wailing on him. You won’t be disappointed. I love the difficulty curve in these bosses. The first is a power trip, the second one teaches you to keep parrying in mind and adds in puzzle elements to speed up the process, the third is a puzzle that spells out its answer with its first qte, the fourth is a puzzle with changes in attacks to catch you off guard, and the end is a full on confusing puzzle that wants you to try out everything. I first hit its cable after trying out the dodge attack where Sonic changes directions a lot and after seeing the cable I knew to look for its gun since every other fight had a bunch of places to hit them (the shoulders and gut) while this one only had the head so I flew around to find anything else.
"What can they even do next?" Well, I thought the exact same thing after DoomsDay Zone, then thought that after Perfect Chaos, then thought that after Final Hazard, then thought after Metal Overlord, then thought that after Perfect Dark Gaia. Don't worry, Bro. I've learned that when Sonic Team isn't held back by bad writers (*cough*Pontac and Graff*cough*) they've always got something peak planned.
The only problem I have with this fight is that I fought it 2 hours because I didn’t know what to do thats why I am actually not a big fan of the fight and actually prefer the main games ending over this one and of course this was only my experience with the final boss I don’t want to talk it bad
The only thing that sucks about Final Horizon’s The End is that it doesn’t tell you straight up how to fight it. You only get that info if you 100% Final Horizon. That is so bullshit, lol. It’s actually so dumb.
