FYI....the side hip skirts fold in half and tuck under ,not sure why or if its intentional but it does make lifting the legs out to the side a little better
FYI, the reason the legs keep "springing" apart from the face is because the hip skirts are not properly situated. At 35:13 when you collapse the hips down under the helmet, the hip skirts need to be positioned in an upside down "L" that hugs the top of the head completely flush (your hip skirts seem to be folded up, which is incorrect). That will give you the clearance to collapse the hips under the helmet without paint rub and the extra wiggle room you need to get the legs to secure into the tabs on the side of the face.

Another good release from FT. I get it but it is the Japanese variant, being plain, who knows they may cater to the American cartoon if the demand is there. For a simple design the engineering is clever and paint great as normal. I like the more natural hands and that there is a more distinctive connection between the headmaster and the body and it’s good to see the old school mechanism for the chest stats. You can just pull the grey chest panel of the chest down to see the stats rather then the entire chest panel. The Fort Max head looks great with clever accessories to give the face a more G1 toy style, and I’m looking forward to getting my copy. The fact that we could/are going to get the body is amazing and FT should be commended for it, but for me and I suspect many others space is an issue not just the height but how wide and the depth of the robot mode. I just don’t have the space which is a shame but at the same time I don’t have much of a connection with the character, Metroplex and Scorponok I have more connection with so if or when they give those a go I will be tempted.
Funny my Hannibal was delayed because FT has to send BBTS that one hand. I didn't think I was going to get this guy because it would lead to me getting the rest if it ever comes out. I'm fine if the body never comes out with Unicron already taking up space where would I put a 50 inch toddler of a transformer 😂
the reviewer couldnt understand why the whole chest part had to come down to see the display in chest for power level....the grey panel on chest opens up so you dont have to open the whole chest part
7:24 you talked about the sword only having a peg on one side of the handle so he has to be right handed, can't you just turn the sword around to get the peg for the left hand?
If you mean the G1 toy, sort of. He could transform into a weird 3rd mode that plugged into Fort Max chest but I don’t think that was part of the show.

No you can’t because it’s off center. I guess you count have him hold it in his left hand upside down
