What a beautiful commemoration for your little friend. My heart aches for you. So sorry for your loss. I will miss him too as I was intrigued with your unusual pet and found him so adorable. Your embroidery is impeccable!
I too recently started watching your channel and my daughter and I were very taken with your little friend. You gave her such a wonderful life and in turn she enriched yours. I wish peace for you. ❤️
Thank you for this beautiful tribute to your sweet rabbit. I too had the surprising gift of a little rabbit eight years ago and he lived with me in our lounge area downstairs. He loved to gaze out of the window at the birds in the trees and the clouds floating by. This gentle creature so different to the cats and dogs I used to have really touched my heart, he wouldn't stay in his cage and preferred to be free in the lounge area. He did become unwell four years after I adopted him. When he died I felt very sad and I missed his presence for a long time. A rabbit is indeed a special companion and you gave your dear rabbit a wonderful life. Sending you blessings.
I have just started watching you and I loved your little rabbit. I am so very sorry. We lost our dog 2 months ago and it is very hard to recover I cried watching this episode .. Such a sweet creature. You are so talented I am amazed at your abilities and that pillow is stunning and she is on the sofa with you always.
I'm here sobbing as you stitch your beautiful bunny friend. Thank you for sharing a little view of life with her. She was well loved and cherished, both in life and in death. I hope you're able to think of her and smile....if not yet, one day in the near future. 🐇
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who was crying for the loss of a dear little friend I've never met but wish I did. It's such a beautiful way to remember a life.
You just popped up on my RUclips. I can totally relate to your relationship and loss...to even put her in a box with fresh flowers. I was a kindergarten teacher in NYC and the director told all the teachers that we were getting rabbits! I was horrified...not having a clue about rabbits. I chose the biggest gray bunny instead of the cute little ones. The kids called him Jumper. A parent built him a huge hutch w 3 rooms about 4' high and 3' wide. He was out all day except at night hopping around the room to the delight of the children and me. Every day another child was assigned to bring him fresh food, weekends and holidays he went home with one of the children. Oh I could go on about all the fun we had watching him slowing eating & enjoy a carrot or a pear. Comice pears were his favorite. After 7 yrs, due to an unfortunate incident at a child's home, he died. Like you I was just devastated...I loved that little guy so much. Time heals all wounds, but my classroom was never the same without him. We buried him w flowers and an apron that a class had given me with all the children's handprints (30!). A parent build him a little coffin and some of the families and kids decorated it. I see you memorialized her with an embroidery. I painted and drew many pictures of him. Though I do not know you, I truly feel for you. Bunnies are so special. I have had cats and dogs, but honestly, little Jumper won my heart.
What a beautiful farewell. you will miss her but you can cherish the moments you had with her. With this you pay tribute to her in such a wonderful way❤
Sorry for your loss. She was a special little angel. I also had bunnies and cats and it is truly painful to loose them. Your little one was so attentive, affectionate and funny, reminded me my bunny. He also jumped up to our bed and loved to cuddle. I love your creativity and amazed by the beautiful pillow you just made with you bunny’s cute face. So loveable. I hope your husband already working on a new surprise😊
What a beautiful relationship you had with your bunny, and how happy and content she looks in all the footage of your life together! Your art to celebrate her is such a wonderful idea, so exquisitely done. So lovely to share your gift for creating beauty with her. When our little bunny Poppyseed died, we buried her tiny body and planted a buttonbush there. It is a beautiful part of our garden, thriving and green. When I have had to say goodbye to dear ones, I often think of these words by Mary Oliver: "To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go." 💚
So sorry that your little bunny has left but is only over the rainbow 🌈 and will remain forever in your heart. Your cushion is beautiful, your memories will always hold dear.
Sad but lovely little video with some amazing embroidery. When I was at school more than 60 years ago I bought a buck Old English rabbit that I called Pompey after a very funny dog in a book called My Dog Pompey. I eventually added 2 does to the "warren" and bred them. Never made any money, but when ready to be weaned I used to wheel a litter in a cardboard box on a wheelbarrow the mile or so to the pet shop and then wheel a sack of food back that would keep the 3 coneys going until the next litter. The little black and white pups were beautiful and I'd let them out in the yard and as they got bigger they could jump amazingly high. No run up, just a pinggg and they were on top of a wall almost a metre high. Pompey was allowed in the house during the day, but had a habit of nibbling things, including a friend of parents' Gannex-style coat. Nice neat little half moons all round the hem :/ Rather a shock at 9.30 as my handle on Usenet is BrritSki !
I am so sorry for your loss, Erika. She was a beautiful little companion, and I loved listening how you talked about her and sharing your stories of her. The pillow you made is so beautiful and special, a lovely reminder of your dear little friend.
