Hi! I’m Erika,
a young woman who loves creating things out of various materials. I like to reuse and repurpose materials and items and feel inspired by the beauty and calmness of nature in my creative process.
I often get asked how I make the things that I make (from drawings to home decor to food). This made me come to the idea to film the process and put it on youtube.
I would like to inspire people to create, no matter what skill level they’re at; use the materials that they can find around them and get creative! But for those who don’t feel like creating I hope this channel might be a quiet place where they can hide from the busy world for a few minutes.
I hope that you end up finding what you look for in my content!
Have a lovely day!

Goodbye, little friend
In October, we found out that my little rabbit had cancer.
It had spread so fast that there was nothing we could do, other than making her last weeks as comfortable as possible. Early this month, she passed away.
In order to remember her and giving her a little forever spot in our sofa, i decided to embroider her image on a pillow.
This little bunny was gifted to me by my husband, seven years ago while we were on a long distance relationship. And since then, she has been by my side, accompanying me through many phases of my young adult life.
She was there when I wrote my master’s thesis, when I realized that the boy I was dating was the love of my life, when I got engaged, when I graduated, a...

Hello there! When I finished secondary school, I actually considered studying furniture design for a few months. I ended up not choosing that path since it was more the actual building of furniture that would interest me rather than the design-part of the studies. (At the end I choose a very different study that interested me a lot.) But now that I am starting to have my own tools, space and a ...

During these summer months the temperatures tend to vary between 30°C and 38°C during the day and between 30°C and 22°C at night. I grew up in a climate where 26°C degrees is already considered warm, so it has been quite an ajustment. But I managed to adapt to the warm temperatures. Taking it slow, and adapting my daily rithm. In this video you can see how a day at home looks like during the su...

Preparing for a slow Christmas

I always loved Christmas, as it is a very cozy holiday. But now as an adult I can easily get overwhelmed by stress in a month leading up to holidays. I have experienced before that the business makes me forget to enjoy the time leading up to Christmas and makes me feel like everything has been passing too quickly. So, these last few years I decided to prepare for the holidays more slowly and mi...

I am so sorry about the loss of your bunny friend.
I love this. When we lived in New England, one dull day after Christmas, stuck by snow, I decided to paint my dining room. My dear hubby was in the family room downstairs, and asked me what the soft pounding was for. Nothing, I said! I was actually sponging the walls with several colors to make it look old. I then painted a scene, houses, barns, churches, all the things in an old time. I worked my way around the room, with trees at 3’ tall or short at 5”. I had a great time. He came up for a drink and said wow, did u do this today? Yes, I did, and we loved it for years. A group of us did a similar in an old colonial home in town, called the Smith Harris House. Such fun. Now we’re in Florida and I painted two birds in a painted wreath above the front door. Now it’s gone and so are the roses and trim on my closet door. Very pretty but it was time to go. I guess I need change. enjoy your little birds . Such fun and a little design to thrill your dear hubby.
I am so sorry for the loss of your faithful little friend. Pets become family members and I know you are missing her. Your needlework is a lovely way to remember her.
How talented you are! These birds are a beautiful and creative addition to your home. ❤
I’m sorry to hear of the passing of your little rabbit. He brought me so much joy when I watched him. I would literally laugh out loud. When I saw this video I cried the whole time. I have lost special pets as well and one cat to cancer and it is so very hard. They are family to us. It will take time, but the pain will get better. I think making the pillow was so precious and a wonderful way to express your grief and love. I believe we will see our pets again in heaven where there is no more pain or death. I pray you find comfort from God during this time. Give yourself time to grieve, but don’t be afraid to get another pet. You can never replace your little bunny of course, but it does help with grief to have a new friend to love and care for. Also for me it has been better to keep two pets (we have cats); so they have each other as well and don’t get lonely when I’m not home. God bless you. I love your channel and will continue to support you. I’m from the US and wish I could know you in real life. You’re such a wonderful person. Take care.
😢❤
Very peaceful video. Your birds are so beautiful. My favorite are the Magpies. You could be a wall paper artist!
🧡
I love your channel, it’s calming and peaceful. You are so extremely talented, you’re blessed. Wishing you much peace, happiness and ❤️
If he notices, that means you’re crazy. If he doesn’t notice that means he is. 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful furbaby😢
Good morning, I am sorry to hear, that your friend has gone.Take care of yourself!
I am so sorry for your loss, Erika. She was a beautiful little companion, and I loved listening how you talked about her and sharing your stories of her. The pillow you made is so beautiful and special, a lovely reminder of your dear little friend.
You just popped up on my RUclips. I can totally relate to your relationship and loss...to even put her in a box with fresh flowers. I was a kindergarten teacher in NYC and the director told all the teachers that we were getting rabbits! I was horrified...not having a clue about rabbits. I chose the biggest gray bunny instead of the cute little ones. The kids called him Jumper. A parent built him a huge hutch w 3 rooms about 4' high and 3' wide. He was out all day except at night hopping around the room to the delight of the children and me. Every day another child was assigned to bring him fresh food, weekends and holidays he went home with one of the children. Oh I could go on about all the fun we had watching him slowing eating & enjoy a carrot or a pear. Comice pears were his favorite. After 7 yrs, due to an unfortunate incident at a child's home, he died. Like you I was just devastated...I loved that little guy so much. Time heals all wounds, but my classroom was never the same without him. We buried him w flowers and an apron that a class had given me with all the children's handprints (30!). A parent build him a little coffin and some of the families and kids decorated it. I see you memorialized her with an embroidery. I painted and drew many pictures of him. Though I do not know you, I truly feel for you. Bunnies are so special. I have had cats and dogs, but honestly, little Jumper won my heart.
❤
I too recently started watching your channel and my daughter and I were very taken with your little friend. You gave her such a wonderful life and in turn she enriched yours. I wish peace for you. ❤️
I’m so sorry to hear. 💔
😢
I am so sorry to hear about your rabbit passing away. I know that you will find comfort in knowing that he was loved and gave him a loving home. ❤
❤
Thank you for this beautiful tribute to your sweet rabbit. I too had the surprising gift of a little rabbit eight years ago and he lived with me in our lounge area downstairs. He loved to gaze out of the window at the birds in the trees and the clouds floating by. This gentle creature so different to the cats and dogs I used to have really touched my heart, he wouldn't stay in his cage and preferred to be free in the lounge area. He did become unwell four years after I adopted him. When he died I felt very sad and I missed his presence for a long time. A rabbit is indeed a special companion and you gave your dear rabbit a wonderful life. Sending you blessings.
What a beautiful experience, thank you for sharing! Have a lovely day, Caroline
I have just started watching you and I loved your little rabbit. I am so very sorry. We lost our dog 2 months ago and it is very hard to recover I cried watching this episode .. I'm here sobbing as you stitch your beautiful bunny friend. Thank you for sharing a little view of life with her. She was well loved and cherished, both in life and in death. I hope you're able to think of her and smile....if not yet, one day in the near future. 🐇
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who was crying for the loss of a dear little friend I've never met but wish I did. It's such a beautiful way to remember a life.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss. She was a special little angel. I also had bunnies and cats and it is truly painful to loose them. Your little one was so attentive, affectionate and funny, reminded me my bunny. He also jumped up to our bed and loved to cuddle. I love your creativity and amazed by the beautiful pillow you just made with your bunny’s cute face. So loveable. I hope your husband already working on a new surprise😊

Sad but lovely little video with some amazing embroidery. When I was at school more than 60 years ago I bought a buck Old English rabbit that I called Pompey after a very funny dog in a book called My Dog Pompey. I eventually added 2 does to the "warren" and bred them. Never made any money, but when ready to be weaned I used to wheel a litter in a cardboard box on a wheelbarrow the mile or so to the pet shop and then wheel a sack of food back that would keep the 3 coneys going until the next litter. The little black and white pups were beautiful and I'd let them out in the yard and as they got bigger they could jump amazingly high. No run up, just a pinggg and they were on top of a wall almost a metre high. Pompey was allowed in the house during the day, but had a habit of nibbling things, including a friend of parents' Gannex-style coat. Nice neat little half moons all round the hem :/ Rather a shock at 9.30 as my handle on Usenet is BrritSki !
Thank you for sharing your story!
So sorry that your little bunny has left but is only over the rainbow 🌈 and will remain forever in your heart. Your cushion is beautiful, your memories will always hold dear.
Thank you, Barrie!
What a beautiful farewell. you will miss her but you can cherish the moments you had with her. With this you pay tribute to her in such a wonderful way❤
