Dear Colette and Patsy, Thank you so much for sharing another of your lovely danders with the wee girl. Walking is such therapy for the body, mind, and soul. This vlog was something of a balm for the senses for me with the sounds of water and bird song in the background. You live in such a beautiful place, so rich with history and folklore. I loved seeing the contrast between your neighbours property and the extraordinary woodland garden you have co-created with Mother Earth. What potential is being missed on either side! It only goes to emphasise just how much you have achieved with empathy, drive, and determination since you moved there. Bright blessings to you and Patsy. Debs X
I've only just come across you so I'm doing catch up. I loved walking with you today and I'm so enjoying all the pottering about in the garden. I find your videos extremely peaceful and smiley. I have to have my first cup of tea ( around 4 am)in a Noggin the Nog mug given to me by my brother. It's big so just the job first thing. I don't like tea in a pottery mug - we all have our foibles and it makes us happy so why not? Hugs from Crete!
@@linpollock54 That's fine. I am fascinated by the Noggin the Nog mug. I remember Noggin from my early childhood. It's where my fascination with Scandinavian folklore and dragons came from! Tea is alwauys better in a mug. Have a good day.
Thanks for replying. I bought the NTN mug in a shop in London which specialised in Oliver Postgate character articles - muds, bowls etc. I gave it to my brother who gave it back to me as he never used it. Have you read Postgate's book ' Seeing Things'. It's wonderful. I also love dragons and believe they are real but now asleep. I studied Anglo Saxon at university and I'm sure my interest in all things Old English and Nordic are because of Noggin. So pleased to have met you. Hugs!
I'm almost 65 and find working in my yard. Walking with a bit of light weights is working great for me. I've dropped 10 pounds so far. It goes up and down but steadily on the downward side. A healthy retirement is what I want. Blessings to you and sweet Patsy.
Tip from someone nearly your age; Keto and Intermittent fasting IF) is the only thing that worked for me after decades of weight battles. It's super easy once you get a week or two past the sugar/carb cravings, plus it improves mood and joint pain. Combine with Dr. David Sinclair's supplement protocol (especially NMN) and you'll feel 25 years younger! Not kidding! Dr. Berg has some great videos on the subject. Totally changed my life; went from a size 14 US to a steady size 4.
Congratulations on your continued health success and Patsy is all the better for the activity too! I came back from my walk on my county road to watch your walk. It amazes me how much alike the walking views in rural West Virginia are to rural western Ireland. I have visited Ireland and felt the Irish immigrants who settled here had reason to feel a familiarity to this land. ❤

What a lovely video! The little smooth newt has adorable little feet. I never cease to be amazed how beautiful your land has become. Your flowers are just wonderful. Thank you for sharing!
My Nana Kitty ( who immigated from the Uk in the 1920's) walked daily, usually taking the neighbors dog with her. In and out of the stores downtown, past the channel and beach, a daily visit to the cemetary. If she had my cousin or I at her house, we went too. Snow, rain or shine - it made no difference. Now my daughter walks to releave her stress, she prefers wooded areas and it seems to relax her.
Very beautiful Colette. We had a newt in our pond last year, and yesterday I saw it again! Nothing else is in there unfortunately as we don't seem to have any frogs here. However, we live in hope! Thankyou for a lovely vlog.
So lovely to spend the morning walk with you. Love the prominent, perfect Oak tree. They hold so much history. To just imagine what they have witnessed over the years. I hope you and Patsy have a most wonderful day. 💚
Now, who would not click on a thumbnail like that!? Patsy too is so funny when she runs so fast and energetically her back feet don't seem to touch ground. If we could just bottle the joy for life that dogs possess!!!
Patsy! I love seeing her waddle around 🤗 The newt makes me think of the salamander symbolism (fire) depicted in the King of Wands tarot court-card. Maybe the newt will transform into a handsome man: King of Wands with water in his birth-chart ✨🧚🏼♂️✨ Beautiful countryside! 💚

Hello Colette it's a lovely time of year to take up walking again, I walk a lot always have done I don't have my own vehicle, public transport is with in easy walking distance from my home. If I want to go further afield. I average 2 miles each day I don't have a dog to walk. I enjoy walking through woodland and small lanes away from heavy traffic,I'm 73 in 4 weeks time, I have no intention of changing my habit of a lifetime. My gardens take a lot of my time early season but after that it pretty much takes care of itself container planting is a must a good mixture of no dig beds and plenty of trees and shrubs that I look after myself and when needed help my older neighbours with there' gardens too. Its in the genes as a Celtic pagan myself it's what keeps me healthy I grow my own cut and come again veg, and tomatoes I eat plant based only. I haven't had caffeine in over 40 years herbal teas only I'm a teetotal. Health is important whatever age . Male or female. Bird song alongside a stream ducks or swans or the occional Mandarin duck can often be seen on my walks along riverbanks, it's all there if one is prepared or has the time to enjoy Gaia's gifts to all. Keep on doing what you do so well Colette, inspiring and being your own person. Hugs and Blessings to you . 💚🌹

Thank you for the walk along the road. Look at your cottage nestled in among the trees like a fairytale! Mmmmm...I can smell all the shades of green! Absolutely wonderful!
It's perfect how you have complete privacy and the feeling of wilderness, but with neighbors somewhat close. I just love this life you've created for yourself, and long for that myself! I almost asked my husband last night if he would be willing to move to Ireland or Scotland in a few years... I think I'll wait until our finances are a little stronger, and it's a valid option. Pray for me! 😂
Ha! No truer words spoken regarding our Nature Centered Focus and disdain for made up rules handed down by human authority. I think of that way of being as healthy; belligerence towards Nonsense, Reverance for the Sacred. Beautiful holding! Thank you.
Hi Colette, oh what a glorious wonderland you live in!! The birdsong ~heavenly. With 1 of my lads when out walking him in the longlead I've found if he has his harness on, he doesn't get caught up in the rope, it's so wonderful😊, makes the walk so much nicer (he was always getting it wrapped around him). Thank you for sharing, I find watching your stories so relaxing (yet invigorating) & also VERY inspiring May you have a blessed day 🌸
What a great view from the roadside back to your woodland and cottage. I can just imagine a fox or mouse running through rushes and open fields suddenly seeing your cottage and woodland and heading that way for peace and protection. Amazing what you have done. Thank you for sharing

Good morning, Colette , Thank you for a beautiful stroll around where you live. The sun has come out here too in the small village of Pickenham Norfolk UK. Blessings to you and dear little Patsy ❤️ ❤

You look fantastic. I know this is a bit older video but I just love watching your older videos . I also thanks to you have lost some pounds. Eating very healthy and walking and lots of planting .
Congratulations - quite an accomplishment to lose 15 pounds. Patsy seems to run with you. Scenery beautiful. I have been trying 5-6 miles by end of each day and it really helps to keep pounds down. Blessings galore.
Sometimes, when I walk with my dog on his recall leash I wear a belt and pass the belt through the handle and secure it around my waist. That way I have both hands free but can quickly grab it if I need to stop him from going somewhere he shouldn't or if a car comes. Also, that handle can get heavy on a long walk so it saves my hands from aching.
I have tried several harness, but they all seem to slip on her as she pulls very strongly. My aim is to keep her safe at all times, as you can see from the landscape she is in that there are many scents to pick up and follow without, thought!
I loved when you used the words health recovery that was great, i also love my cup of tea, i said to my sister-in-law the the other day "Sometimes at night when im about to go to bed at night i get sad that i won't be having a cup of tea till morning " lol! Thank you for the lovely walk with you and Patsy, loved seeing the lizard 🙂
Lovely little lizard in your pond. It is so nice and peaceful there. Florida is an amazing natural place but imagine ten foot long critters like that in your pond and serpents of kinds. No bears either I guess, so tranquil and beautiful. Best Wishes!
Thank you, Colette and Patsy, for taking us along for the lovely walk! Such beautiful countryside to walk in and Bealtaine is looking prettier than ever! ❤

Hi Colette I recently (over the last 10mths) lost 28 kilos (61 pounds) by doing Intermittent Fasting and walking 10,000 steps a day. I’m also plant based like you. I’m also Celiac so I don’t eat wheat products. I feel amazing 🙌 I’ve gone beyond my goal weight and I’m now maintaining. I’m going to try my hardest not to put any of it back on as i know how easy it is to do at my age (64) As it’s now Winter in the SH I’m still getting out everyday and doing my daily steps regardless of the weather.
Beautiful! I always kept a harness on my Jack Russell while walking as he got knotted up in a leash like Miss Patsy😊 Thank you for sharing your land with us.
Congratulations on your weight loss and the health benefits from it. I wish I had a nice place for a walk. I have mobility issues and am at high risk for a fall. I'm also something of a tea snob as well. I think that the whole ritual of having tea is so relaxing. Waiting for the kettle to boil, steeping the leaves just so. The wonderful aroma of the leaves releasing their delicious flavor. I take my tea with a little bit of sugar and milk. The first sip is so soothing. I hope you enjoy your tea. Blessings to you and Patsy.
That was my first comment Colette. The brilliant greens of your Irish spring. How beautiful it all is with your flowers blooming ! ‘’Me and my ree’’ that could be me !! At least 4 or 5 cups over the day. Always PG Tips. Pretty regular for you maybe. A treat for me in California ! Thank you Colette ! Blessings and admiration for your walking program. How I used to love walking when I still could. Half an hour every morning after getting up ! Blessings to you !
Collette, your lovely down to earth energy is a blessing in these times 💜 thank you for sharing, your videos are always so calming + wonderful to watch with a cup of tea! I admire how much you live in harmony with mother earth, you truly are a blessing 🙏🏻💜 sending love from Liverpool ☘️
Not emotional but the walk made me tear up as I remember my own country road of youth. Wish we could leave nature as it wants. Blessings to you from the shores of Lake Erie Canada.
This was such a great video, Colette! Thank you for sharing. I love hearing the stories of the land. I have your first two books, but just ordered the books on Imbolc and between the worlds this morning. I can’t wait to read them. I literally think about my trip to Ireland almost every day. Such a profound resonance with my soul.
Forget the G Spot, a lot of us ladies are more interested in our Tea Spot!😂

Hi Colette I recently (over the last 10mths) lost 28 kilos (61 pounds) by doing Intermittent Fasting and walking 10,000 steps a day. I’m also plant based like you. I’m also Celiac so I don’t eat wheat products. I feel amazing 🙌 I’ve gone beyond my goal weight and I’m now maintaining. I’m going to try my hardest not to put any of it back on as i know how easy it is to do at my age (64) As it’s now Winter in the SH I’m still getting out everyday and doing my daily steps regardless of the weather.
Very well done! I am duly impressed by your efforts because I know how much effort goes in to keeping to a healthy routine
@@bealtainecottageThank you 🙏🏻 I’m quite proud of myself 😉
So beautiful and peaceful 😊💚🌱🌻🐝
Beautiful walk Collette thank you ☺️
Summer here is still away’s off by the calendar but according to the weather summer has begun. Thank you for the lovely walk, I so enjoyed it!
I love how the entrance to your lane looks now. It is magical!
Beautiful xxx🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That was my first comment Colette. The brilliant greens of your Irish spring. How beautiful it all is with your flowers blooming ! ‘’Me and my ree’’ that could be me !! At least 4 or 5 cups over the day. Always PG Tips. Pretty regular for you maybe. A treat for me in California ! Thank you Colette ! Blessings and admiration for your walking program. How I used to love walking when I still could. Half an hour every morning after getting up ! Blessings to you !
That should read;’’me and my tea’’

Is that Queen Anne's lace lining the road on one side? How lovely!
Beautiful... Wondering what happened to Jack. Much love and gratitude. 🌷🌷🌷xx
In the part where you said you found something, I saw the umbrella and thought you had an intruder! Happy it was a newt
I thought the same!! Lol
Not emotional but the walk made me tear up as I remember my own country road of youth. Wish we could leave nature as it wants. Blessings to you from the shores of Lake Erie Canada.
Thank you for letting us into your walk and home!
What a beautiful place and area where you live.
Ah, I see your gate, it looks further in, now you've done all that work around the front!
Gosh, I need to move to the countryside 🌳 🏡 🌳
This was such a great video, Colette! Thank you for sharing. I love hearing the stories of the land. I have your first two books, but just ordered the books on Imbolc and between the worlds this morning. I can’t wait to read them. I literally think about my trip to Ireland almost every day. Such a profound resonance with my soul.
Thanks for the walk❤
