This is an excellent video, especially for the helmet I am currently designing... I was having some challenges on either printing it upside down, or cutting it in half and print sideways.
After seeing this video, I'll definitely print it upside down and hope to keep my support structures to a minimum
How did it turn out? I am about to purchase my first 3d printer myself.(Wanna print helmets etc as a hobby to enrich my sparetime as well as painting them etc :D)
Was there supportmaterial deforming holding onto the top of the helmet? Aprox how much did u spend in supportmaterial per gram?
@@simonbionary11010 I haven't printed it yet as my print area is too small for it. I would have to split up the model into pieces
@@KRGraphicsCG Which printer do you possess?
@@simonbionary11010 I currently own a Robo C2. Waiting for the Adventurer 4 to get back in stock on Amazon
@@KRGraphicsCG Ah! I am prob going for an Creality Ender 5 plus or a Ender 6. Not sure which yet^^
nikko, mate how is it possible that this video only has less than 500 views? This is an nice video i don't get it

Aggronn hahaha I don't think so. But thanks! Hahaha
Hi I am planning to print the Godzilla helmet but nervous on how to position it with the sharper edges facing down. How should I position it with supports?
Thank you good sir I am printing a helmet now should be done by Wednesday night. I will post pictures on Instagram and add you and it.
Hi nikko, loves your tutorial very much, they are amazing! I have a question, what kind of CAD app or software did you use to design those models?
I have a question for you! Say I have a 24 cir head how do I compute that into a xyz format? Is there a chart you go by? Thanks!

As a brand new person to 3D printing, if I have a character with arms stretched out, would I need supports throughout the entire arm(s) length, or just a few- like a bridge?
Hey there! I have gone to your page, but I don't see a contact page there. Where is the best place to contact you?

hey Nikko and everyone i finally got my cr10 s4 what a game changer especially now that i am redoing my armor in tpu. question for ya, i m getting ready to print my chest piece whole for the stormtrooper first order what is the best way to orient this piece with least or no support upside down with support touching build plate shows 5 days im using cura thanks
Great!! I would orient it vertically
@@NikkoIndustries ok thanks thats the hardest or biggest part to print i have it now showing 3 days , with these printers can you start printing in the morning and then pause over night or is it best to just let it keep printing or should i still break up the chest front and back even though its tpu
hey nikko have you tried using flexseal on tpu just wondering because it comes in white and black
No I haven't
@@NikkoIndustries just something i thought about recently i may try it and see how it does , im still trying to perfect my settings for printing tpu armor i installed a .6mm nozzle on my new cr10 s4 . could use some help with support settings i notice supports are fusing with prints.
