Might be a silly question considering its not sonething you test for. But did you see an increase in mpg while on the highway? Trying to justify getting these for my sq5 if i can gain a few mpgs
Increase MPG from a new brake system? Hmmm... I've never heard of that. How would they Increase MPG. I can think of several other reasons why you should get them though. 😁
@midlifemods oh there are plenty of acceleration and stopping reasons. Reducing the unsprung weight by roughly 7 pounds at each cover helps a lot. But I haven't seen if it will help with Mpg. If it did, the rotors would essentially pay for themselves over a few months, I feel.
People who take calipers off without turning the wheel/hub to make the access easier..... this drives me nuts as a flat rate tech. AND WTF?! No grease on the back or sliding parts of the pad?? Fire this mechanic.
Wow. Fire him? Then what? You gonna work on my car? I don’t always include every little detail in my videos because they’re not “how to” videos. They’re “follow my build” videos. I’m sure he did it right. I tracked the car on Laguna Seca after this and the brakes did great. They’re still doing great actually.
Good video! Then again, I’ve enjoyed all your videos
Thank you!
Just subscribed, really enjoy your content, the quality is awesome.
Awesome, thank you!
curious if you see a reduction in brake dust with the new pads. The stock audi pads are dust machines on my s4
Not really
Came here to ask the same. My wheels look like crap 2 days after a wash with OEM pads
I love your video! Haha
Glad you enjoyed!
Looking forward to Laguna Seca!
Me too!
What country are these rotors manufactured?
I bet you can get it in one guess!

@@haydenbriggs doooo it. 😁
why didnt you just buy the audi ceramics... would last a good while and provide PREMIUM breaking.
My budget. And these are fantastic with the right pads.
Do they even make a ceramic for the S4?
