Thank you so much! 💓 Your video was very informative & helpful. I have a sun conure who plucks only when she is sitting on eggs. This will be perfect for Ember..many thanks
My quaker parrot plucked so much that he started bleeding and he did this twice we put a cone on him because he hates outfits but now he doesnt sleep and i hand feed him is there anything i can do to help him and why is he plucking so much ☹️
The most common reasons for feather-plucking are loneliness, stress, and illness, and feather-plucking should always warrant a visit to an avian veterinarian; book an appointment as soon as possible. Also, it's unethical (and even illegal here in Sweden) to keep lone parrots for this reason (they're not solitary, so you should always have at least two of the same species), so that's something you can fix while waiting for the vet visit, if it doesn't have one
Maybe if you hem the collar so it’s thicker and add a button/Velcro or maybe a snap button you can make the outfit last a bit longer. Beto is very cute!
Im scared because my male quail is plucking the head feathers of my female quail but when i seperate them then they scream and their breeders! I can't seem to get rid of this issue. This was a big help!
I made a outfit rightnow for my quial (chibi is her name)and i made the outfit loose and the sock was made out of cotton and when i tried it on her she walked to me and sat on my lap.when i put her in the cage she slept poeacfuly but in the middle of the night when i wanted to take it out she didnit 🔺
Do not make this for a parakeet/Budgie! My parakeet was stuck in it and I had to cut it apart to get her out! It hurts their wings and their sensitive bodies!
Some birds will not be able to tolerate an outfit. It is very stressful for them and if an outfit is too loose or too tight or the holes for the wings and the head is wrong size- it makes it worse. It helped my Beto and he still doing well. I hope you will be able to find another solution to the plucking feather problem.
I made my bird wear it but he was so uncomfortable even though I did as you said he couldn’t even groom himself please don’t do that if you don’t want to loose your birds trust I will not force him to wear this 😢
Sometimes they pluck their feathers for a reason and it’s better if you don’t make them wear it for so long since it squeezes their feathers and cause them to overheat
this was very helpful.... thanks a lot. my bird is 7 weeks old he is fine but i'm glad to get knowledge so i know the signs of stress..
Awh I Bet He is Soooo Cute!
You are right but I tried this it doesn't worked even
My birds just love it
Thank you and may God bless you and your channel 😁😁👍👍
What measurements would you recommend for a lovebird? We have tried everything. Music, mist, sprays, vitamins, and the collars.

Can I make this for winter?
Thank you! My bird has not plucked but if she ever does I will try this!
It's good for Cockatiels too?
Yes, but if your bird feels too stressed out you should take it off.
This is very helpful mam thank you very much 💖
Thanks for showing that 😘😘🤗
Came for the bird sweaters, stayed for the Eastern European accent.
this is very nice
this is so funny
Thankksss my quaker keep turing into a circle & geting fuzzzy
Your bird is probably stressed out. If it not able to walk/ fly, stopped eating-take the outfit off immediately.

do not make this, the wings should not be put those holes, the wing is too fragile and you will damage the wing feathers and cause more plucking
Thanks for cool DIY!
Subscribe to my channel plz thanks 😊 so much

It does not work for my bird but what did I expect ofc he will just argue with it and fight the thing lol
So can i also make that for a baby sparrow
Only if your bird is plucking it feathers and you tried everything else to stop it from plucking. Do not put the outfit on your bird just for fun.
Sometimes they pluck their feathers for a reason and it’s better if you don’t make them wear it for so long since it squeezes their feathers and cause them to overheat
Most of the time it's because they're stressed or sick, yeah.
You are amezing
I personally prefer using a plate-like shaped collar, it is less invasive and it stopped my quaker parrot from plucking his feathers
I tried to use it but it didn’t work with my bird. He was not able to get around and eat.
My bird is 4 week old 🐦
Your 👀 eyes is very 🫴❤️
Half a year today my parrot
