I’ve had 3 emergency 911 experiences. One I was not conscious. EMT’s go to your refrigerator/freezer door, looking for a red magnet document holder with your advanced directives in it.
There is a red magnet universally recognised for AD. Advanced detectives. You can add a 1 pager with your info, your photo, your meds with schedules, allergies, diagnosis (significant), ICE #’s, PCP and MDS. You can highlight where to find your black aware in care bag. Keep a weeks worth of current meds in there. Don’t use the bag for using your medication’s. For example:If you happen to be on antibiotics and use your black bag to keep your prescriptions, when you are done with your antibiotics, that bottle may still be in your medication bag this is happened to me. The paramedics were trying so hard to figure out what I was taking antibiotics for, but I wasn’t able to answer them and my daughter didn’t know. As to the car, I would purchase a red folder and write on “ICE EMERGENCY INFO FOR EMT’S.and keep it visible in your car. Make sure it includes the photo of yourself.

The military VA doesn't except civilian pamphlets. They refused to give my 8 25/100 CL and said the 2 50/200 was plenty. The next thing you know I'm balled up muscles knotted up blood rate through the roof. They literally told me they knew more about my Parkinson's than I did. Got to love Gov. healthcare, lol.

I wonder if it would be better to have a medical alert bracelet.

My doctor recommended me to get a smart watch, and I have everything on my medical ID updated with it. Plus, I use it to keep track of my daily activity and exercise teams. I do really like that booklet for information if an officer comes across you because they’re trained to read body language, and someone with Parkinson’s could be read wrong(rigidity).

Although the web site you mentioned is a good resource, I could not find any information on the booklet you mentioned. Could you please give further instructions on how to find this booklet.
