Just as HPA changed airsoft and added so much, HPA will change nerf too. Easily adjustable FPS, insane performance and eventually we will get full auto. I own an SLP air rig for airsoft and am considering making a paintball style HPA powered rival blaster, any ideas?
Hmmm, I don't think rival balls will take too well to the high pressure, then again I'm not sure. I would stick to darts for range and accuracy. Start with a build like my 33.b or prophecy, I have internals and walk throughs on my channel.

Nice. How responsive is the action of the trigger to firing?
Super responsive with high pressure, pressure will determine how fast the dart is fired off as the piston will travel faster. So 40psi will have a longer delay than say 80psi, Max a 0.1s delay.
Can you just use a piston with a spring return, instead of using air from the other direction
Correct you can, then you can just use a MVJ-3 for the trigger, no need for the 5 way valve. There are many different ways to go about it, i think spence may have run out of room for a spring return.

This thing is rad. Not much else I can say other than I want it bad, and I wish my club allowed them. I need to work on the guys. Maybe if I build one I can persuade a rule change.... at least it would give me an excuse to spend money and get my hands busy.

hey cobba. do u need a liscence to own a paintball tank? if not then where might u be able to refill one?
Paintball shops, pneumatic stores. You can buy hand pumps, which im planning to do.

@@MD-iv1lc I bought mine second hand from a guy in Brisbane, he was a paintballer. Check out ANS gear, they have bottles and SLP regulator combos for pretty good prices.

COBBAcrazy put it in the same spot as the SPEXBZ in your prophecy build (inside the stock)... elongate the shroud to go all the way to the right position in the breech to seal it. Easy peasy.
COBBAcrazy this Recon has better functionality though :-) Open breech with a pusher that feeds consistently into a wider barrel with a phunnel to 17/32... The supercore (normally) suggests closed breech.
Do a semi auto retaliator.
