      I have some skinny road tires I use during part of year when it rains frequently and soft trails stay damp/wet. If you do, try swapping out for a bigger chain ring as I find a 32T tops out fairly easily.

    That is an absurd speed for trail bikes. Did you add a big chain ring? With a 32t don't see how I'd never shift out of the 11t cog. Also a lot of air to push on the front, wouldn't want to be there before the last lap.

    It's often much easier if you stay near the front, even if sometimes you have to do some turns on the front - that elastic effect at the back, having to sprint at every corner can be brutal...

    The beauty of a mountain bike is you can put skinny tires or race against the best gravelers. For the same can't be true for the gravelers even if they put big tires if they go through harsh snowy or rainy or muddy terrain they will probably flip over.

    Some road tires work well offroad on an MTB, so long as it's dry out.
    The micro-treads on Maxxis Hookworms are a perfect example of this.

  • @Rose_Butterfly98
    @Rose_Butterfly98 4 года назад +2

    Damn, if I put those tires on my bike it would work really well for a race like that. I'm not strong enough definitely, but if someone was, they'd have no problem since my gear ratios are great for road riding. I'd get last if i tried though.

    After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.

    Nice! That's impressive work for someone who isn't putting in consistent work on a road bike! I recognize that spot where your father in law took off his jacket. That's in Blowing Springs, and I WISH I COULD POST a picture of what that gravel area looked like a few days before the event. There was a 4 foot deep hole, 6 feet across and 8 feet long, with about 2.5 feet of water in it RIGHT THERE. I was on a night ride, and coming back into Blowing Springs I almost ran straight into it. If the participants in the race had ANY IDEA what the condition of those trails were just 3 days prior to the event, they would have thought the event would have to be rerouted or be cancelled.
