I’m gonna be That Guy and point out that peanuts are big in Thai food. PB Captain Crunch would go well with Thai sauce and seasonings. I was going to say that it might be outside your comfort zone but as I watch your channel I’m not sure you even have a comfort zone!
My memory of Captain Crunch as a child is that tried them one time and they made the roof my mouth sore they were so hard. I never ate them again. After watching this - I just might have to try them in a new and reinvented way. 😀
Kansas City Ken here. Yes KC is famous for BBQ, but there is another popular homegrown delicacy. The Cheese Slipper has its roots and history here in KC and is a popular choice in cafes and coffee houses. It is a pizza-like oval-shaped ciabatta (Italian word for slipper) bread treat. There are recipe variations. I encourage you and your team to Google the Cheese Slipper and consider sharing this KC treat with your viewers.
@@ThePhilocratesI've lived in KC for 55 years and I had no idea "what the hell I'm talking about" until recently it was featured on a news program. I encourage you to Google.
I love when a simple recipe is all it takes to make something incredible. Thank you for showing how easy this can be. I can't wait to try it with Capt. Crunch.
Been watching you for years and recently caught up having viewed all the past years episodes. Now having to wait for the Monday Wednesday and Friday episodes to air is HARD to do. Keep em coming - can’t wait to try the tuna with Capn Crunch!
Capn Crunch was used on chicken tenders at the Rain Forest Cafe in Mall of America decades ago. It was very popular. Works well with fried icecream too.
My wife discovered this recipe in Sam’s cookbook and has been making it for a few years now. It’s a hit as an appetizer. Neighbors are always asking us to bring it
That looks amazing. I’ve tried quite a few of your recipes and this one is definitely going on the to do list. Never been disappointed. From the delicious food, video editing, music and most importantly the comedy….hands down one of my favorite channels!!! Please don’t stop doing your thing!
It's one of those combinations that's so odd; I absolutely have to try it (plus tuna is my favorite fish). Thanks, Sam and the gang!! Love your videos!
This was the very first recipe I tried when you had your show on the local San Diego channel! Still amazing and shows how long it's been and how far you've come.
I haven't had that cereal in decades, but willing to buy a box just so I can try this recipe. It's always the weirdest ingredient(s) that get the puzzled looks and highest praise
I remember when you did this a few years ago & that's when I subscribed to this channel. The next time I go to Denver, I'm getting some fresh slabs to do this again!
i always make one of your recipes when i visit my big bro.. I remember when you talked about this on the live show years ago and it's definitely happening next time i see him! thanks for making it an easy choice 😎
Cap’n Crunch was my fave as a kid! (69 this year). And how it stuck to your teeth so you spent most of the morning in class trying to get it off! A breakfast food that lasts for hours! 😂😂😂
congrats on your well-deserved award, gentlemen! and that recipe sounds amazing. I'm a 43 yo man and Cap'n Crunch is one of my favorite cereals. all my life I was never able to put my finger on just what the flavor profile is, other than I swore it tasted buttery (which sounded ridiculous). just recently come to find out that they were going for *brown sugar and butter over rice*. imagine my vindication! but also, it's pretty clear why such a crazy-sounding combination would work in this scenario. I absolutely want to make this for my wife and not tell her what it is!
Eating this right now! Caught some Tuna in the Gulf of Mexico a few weeks back so I thought Sam's stuff we all generally really like, I'll try this. This is an awesome way to cook Tuna.
My wife surprised me a couple weeks ago with kewpie mayo from our local asian store and i absolutely love it now its the only mayo i use all thanks to you stcg
Everything about me wants to hate this recipe, but the finished product looks WAY too good. Congrats on the award!
This is why I love this show or channel, whatever this is called. Something so amazing, and it is so simple. .

I’ve been following so long that I’m on repeats. However, this one is worthy. I make it all the time. It’s outstanding.
if sams presenting this at his award you know its special, well deserved and good luck! i'll put this on the weekend menu
Once again no messing around with the right hands thank you max
My memory of Captain Crunch as a child is that tried them one time and they made the roof my mouth sore they were so hard. I never ate them again. After watching this - I just might have to try them in a new and reinvented way. 😀

Love the different recipe combos you come up with! and congrats on the win!

Well deserved award! Best cooking show on the RUclips’s and I watch a dozen different ones!
I made this for my extended family yesterday. The comments were off the charts. Even my brother who doesn’t eat fish had some and loved it. So fun.
Capn Crunch was used on chicken tenders at the Rain Forest Cafe in Mall of America decades ago. It was very popular. Works well with fried icecream too.
Didn't Planet Hollywood make chicken tenders with Cap'n Crunch? Those of us that actually ate there and loved the nostalgia 😏
That actually looks fire, you should do more of these interesting recipes. You should try making your version of a TV dinner
Tuna and Cap’n Crunch ! That’s gangster!

That sounds crazy good!
I learned decades ago about crushing Captain Crunch (no crunch berries!) and using that to bread chicken tenders....
Never would have thought of this. Who knew. Will definitely try.
Congrats on the award Sam and crew!!
