I played in the D-league "back in the day" and one thing I notice is that Kyrie's hand is always behind the ball (this allows him to go straight up and shoot-at any time). The others usually have their hand on top of the ball, which makes them have to cock their wrist to shoot, which is too slow in high-level basketball.
I been looping this video of Kyrie Irving for two months now on slo-mo before training/practice i've up my game just watch this video alone, from original content creator. Now am loop this with volume tho, & you breaking it down in piece. Adds a different perspective i didn't catch on my own. Thank you a much man!
i’ve heard about ball placement on fadeaways but this is an example of the most elite basketball ever played. if he’s prepared to make shots this defense that just makes me think how much those type of guys practice precise in depth stuff outside of practice and those weak chris brickley drills they like to show us
Would you say Kyrie’s moves would translate to someone who releases the ball on the way up (like Trae Young and Steph Curry)? Kyrie has more of a classic, Kobe style jump shot where he gets a lot of lift and releases at the apex of his jump. One of the advantages to this type of release is you can adjust midair based on how the defense is contesting. You can’t do that if you release as you jump. Mainly asking cuz I like to release on the way up.
aint even no intro, straight to business, thats how u know ts finna be fire🔥
