- My last braid out was cute but I thought it could be even cuter..if I blow dried my hair 👀 So today I'm attempting a braid out on stretched hair. Let me know what you think of my results! I'd honestly love to revisit this style more often but the humidity here in Miami will not let me be great 😭😭

What I enjoy most about your content is that your not afraid to be transparent with us. You show us real results when it comes to your hair. I appreciate that so much because we have similar hair and I use to watch other RUclipsrs who would do there hair and they always showed these flawless results. I would always wonder what I was doing wrong or why my hair wouldn’t turn out the same. I use to think I was the only one with my specific hair type who just couldn’t get it to act right. I know as naturals we are not suppose to compare are hair because there all different in there own way. However I was shocked when I came across your channel and saw that you had similar hair to mine and you struggled with some of the same problems. It’s refreshing watching your videos because not all of your hairstyles turn out exactly how you want it or they might not last as long but you still make it work and you still post the video. Girl you know us Jamaicans will find a way to get anything from the US to the island 😂 so definitely #entry. Braids and twists in the humidity are just a no for me 😭 but I've been dying to experiment with blowing out my hair. I have basically invisible fine strands so I'm terrified of heat damage so a revair would be amazing.

I’m addition the wash n gos you show I try which allows me to know what actually works and I love it. #entry: your content made me love my natural hair. I think I told you this before. I too have dense hair and use to hate it. No one had it around me, and I couldn't figure out what to do with it. It's just so much all consuming hair!!!!! I was going to give up and go back to relaxers until I found your RUclips page ❤️. You showed me the beauty of have dense hair. Yes, It is time consuming and there's is a learning curve...but man, when i figure it all out (and you helped me soooooooooo much) it so worth it. And I accepted, it won't do what the lower density hair does. But thats ok. Because i love how voluminous it is. So, thank you 😊.
Anyways: I learned by accident the BEST twist outs come from stretch out hair when it comes to 4a/4b. Anything else would come out as a stretched wash n go...which I ain't mad at...but wasn't going for. Lol.
100% agree with you with you have to be super delicate with this hair style. I always have to retwist every other day because it just won't last but that long.

I know what you mean about the wash and go being more solid. That’s why I prefer them over the braid outs and twist outs. My hair frizzes so easily 💯 #Entry I watch you because when you style your hair you make it look so therapeutic. What I love most is how easy you make everything look and the detailed work you put into making content. I’d like to see more braid outs, twist outs, and roller sets(flexi rods, perm rods, etc). I just started doing twist outs and and braid outs and I find they last longer than and retain length better than wash n gos which I’ve been doing for years and I don’t think I’ll go back. #Entry

It came out great Steph! But why didn't you separate the unraveled braids and then pick it to adjust the shape? Your hair is thick af and doesn't really need separating for volume but it would've made the hair flow more naturally.
I tried to separate and pick briefly off camera but it was an immediate no 😭 The frizz and lack of definition would've been REAL lol trusttt me. I've learned that I just have to wait for my hair to separate on its own with time, cause when I try to it creates way too much frizz

I’ve been watching your channel since I became natural 2 years ago. Even though I’m high porosity, my hair loves a braid out; The braid out gives her volume and definition. Like you, I am not a fast braided either. Only when I am braiding my daughter’s hair lol
