- This is the first time the Nissan 300ZX has been cleaned in a long time and it honestly came out with some insane results! We also found the magic sauce for cleaning the engine bay!!

For the foam cannons you usually only put 1-3 ounces of soap and then fill the rest with water

nah with soap you actually need a 1/4 cup or more. it's not concentrated enough.

@@Caessr yes I know that's why I'm saying putting less doesn't work for his case. It's just regular soap. You don't need to use specific soap to get good foam. Just the right ratio (water to soap) and the correct sized orifice in your snow foam canon ( smaller orifice for pressure washer under ~2300 psi)

I have the same pressure washer setup from Canadian tire, you’re supposed to dilute the soap canon before spraying, fill it up with water first
This got me excited to get mine washed and ready for the streets already 🤤

Man, this thing is soooo clean! Totally agree on the cream coloured paint being dated, would look super sharp in white! 🔥👌
I'd be careful with the Krud Kutter stuff on any plastics, and probably paint too. If it's similar to Goo Gone or Goof Off then it can crack up plastics and eat paint if left too long. I haven't used too many different engine bay degreasers, but I find the Simoniz one from CT really good!

Dude. for the future, make sure you cover the engine with a rag or something, maybe even a garbage bag. Also use a simple garden hose, you don’t want water seeping in your engine or electrical components!!!

If u ever paint it u should get a jspec or Twinz design bumper.. Really updates the look of the car to the point where it draws attention everywhere u go. Also the weather strips are suppose to be black looks like the previous owner stripped it down to the chrome thats underneath doesn't look bad that way but it looks better in black imo
Yo Robbie,, been watching your Z videos.. finally got my Z too.. 94 twin turbo.. 2 seater.. lucked out there, really wanted a 2 seater..
So.... What been done so far. --- concept Z engine rebuild,, Z 1 turbo,, JWT clutch/carbon fiber flywheel.. and a couple other things....
But yeah,, keep it up homie.. I know the struggle of working on this/that car.. it's definitely my favorite car I've had....

Some cars still have door vents on like dodges but it’s for a defroster for your side windows not an actual air vent for ac and stuff

When I was cleaning my engine a couple days ago I must have loosen up a gas line.. haven't messed with it yet.. but it has small small gas leak at first start.. stops when it warms up.
Those seats are super cool. You should keep them!

the foam cannon should have an adjustable nozzle: you twist it cw or ccw to flatten or shorten the spray fan
I was just looking at some of the leaked pictures of the new Nissan Z (400z). It also has the vents in the door cards being piped through the side.
A lot of newer cars still do this, my 2015 mustang does for example.

You need to use a foaming engine degreaser.I don't have a lot of experience with the products but I've used the WD-40 brand it works pretty good.
Products I have used from the least powerful the most is the mean green, Grease lightning, purple power and wd40 engine degreaser

You had to mix up the shampoo with water for the foam lance
My mixture is 50ml shampoo with 500ml water, don't shake the bottle, just twist it, you don't need the foam in your bottle
