I have a Fitbit Charge 5 that was given to me free of charge, because I participate in a nationwide health study. The study has access to all my data and I'm supposed to wear the tracker at least four successive days each month. I wear mine everyday and try to input any data daily that is not already monitored and stored automatically. I don't have a premium subscription, because the tracker is not so much for my benefit, as it is for the study. I like the ring idea, but I'm not going to spring for one as long as the Fitbit keeps working.
Ring fitness tracker could be the next big thing especially once big players like Samsung join. The price is still stiff but way affordable than Oura that also has monthly subs. For now I'll stick with Bands like trackers until this kind of tech get cheaper to sub 200 dollar price. Or wait for Samsung to have this included as freebies to their S o Foldable series.
@RUclipsTechGuy thanks for the response. My hope is I won't lose the data when I switch phones on the weekend. I have oura ring and even though I'm on a lifetime subscription I have to factory reset the ring and lose all my data. They started that when they went to subscription. I reached out to ringconn and they said I can continue to change phones....hopefully it's true I have one on b the way
Do you use a fitness tracker?
That's why love my Garmin is free data on the app. Nice review Ricky.

Ya Samsung is rumored to be launching one next year
I use an older fitbit and it doesn't catch my sleep properly. How does this ring cost? That would have been nice to know. Thanks
$279 is the normal price. However they do have sales here and there. Link to check out the current price is in the description
Have you used it during running and compared with Fitbit/Apple Watch or similar, how exact is the steps count then?
Cant be honest when the product is a gift?
Can i Sync it with Google fit?

Can't imagine wearing this while doing strength training though.
Good point, do you use another kind of monitor or health tracker?
