@@The_Marko2 You lose 100% of the hands you don't partake in. If you don't partake in a hand, your expectation is zero. Hey brad I’ve been playing for a good six years as a younger kid in some of the most aggro games in SoCal.. that nines hand is definitively a call and decide river spot. You’re just protecting your profit and not taking game factors into account imo, these people are out to get you even more so than someone like me who doesn’t vlog.. and I would 100% call here, you still have position on the river and he’s prone to check most of the hands you’re beating like this one, unimproved on most rivers you still probably should be deciding on how you feel about what happens due to position. I heard wise words from jungleman once and he said that you shouldn’t take any one spot too seriously in terms of a single decision because you’re basically mind gaming yourself into something that hasn’t even happened yet & working with incomplete information about that situation. Anyways I love watching and hope to play with you one day soon. I also miss the hand history background music you occasionally would include. 🤜
Brad, some sound attenuating stuff on walls is a must, some tunnel echo there, especially at the end of vid. Fun video, glad you found some run good sir!
Funnily enough I've seen more and more good players especially locally (southern UK) starting to fold rather than check as a kind of meta game thing, admittedly usually in MTT as a way of encouraging action in players in later positions and potentially gaining information and letting the battles take place elsewhere early on, as well as not trapping yourself or leaking by making bad bluff attempts. Not 100% sure it's the line I would take, preferring a check but if you're only going to check fold no matter what, just as well speed things up and potentially see more hands for the blind level.. Although, in a cash game, not so much.
Brad! Here are some ideas for your new place: - a nice carpet on the floor will help tremendously with the sound (no echoes) - hire a graphic / type designer to create a mural that says 'there's no right way to play jiggeties' (as a design student I could potentially do that too) - hang your guitar(s) on the wall as part of the composition

I'm a novice poker player, but I am a decent guitar player. Your background guitars I envy. If I ever get back to Vegas, I'd love to jam. I won a trip for two to Vegas at my work Christmas party for 2019 so I brought my 83 year old dad. We got back to Halifax on March 13, 2020, one day before the Covid border shut down. Dunno if you will read this, but I love your blog style. It's a nice mix of data and feelings. I did see your little clip of playing the guitar, so that's why I want jam!
Old School Smoking Lounge/Den vibe - Dark Wood, Velvet, Damaske/Brocade wall treatment, big old leather chair, brass and green glass light fixture. Have some fun with it. It's basically set design. Level Up! On those nines...my 2 cents, you would have only had to pay $200 to see a river, and you had two potential 5 card hands...straight on a 6 and flush on a club (albeit a middling flush) I would have paid for the river card just to speculate.
Awesome that Ben and yourself are friends! He's a super cool guy that we have played a few times together at the Aria which by the way is like my second home..lol! Great vlog as always Brad! It sounds like you have a bigger house than before with the echo's in the background! Have fun decorating!
Hey Brad! I’ve recently gotten hopelessly addicted to your videos - I think they’re really helping me step up my game. I have a question - most of the hands you show in your videos you’re playing Broadway cards & pocket pairs. How often are you playing weaker hands & not including it in the video? I’m trying to get better and am trying to figure out what % of hands I should be playing, & if I should basically only be playing hands that are as strong pre-flop as AA - 9/10 suited. Keep up the good work brother.
I love how the opponent in the last hand goes "oh nooooo" after he sees the rockets, when he already knows he's beat with 7 high and has announced "you're good" hahahaha nice hand
You asked, I will tell! How to spruce up the background - Get some wall hangers for those guitars and maybe a portrait of your favorite guitarist! My vote is Slash (maybe some sound proofing too )

Brad I’ve watched about 100 videos entirely from start to finish and still have no confidence that I’d be able to play for money , I live vicariously through you
Just play like he does, just play premiums cards lol
You’re definitely a big inspiration to play poker, I’m always fiending to see your next video, so I can learn something!
The open fold is an underrated power move
I'm a novice poker player, but I am a decent guitar player. Your background guitars I envy. If I ever get back to Vegas, I'd love to jam. I won a trip for two to Vegas at my work Christmas party for 2019 so I brought my 83 year old dad. We got back to Halifax on March 13, 2020, one day before the Covid border shut down. Dunno if you will read this, but I love your blog style. It's a nice mix of data and feelings. I did see your little clip of playing the guitar, so that's why I want jam!
Your content just keeps getting better and better brother! Could we possibly get an update on the lodge’s live streams?
You are a breathe of fresh air on the video poker circuit my man. Keep up the good work, and just curious if you ever get over to Biloxi to play?
Grab yourself one of those pop up green screens for the background like from elgato or something. Run some b roll footage
My vote is Slash (maybe some sound proofing too )
Hey Brad, Im brand new to poker but I want to learn. Where should I go to learn so I can hit the poker rooms eventually?
Curious how are you drawing dwad om the double board bomb pot? He had top 3 on bottom and a wrap flush draw on top? If it goes Brick brick don't you scoop?
The Queen right next to the ‘’Gus’’ text killed me. Great vlog as always Brad!
I was going to say! Gus seems like such a lovely bloke! More than welcome down at the Empire Casino if he's ever in London. Where are all these happy people who are up for a nice game of cards these days eh? More of this and less of the grumpy hoodies and headphones!
Agreed! Brad, when's the next London meet up game happening??
Oh man, I miss the shrimp fried rice at the Hustler! Brad - 2 ideas for your background: either a map with all your favorite poker spots around the country/world, or a GIANT pair of jacks with your face as the jack! Thanks for another great video!
Gus seems like a good chap. He should be a recurring character.
