That was a SICK 7-2 value bluff
Yeah thats crazy i was sure the opponent had queen😂
Honestly that was perfectly sized, looking at that pot, if someone was sitting there with weird pocket pair
"that would be a gangster sizing for 7-2" haha! Love it! Great vlog Brad and congratulations on meeting a goal you have set for yourself many years ago. You are an inspiration!
Thanks a lot Chance
Can we take a moment for this man. He was down 17000 dollars and battled himself up to over 5000 dollar profit. Well played.
spoiler alert!!!
Its the equivalent of being stuck 200 in a 1-2 game
@@coreyfranco7060 Its still more intimidating to be 17000 dollars down.
@@lucasnielsen4073 its all relative
@@coreyfranco7060when you're taking a shot, being down that much is pretty draining.
Still not as bad as a random Lodge stream punt, but those games are haymaker sessions anyway.
What a great game! Thanks to the table for allowing Brad to capture some of the action. This was a great vlog. Congrats on the win, Brad!
That ten of spades graphic on the river was hilarious. Love the way you integrate quiet comedy into your vlogs.
Haha that was more out of necessity
Went over my head can you explain🤣
where was it
Hi Brad, I keep learning with you...
I just wanna tell you that in my opinion on AJ for me is the worst hand in tournaments unless the straight comes haha.
Wait that was CG? Damn I didn't notice until you mentioned it. Technology has gone a long way.
Congrats Brad! You deserve it! Your videos inspired me to get back into poker after a long hiatus and have improved my game so much over the last few years. Thanks for all the amazing content over the years!
It's fantastic you can hold your own in a game this high, in a room like this. Congrats, Brad!
Ya gotta love the guy coming straight from winning a big tourney to the high stakes table 😂 legend. Great vid Brad
Thanks a lot for the donation Vaughn! Yeah, he plays in that game regularly.
Haven’t finished just yet, but so far it seems like you’re having the best time in this game. Love to see it!
It was definitely the most fun I've had playing high stakes
@@BradOwenPoker glad to see you booked a win too, it seemed like such a unique table atmosphere and I feel like you read the table well
Love the way you can just casually throw in some solid jokes. I appreciate the Home alone one @23:30. One of the best scenes in the movie in my opinion haha
Great jokes as always, except it was a swing and a miss with the Sandlot joke! Smalls asked, “how can we have s’more?” Not squints! Lol
Spoiler shield.
Phenomenal session, Brad. You played out of your skin towards the end.
That TT river shove was a great bet, realistically the only thing you could have done in that spot.
To book a win after being down so much is not something Brad from a few years back would have been able to do, I don't think. Your tourney skills are translating over to cash really well!
Proud of you pal, you're out there living most of our dreams!
As always, a total pleasure watching you break down your thoughts and give us a peak into your perspective upon the felt! Thanks Brad!
Thanks a lot Jeff
Coach McGinty: “miles and miles of heart”
FAR AND AWAY the best episode as we approach 300
Does he ever, Coach. Impossible for me not to pull for him
Let's go Brad. Love watching your videos. Always look forward to Mondays.
Thanks Isaiah
Watching brad on a regular has really helped my game. Infact just last night i was invited to a casual $1/2 game i was down $300 at one point due to variance but i was able to keep my mental and focus on lessons learned from brad. I made an $1100 swing to get back in the black, including an $800 double board bomb pot to close out the night.
Your roller coaster foreshadowing at the beginning was genius. 😂
Will you be going back to Choctaw Durant again in the next 12 months ?
The 7-2 game needs to make a comeback, I feel like it's way better than the stand up game.
I like it more than the standup game as well
What’s the stand up game ?
@@marklangston7011the nit game -last one to win a pot pays everyone
@@marklangston7011all the players have to stand up and can’t sit back down until they win a pot
I know the game is good if they’ve got both running lol
One of the things I can always say about you Brad , is your such a transparent and honest player ! A lot of people hate on you but you show your WINS & most importantly your losses . I think it is why I’m always tuning in . GREAT VLOG TODAY AND GOOD RUN BROTHA !
Why are people hating on him?
10:43 your killing me Smalls!! It was Scotty Smalls who said it but love the Sandlot reference.
Thank you!!! I've been looking for someone to correct him and I was shocked at how long it took me to find another sane individual in this comment section haha
Crazy awesome session Brad, it was really cool to see you kinda awestruck like a ton of us poker players are when we see our poker idols, or get to play at the same table. That’s why I love that you do meetup games and I can’t wait until you come to the east coast hopefully more often so I can finally cross your name off at the top of my list! Congrats man!
Love the 10,5 hand where you transformed 2 pair into a bluff. Played it like a full house with the “full house check” on the turn.
That 10/5 hand was crazy cuz he tried to get 7/2 through .... and it nearly worked 😂
What hands he folding out with that raise tho, he ain’t folding out a flush
It's one of those spots where you think to yourself, this is an amazing spot to check raise bluff, but it's so difficult to actually pull the trigger. Huge respect to Brad for that play!
@@volleyballerPETE Many flushes will, in fact, fold in that situation. Perhaps not the nut flush, maaaaybe K high flush hero calls but all flushes below that are very likely folding.
@@Joel-js2gk very much doubt u play a fullhouse like this, check turn and check river.
been watching for a little over a year, by far the best video i’ve seen, loved the length, loved the quality, keep it up brad
Holy cow, Table 1!…congrats Brad, well done and good luck in the next one!🍀
Brad as a hardcore online .25/.5 - .5/1, that 72o bluff specifically the river small bet and not the overbet or pot bet was absolutely genius, even more impressive in that table with opponents playing loose and calling station like micros .01/.02 or .05/.10 and knowing that u are on the big table make it greater. U opened my mind a lot with that play, thanks for all Brad❤
I love the longer vlogs and makes me look forward to Mondays you the man Brad
Man, I remember reading AKAD religiously. Lost track of MM a while back, but it's good to see he's still in the game and apparently thriving. Seemed like an awesome dude.
Can’t thank you enough for sharing Table 1 with us, feel like I booked a winner too. Great session, way to grind it out.
Nice comeback after the rough start.
Thanks Joe, it was a fun session
Great vid Brad, one of my favorite vlogs for sure
Man this vlog was awesome!
What a session!
The speed of those cards flipping over to show the 7-2 bluff blew my hair back. Then the dude said “fucked on you”. 😂💀 nice bluff, Brad.
Timestamp?
@@mustywaffle 10:05 on video.
The deadpan delivery on so many of the comedic lines is so good, and timed so well. I hadn't watched for a while but still as impressive as ever.
With that delivery Brad could tour in the UK.
Excellent ‘home alone’ reference there 😂
Awesome stuff Brad. I think you're almost ready the blood match at Teddy KGB's place.
Hey Brad. Love your stuff and it has absolutely improved my game using some of your thoughts and strategies. I'm wondering if you're ever going to do a meet up in Blackhawk, Colorado. The monarch casino has a giant poker room and there are others in their city. It's also a beautiful city.
I've been out there a few times to Ameristar and Golden Gates. I haven't been to Monarch yet, but I'm sure I'll make it there eventually. Maybe in the spring when the Giants play the Rockies.
@@BradOwenPoker man, thanks for responding. I started watching your stuff about 8 months ago and I really enjoy it. I play at Ameristar mostly when I'm up there but they made the Monarch into a pretty big room now so that's why I mentioned them because I'm sure a ton of people would show up. I'll keep watching and it'll be pretty cool if you end up coming up that way. I'll definitely be there. Thanks again for getting back..
Blackhawk: 8,000 feet up where the magic happens.
Twinkle Toes!!! Love seeing Justin here. Absolutely made my day.
only 13 minutes in so idk how this is going to end up, but gotta say playing at table1 and getting one through with 72 is mission accomplished!
This is awesome to see. Been watching for years.
Played at the Aria this past year for my first and only time ever playing live poker. Got taken to the bank for a few hundred but love to see Brad getting all the Bradley dollars he can!
nobody cares cupcake, this video is not about where you play
Nice. You are the comeback kid. Paul is a cowboy.
This session was not money won, it was money earned. Way to put in work Brad
Thanks Joe, it was a grueling one. I'm glad I was able to make the comeback.
@@BradOwenPoker I ordered one of your shirts last week fyi (jiggities). I’m a long time viewer now. I been playing at The Gardens for years.
Money earned is rhrough a hard working job.
One of your best. I like it when you start, immediately go way down and then struggle back.
Those tend to be my favorite sessions as well, especially when it's in a high stakes arena.
That 7-2 earned respect from the whole table.
Gotta love Calling Station Paul... well fought, Brad.
what a session.. well played Brad!
Brad is the God of Fun!
Great vlog as always Brad. That seven deuce off suit bluff was epic. Way to go man keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot, it was a fun session with a good group of guys
Congrats on the win and hanging in there!!
Brad, that (12:00) 7-2 $1700 river value bluff into $3800 was surreal. I was doing what I usually do, playing the hand out along with you street by street, trying to make my decisions before you revealed what you did. I keeled over when I said $1700 on the river to myself, and then you did the exact same thing!
It makes a part-time $2-5 player who can’t sustain a bankroll feel pretty good about himself, if only for a moment!
November 9th Ill be there for the 2/5! stoked tried meeting at the hollywood meetup but couldn't find you
LFG! My favorite episode in a while!!
What a roller coaster of a session!
Brad, I 100% LOVED both of your winning 7-2 river bets. 👍👍👍
Congrats Brad on realizing your dreams! Great, fun video!
The sandlot reference was 👌🏻
but it wasn't squints... it was smalls that asks about the smores
@@jamesp9595your definitely right lol
@jamesp9595
It literally sets up the line, "you're killing me smalls." Idk how anyone forgets that haha
What a beautiful way to start the day. A Brad own vlog hell yes!!!! 🙌
Yet another important turning point in Brad's hero arc. Do for the average joe slaving away at their warehouse job. Do it for the ones who never will!
Brad, loving your videos - consider showing us a series on hands folded
I love your content and I have implemented a lot of your teachings and reasoning behind certain decisions but I play against a lot of recreational players and is very hard to play the "correct" way and be profitable since they have no idea why I'm doing what I'm doing.
In small stakes, it's best not to bluff. People call too much. Just have it against those types of people. Bet bigger and go for value thinner.
Wow...! Nice comeback, Brad! Love your vids...stakes like these are way above my pay grade, so definitely enjoy playing vicariously through you...and there are always a few good laughs! Keep up the strong work!!
Oh man! not little white board?
Haha it takes a surprisingly long time to write on the whiteboard; I skipped it for this episode. It'll be back though.
I feel like you have improved greatly over the last 2 years. Another great video.
Returning the 7 deuce favour was truly justified.
Brad, I hope I see you on the WPT cruise, I never got the chance to play poker with you at Bestbet jacksonville, but got your autograph on my hat. I hope to play professionally one day, and hopefully look forward to us playing poker at the same table. Thanks for your RUclips program, i learn alot by watching it.
Dennis
Never seemed that Phil Ivey really cared much about Iveys room. Never really spoke about or supported it. Saw it as a tribute to him I guess.
He just cares about stacking people
You're absolutely right about ups and downs swings in poker at least you came out on top and that's a very long poker session gets some rest brad keep the contents coming!!!
Nice comeback Brad, way to stick it out.
Glad you got to play with Art Parmann. He’s an original player from our old 1/2 and 2/5 game back in VA back when he was just 18 years old. Hell of a player.
I was at MGM Detroit meet up game over 1.5 yrs ago, man did you guys bring in the crowd and it was on a Wednesday.
270 Brad videos! And I feel privileged to have watched them all 😅👍
Wow, to battle back and book a win after being 17,000 down at some point is just amazing 👏🏾
Yooo Matt Moore shout out! His 2+2 thread is the best
38:43 you showed your stack and said you were finally unstuck and 800 over I definitely thought that was the last hand. Then you said we're not done
Complete chills
What a rollercoaster ride man
My heart was pounding even though the stakes were all yours
Love watching you play
How did that give you “chills” 😂
Matt moore is a legend for the 2+2 forum. Feel like known him forever from it
Nice Brad that was really good glad you hit a profit first time on table one, you are very talented can’t wait to see how good you will be in the next 5 years mate keep crushing
You are a Hero brother! Making your dreams literally come true... Freaking awesome!
Man, that was awesome! That roller coaster at NYNY was a sign, lol!
"Justin reveals that he was going wild with 43 of diamonds. He cold called with a the 3-bet with it, called a flop bet with his gutter & 2 unders, & bet the turn with me behind & barreled again for a large amount on the river."
-That sounds very attractive. Very smooth & very methodical. I love when the action is illustrated in that manner. 💯♠️💯
If players are sending special invitations for you to play it’s normally not because they think you’re going to win their money .
"I'm only down $5,000"…on my list of things I will never say. 😂 What a great comeback, Brad. Congrats.
I think the 1010 hand is my favorite. That is playing poker. Great thought process and execution there.
That was one of my favorites of the session as well, luckily it worked out
Just got Bally Sports and first thing I see is Brad touting a live appearance on WPT on Oct 21. I'll be rooting for you!
Nice, I haven't seen that preview yet
This was a really good one, some great swings. As always you keep it together mentally. Keep it up brother
That AK was a tough fold.. especially given the player profile. But I get that he will show up enough times with it there.
Chino Reem one of my favorite players. Love that you got to play with him
Fire vlog, great insight to for a player like me who is still at the smaller stakes but man did I enjoy that video with the prefect amiunit of narrating, job well done buddy 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Gentleman and a scholar. Congrats👏
What a great game and comeback Brad! 10.5 hrs is a grueling session!
Another great way to have work go by faster! Thanks Brad!
You know, Brad - everybody dreams about playing the WSOP Main. For whatever reason, that's never called my name. Wait - I know the reason - it's because I can't stand the thought of handing over $10k knowing there's an 85% chance I won't get any of it back. But man, playing in the biggest cash game in town. Ever since Bobby's Room - I mean, even before it was Bobby's Room. I used to walk by and see Doyle, Jennifer, Howard, Ted Forrest, BarryG... all the legends. I (still) can't imagine what it would be like playing in that room, so I'm absurdly happy for you that you got to do it.
I'm glad you won, for sure. But that $5k will go somewhere else soon enough - what *won't* go away is the memories you take away from the day. Those are forever. Congratulations.
Thanks a lot Lee. Great article covering the MUG by the way.
Brad- love the Teddy KGB comment at 12:11 in the video: "Pay that man his money"
Awesome game. 711k subs. So stoked for you Brad. One of the best poker vlogs on YT and I think most people would agree.
This was easily one of my favorite vlogs. Fun to compare with the Lodge high stakes games, could see the high level play here without some of the insane wild west plays and 6-figure pots. What a grind.
Brad stays with the motivational speeches😂
I feel like this was just the teaser for what you might have in store for us for 300! What a session, that was super fun to watch!
I'll have to do think of something fun for that one
Quickly, if not already, becoming THE GOAT of vlogging. Fantastic session, so entertaining. Keep it going
Polaris to Harmon into Aria if you're already on W. Trop will save about 10 minutes.
I knew around what time it was during the session by the narration of the story lol. From the multiple shuffling of players in and out to the playing short handed, glad this still happens even at the highest of stakes.
