This trick is asking for a credit card.
I do this everytime, didn't happen (yet)
This guy is a legend,period.
Sort of in between an Ollie north and straight no comply. Dope and scary 😧
I had a game of skate with one of the younger rippers down the local park. He did an Ollie North as his trick and I replied with a proper Ron Allen style one footer. We were both buzzing!
i bet you, many..many.. credit cards have happened after this video was uploaded xD
"same occupational hazard as any other trick it can hit you" right in the nuts about 150 times before you land one... HAHA dope trick for sure!
Had his board with the Hell Concave. Great trick, great skater.
Yep!
im 90% sure that ollie one foots and ollie norths are the same. if im not mistaken, ollie north is the name it was given in the THPS games. also Ron Allen! H Street legend!!
Freedom’s just another word for nothin left to lose
Dude, this is the sickest shit I've seen in years!
Ok, so in reality to do this trick in an easy way is VERY simple.
You don't necessarily pop it like a real Ollie. Instead, you put your back foot more in the "pocket" where the tail meets the board. Popping here will make the board go as vertical as Ron's.
As for the front foot, you can place it over the bolts and slide less than an Ollie. Continue to quickly brush your foot out until it reaches off the board and complete the trick.
Ron's a legend, know your roots, kid.
I learnt them like this back in the day and got ripped. Love the Ron Allen one foot
noone did a foot like he does even back in the day. it was a quater one foot as long it's going out a bit. prop to Ron.
+einc70 yes! I remember watching him doing that on Hokus Pokus, back in the day. I was stoked by how cool the trick looked.
Yeah I remember hocus pokus.
Watched this video waay back and forgot I learned it. Homie did a Ollie north in a game of skate and that's when I realized there's two ways to do em. I like this way more it feels sick to kick that foot way the fuck out.
Damn! Ron allen!!!! I havent seen him since the h street days! Cool skater!!!
Ollie north from THPS haha. This is the first mob-ass trick that actually looks sick.
"yes... exhibition of speed" lmao lmao lmao
yeah. tricks get renamed sometimes. (i.e. 360 flip and tre flip are the same trick) they were called one foot ollies, then along came THPS and they were renamed ollie norths, and seeing as the majority of skaters started post THPS it stuck.
legend
Ron Allen fuckin' rules. Hokus Pokus for life.
Ron Allen rocks, OK.
I had seen him in an h street demo with matt hensley back in like 1990in salem VA ,at the demo Ron allen bust an ollie over a 3.5'-4' launch ramp he approached from the back of the ramp then ollied up over and into the ramp ,he does the same thing on the hokus pokus video back in the day.i use to like doing these down stairs, dag im old,i have seen this trick called like 3-4 other names,i would also do them down steps one foot oliie with a tail grab ,real fun ( ;. they look really good 180..this dude doesnt look 50
I bet I saw them on the same tour in Maryland and he was doing the same huge ollies. Not sure if people can appreciate the unbelievable nature of that size ollie at that time. I also saw Sheffey with SHUT and he was doing giant ollies around that time too. Unbelievable to see it in person before seeing it in the magazine and a changing of the guard, none of the pros at that time were coming close to going that big.
ollie north was a u.s. colonel, one foot is the proper name for the trick, it wasn't really called a north until the tony hawk games came out, I have mates who are 30+ years old who call em one foots still
best one footers ever
Ron Allen RULES!!!
ol school style... early 90s style .. good memories...
great guy
i remember i gave a scooter kid skate fever with my style once he got a skateboard the next day learning how to ride it i was laughing my ass off XD
Those shoes look hard to Ollie in but probably don't rip
rons take on the one-footer, alex moul had/has them best out of all the late 80s skaters
This dood is a legend
nice trick
I love Ron Allen. He's my board bro.
is this nowaday a ghost comply or a ollie north?
0:38 If you fail....Baam, balls are crushed!
Berkeley park! 510 out chyea!
whats its difference with the Ollie north??
whats the difference between this and a ollie north?
Why aRide no show BMX ? is there are channels for bmx 2 ?
he still has the tags on his shoes =D
The best
But why are the results nearly the "ollie north" when I search the "one foot on Google?
Wonder how many subscribers to RIDEchannel are gonna credit card themselves trying to learn this.
one foot came well before the ollie north!
gonna try this at 2021. thanks man
You ever get it?
well said,fellow skater!
Legend
his version is like a no comply w/ out planting your foot on the ground but still cool...
I think it's a little bit different. In an ollie north your front foot slides forward on the board just like on a regular ollie, but you over-exaggerate this motion, resulting in a "judo kick" type of move. In this particular trick he pops the board more like a no-comply, guiding it with his back foot/leg, while he takes his front foot off pretty soon into the trick, barely sliding it. Like I said, it looks like a no-comply, but instead of planting his foot he kicks it foward.
Cool
back when he was on osirus....
Sort of. But an ollie north your board stays parallel to the ground, while you kick the front foot off. This is just a crazy version of one, since it goes almost perpendicular to the ground, and you use the back leg to level it out. An ollie north doesn't use the back leg at all.
Everybody has a stupid trick they pull out that makes your friends laugh. This is one of them.
I like how the Ollie north looks better :p
Shinners all day!
what do you think they were called back in the 80's/90s???
Berkeley skate park 💯💯🙏🙏
I wonder how many times he's gotten popsicled from this trick.
Ollie north!
Preach it!!!
didn't Darren Nolan teach this?
@Harraz Aqil no not really
Isn't this Ollie north too
Where i'm from we call this an ollie north.
dude has those kooky osiris joints on
i recommend you to learn ollie norths first
Its kinda looks like an Ollie north and a no-comply mixed
actually i like it
Ollie no-comply?
peaaace!
mike v can do ollie north's like a ninja
seems easy enough
*30 mins later*
this trick is bloody impossible
what’s it called when u don’t slide ur foot u just take it off the side like a pop shuv
old school
one foot? what ever happened to the ollie north?
lol got his tag still on his shoe... i did that as a joke with my shirt. cool guy tho, nice trick.
Didn't realize skateboarding was about fashion, but clearly you know better.
yeah these arnt good looking "ollie norths" good 1s are where you fully ollie up and push your foot forward making the board shoot downwards and then pushing your back foot down as you bring your front back into position leveling out and landing steezy
Shut up toy.
video games or not, it is still a trick, i just guess little differences are defining different tricks now.
different trick. This is a one foot and lizard king does ollie norths
Also called a Ollie north
no its not. a ollie north is a ollie that you kick out after you level out, and the ways its done in this video is a one foot
...and final tip...don't wear shorts
shouldve have dixon do this one
Ollie north
thats like " I WANNA GET CREDIT CARDED"
It's like a faux comply 1 foot
well your way of doin this trick is a credit card waitin to happen
Just do ollie north
it was one foot before it was ever ollie north ;)
Ollie North is a better name.
ALMOST!!!!!!!
this trick is a credit card waiting to happen
omg THIS PARK IS IN THE CA IVE BEN TO IT AAHHAA
You don't hit the board with your thigh on ollie north it looks way different
so how does rodney mullen do one foot his way?
I have a feeling there will be a lot of credit cards happening
Ollie North
ollie north
Why don't the pros call it an ollie north instead of a one foot ollie?
David Gravette doesn't do this trick. David Gravette does ollie norths
