    If you weren't around for the 90s, NOBODY was known for pressure flips like Nate Sherwood. He didn't just scrape them up in a parking lot but in and out of ledges and down big stairs. I loved watching him back then. Got a lot of crap for his style when the trends changed but he did his thing and I respect him for that.

    Nate Sherwood Your tips are gold. I thought I would never be able to do a Pressure Flip. This definitely helped me out. I learned those and Pressure Flip Underflips in the same week. Feels great for an old man who's been skating for 18 years. Anyway you can do a trick tip on Pressure Hardflips or any other variations (i've seen the other two you have posted and I'm working on those as well). Thanks a million!!!

  • @musicmania401

    • @natepressureflipsherwood
      @natepressureflipsherwood 9 лет назад

      +musicmania401 use ur front foot as the guide it will keep it stable if u keep it flat in flight brother .

  • @musicmania401
    @musicmania401 9 лет назад +1

    Nate I "Sure would" like to land this trick. I do it fakie & get it to rotate perfectly yet it's so sketchy because my back foot would tap the ground, then go on the board. Idk what to do with my back foot after the shuv. I have fakie Shuvs on lock, can do 20 in a row if I wanted too. Please help me so I may rub it in my friend's faces. They've been trying to get me to do other tricks yet I only drill this one. Every. Single. Day.

  • @lemurfan123
    @lemurfan123 11 лет назад

    It's a varial kickflip without using the front foot, so you use your back foot for the pop shove it and the flip.

    So it's an inward heel? Just without using your heel?

    • @erebus38
      @erebus38 10 лет назад +1

      Technically with the way the board spins,yes. You could say that it's more or less like a rear footed inward heelflip. The only difference is that it's a "pressure" based technique where you use both feet to compress both ends of the deck to give it that springy snappiness like the old school method of doing an ollie impossible where you keep your feet on both kicktails with the front half of your foot hanging off the nose so that you can just let it slip off causing the deck to wrap around your foot when you jump. The same sort of basic principles in physics is applied to the pressure flip in it's own unique way,but once you figure them out,it doesn't take long for you to sense just how consistent the pressure flip can really be. It's a little awkward feeling at first,but once you get used to the feel,there's really nothing to this move at all!
