The mic placement for this video gives a ton of the drum set and timpani, which is cool to hear for sure but during the pit moments it’s really hard to hear them. Especially since their book was pretty intense and there’s a lot of great video shots, it’d be nice to hear them a bit more in the mix.
It was unfortunate that that one cymbal lost his cymbal before the cymbal break, still was a bop to listen too! Glad that he recovered and got it back! Will you be posting Chino Hills?
David Keller do you know if liberty is sponsored by Vic, cause if they aren’t then they will never be posted. But also open class is like the middle child of wgi so it’s doubtful they’ll get a ton of attention ever
They sound better in this clip tha they do in their actual show because there is none of the indoor echo that reverberated throughout their regular show and thus, things could be heard more clearly here. Their indoor show exposes one of the problems with indoor marching performances (such is not their fault - but, just saying).
nature boi well there’s a trade off between the two wherein the echo indoor is significantly worse so tuning wet can backfire pretty bad as well, as with anything you gotta find a happy medium
That's the Chino Hills set player from last year I think. It's always cool to see where the high school players end up
Ray23179 Atleast two of their snares are also from Chino Hills
@Samuel Nelson wrong, John and Ian write for Pulse. They aren't directors. Only for Chino Hills.
The timpani were the best part of the show, idc what anyone says
Finally, I’ve been waiting for this for the longest time 👏👏👏👏🤤🤤🤤
So apparently this show is about dignitaries arguing. Can we get Pulse to perform at the next G20 summit?

Logan Jeffrey they already posted them
@@aiden1320 thank you very much!
I’ll never forget the first time I saw 5:52 in the lot at prelims
1:40 cleanest triplet roll ive ever heard
both Chino Hills and Pulse’s battery parts begin with triple stoke on tenors
It's like they have the same people writing their shows
@@Griffin그리핀 of course. i just thought it was particularly amusing.
Bringing the heat as always. 🔥🔥
I saw the chino hills set player, zach, and Elijah!
That cymbal line tho.
Nice.
Epic thumbnail

Is Zach center?
Yea he’s center
Where are the open class videos? I wanna see top 5!
Christian Madsen you’re asking for Vic to pay attention to the middle child. Solid maybe a little bit
Ok the vibraphones are one more octave and I think that’s weird
Zach, watch yo pinky during that solo! lol jk
Charlie Cabello Haha Ya HAD to do me like that!

pizza
Why does snare tubing sound like they’re slapping a wet paper bag?
Just how Mapes tunes. Also, wet sounds are better for indoor ensembles. Doesn't overpower the sound
