Ur not wrong however only blue UV ink is invisible green red yellow orange all have the pigments and can be used in any tattoo with colour to look the same and then under black light it glows

Lol the sleeve cover up thing was a solid joke. Oh and I think Treacle Tatts (who i think would be considered a UK tattoo influncer at this point) did a pretty good anti magic ink video. Shes pretty anti bangbang and gimick tattoos so it was pretty inevitable.
I have an 8 year old finger tattoo that healed better than that ankle tatty.... WILD... I think it is very much like what you said, some people's skin just does NOT age ink well.

@@btwings27to a certain extent, probably, but looking at that girl's skin, it looks like skin I've seen on girls I grew up with. Some people just have it, and it sucks, but it is hard to explain with words-the best way to describe it is just tight, like it has less give or something. It even feels different to the touch.
Got my first tattoo at 16. Classic three dot Mi vida loco. Got my next at 18 back in 89. Now, I’ve got a ton of crappy old tattoos, and many good ones. Each has a story, and every one an interesting time in my 52 years on this planet.

i knew what i wanted in my 20s, 20 yrs later i got it. so yeah, id say no regrets here. i did not rush but i sure waited until i was sure lol. everyone would tell me, you always say you want it but dont do it. well, things like these are better accepted within one’s self when you let it sink in.
$200 for a Medusa? The shop around the corner from me has a $200 minimum. I went to see if they could touch up a small old tattoo. I didn’t use them because i thought it was a bit much for a 10 minute touch up. But i would run if an artist said a detailed tattoo like that Medusa would only cost $200

The way I do it for tattoos I think of getting is making a list of them first. After 3 months I look at the list again and everything that doesn't speak to is thrown off of the list. Repeat after another 3 months (for as long as you want basically) and so far I haven't regret anything. Got my first tattoo 11 years ago :)

This I considered a nice idea. Couple tattoos are some of the last ones I would get, but these were still the best ones I saw.

Tattoos, like most everything else, require research, meeting the artist, and discussing what you want done. Additionally, and most importantly, be prepared to pay. Good work costs money. Disclaimer: I have sleeves (and am planning a back piece) and regret NONE of my ink. ✊🏻🤘🏻
I tried looking this up cuz I recent finished my sleeve. Does anyone’s whites turn like brownish/yellow after the healing process?? The rest of the tattoo looks great but some of the whites are like a brownish tint type of color?!!
You have to consider that once your tattoo is healed you look at the ink through like a layer of your skin.. So whatever color your skin is will slightly "" tint" the white.. At least that's what I think :)

I tattoo mostly fine line black and gray ductwork floral stuff. But I also do a lot of custom illustrative work in that style as well. I went to art school and shit, I can definitely draw better than most. Luckily that style is popular right now and I am booked out until November December of this year. I say that I charge $200 an hour, but I have a hard time actually sticking to that for the full tattoo. I’m also mostly tattooing repeat clients, so I feel some type of loyalty to them. And still with being booked up and charging that much I’m probably averaging $2000 a week and on a really good week I’ll do $2500. That’s not including cash tips. I also give the shop 35% of what I make. So after the shop takes their cut, I am making about 2K a week and I’m working four days a week tattooing but drawing custom pieces on two of my off days. I probably put in 50 hours a week. I’ve been tattooing 10 years, early 40s and I’m a single dad. It’s hard work, I’ve got some early tendinitis signs but I fucking love what I do and I put 110% into it. And when you consistently do that, clients notice, they appreciate it, and they come back. That’s what it’s all about. There’s no secret recipe besides hard work and putting in 100 fucking percent into every fucking Tattoo.
I found out I SCAR EASILY. it sucks. The stats look ok when over but when it’s healed every time it looks scarred. I kinda knew this going in but geez it sucks.

A friend of mine got one of the skeletal hand tattoos about 10 years ago. I thought it looked kind of cool at the time and I don't think I've seen anyone else with one in person aside from her. The flaming forearm tattoo seems to be a much more common piece in the Baltimore area. My wife always talks about matching tattoos, but our tattoo taste doesn't really align well. As for the magic ink folks, do the people that get them have to keep a pocket UV light on you to show them off? I don't get it.

Ha ha ha I’m 65 & my husband is 70 just got an infinity fit our anniversary so when one of us dies we’re not separated. We’re having a splash of watercolour done for my birthday and my shoulder hummingbird (just on 40 years and really not looking bad). Still defined and got reasonable colour but like a funky abstract update. 😁

Having just gotten over an infection that resulted in some nasty blisters (got a new tattoo started and then went camping for 3 days for a wedding like a fuckin idiot), it didn't actually hurt that badly. More of a mental anguish sort of thing than physical, in my case.
Luckily the tattoo itself is healing just fine and should be ready for shading soon.
when it comes to tattoo prices it depends on your connections my shop i go to i get them really cheap and they are dope people always ask my shop and i tell them and they are like oh but they are really expensive lol I'm like maybe for you but thats also because I've been going there for years now and so has my wife almost every single one of mine and hers were done there so we get the good prices last time i was there someone literally was like why his tat that size with more detail cost less than mine lol my tat artist who was already annoyed with the that dude was like because I like him lol but I've brought in multiple people for them off recommendations

I went to a Friday the 13th flash tattoo event. Never had done it before thought it would be fun . I got a super cute Snoopy holding a balloon with the number 13 on the balloon. I loved it so much I decided to go back and have Woodstock added with a balloon that has the number 7 on it …. While he is tattoo he gets a black light out and says “ cool it works “ I said “ what works ?” He had put UV color on the balloon and I had no idea ! So when he did the next balloon he asked what color I wanted and I said blue and he says ok but it doesn’t glow in the dark …. WTF would you do UV and not ask ? And then start to color one that isn’t UV?
I have never just popped in for a tattoo before and probably won’t again !! It’s a great tattoo but I don’t like the not telling me or asking me about the color .

Dude, I'm just a long-time traditional artist trying to learn digital and to learn tattooing, so I have no expertise about tattoos yet, I've made some. ... Choices when younger of doing myself but only 3 and were small. For my important tattoos I absolutely want them perfect coz they mean something to me. I am not young, but am only now starting to get those I've planned for 15yrs +,
I totally got off the point. That one line drawing reminded me of when I found some of my older sketchbooks, and showed my Mom a similar thing I drew, meant to be someone hugging dogs, she started laughing and said "it looks like someone bent over and the other about to put their hand in the person's ass." And I laughed. Coz she was so very right.
I dont like tattoos but i dont have a problem with them, but it always bugs me when people get new tattoos like they're buying a new t-shirt. They dont respect the permanency of them and end up getting something unbelievably stupid on a whim.
Fax about young people getting tatted out with cheap designs. Remember you have a whole life in front of you. Treat yourself with a tattoo maybe every 1-2 years. Bonus is that that method will mark different periods in your life, where you were at.

You know what else produces UV light? The sun. This product would only be useful for people that literally never go outside. You might activate the ink to the intensity your want, but by the time you walk back to your car, it'll be even darker. Good luck living indoors for the rest of your life 👍
EDIT: Also, as someone with multiple engineering degrees, "smart materials" are ALWAYS underwhelming in person. Any material that reacts to its environment in a unique way is considered a "smart material", and they are notorious for breaking. (Tatooing aside) you get thermal inks and pigments that break if they spend too long outside of their confortable range, which is usually around -10 to 40 degrees C for most inks, meaning that a the ink will "lock" if they go outside of that range. Same goes for UV reactive pigments, but with UV intensity. It's the same with "glow in the dark" (phosphorescent materials) and how too much time without light, or light that's too bright will completely kill the effect.
TLDR: DON'T TATOO YOURSELF WITH SMART MATERIALS. Fluorescent materials are fine, because they aren't actually smart materials. They are just reflecting UV wave lengths. A lot of proteins in nature do the same thing and don't degrade over time. Scorpions, for example, glow REALLY brightly under blacklights. Take one with you if you go to the desert...

Too stand out now and look like a badass, dont get any tattoos! Way back in the day, it was cool and to get a tat. Now every nerd working at Starbucks is all sleeved up. 30 year old tellers at banks reveal their neck and finger tattoos. You even have a lot of people with face ink looking like total freaks and expect to be treated normal in society. Tattoos are no longer cool and a sign of rebelliousness. They're standard issue. Now, the artform is still pretty killer and there are some incredible artists doing amazing work, but it's so diluted now. Any fool could walk into a tattoo parlor and walk out with some badass ink. Before, say prior to 1995, you had do something or be someone to earn that tattoo.

Literally knew one of them was going to say infinity symbol. I hate them so much. It’s just a dumb tattoo. It’s so basic and takes zero thought or creative effort. And yes I have some basic ass tattoos, but they look amazing. You can’t make an infinity symbol look amazing, I don’t care if you’re the best tattooer on the planet.

I have a satanic ritual on my calf with baphonet growing out of a cauldron with smoke and satanic name symbols. The eyes of baphomet and the goats preforming the ritual all half glow in the dark ink made by the native American artist himself from flowers and beetles. This was done 25 years ago, all ink made from scratch and with flowers/insects/ashes and the whole thing is vibrant still, the glow is still there, the blacklist lights up my leg still after 2 decades. It's a full calf tattoo and was my first tattoo, took 12 hours, had no stencil, and I rebuilt his truck to pay for the work. Just sharing an experience with glowing ink that was positive. On the flipside tho, I have friends who have black light ink and it's trash, either bled itself out or never worked to begin with. Indigenous people have the secret. Lol
