I just saw that Sky News in the UK also broadcasted this news. A British guest asked the host: China has gained a certain advantage in the moon landing competition with the United States. Will they use the moon as a colony next? This is very sour, very malicious, and also very interesting. A typical British person, in history, would turn a place into a colony every time they went, believing that the Chinese must have the same idea. I can understand why they think so from different perspectives. Dogs must also be confused when they see human behavior: why don't people with these two legs smell each other's buttocks when they meet like what we do?😂😂

The implications not known to many in this event: the Global South has long seeked technology-partner to uplift their countries, and the West has been traditionally the ONLY partner, who usually imposes certain requirements (LGBT rights, free market, etc.) before they give (some) tech to the Global South. But now, China is clearly another option, a good alternative, with no-string attached, with more patience, and more tolerance. For example, Chinese medias never criticize Africa's corruption: China and the involved countries work silently behind the scene to solve the corruption issue.

There's more to it! If China can dramatically transform itself in merely, so can other developing countries. While China did get help from developed countries, she also faced and is increasingly facing many hurdles imposed by the same players. Developing countries can follow her model, and cooperate with and get help from her on almost everything.

I don't like the ranking of space exploration by various people. Cameron Hunt hesitated for a brief moment, and decided that "China is the SECOND rank". Ranking is moot because China is not into huffing and puffing, like that Bill Nelson guy who had many photo ops in front of the "Biggest, tallest and most powerful" rocket namely the Artemis. Well, it took three goes, and three delays to finally lift off.
If USA manages to finally bring back the two stranded astronauts back from the ISS, then it just might be the #1. once again. It is your turn to shine, Bill Nelson ! By the way, is it necesary for Katrina Yu to repeat the same line that "China would have Diplomatic, military and economic" interest in the missions. The last I checked, USA is no different.
