Any hunter who is honorable and respects the animal pursued would never shoot at a 2nd buck until he knows he missed the 1st buck in a 1 buck state.

He knew he didn’t miss the first buck. He took both shots… and the second shot was the worst shot u can possibly take.
It’s astound how many of these internet and tv “hunters” are just poachers with cameras and a crew.
If you think, that’s funny, you should research how all the fishing videos are made commercially, several of them they have them in nets or a Livewell even for fish in the ocean and they will literally hook it by hand and throw it in
So if you shoot at 2 bucks for whatever reason, then find out you killed both, the first thing you do is contact your states DNR or whatever their conservation organization is, then contact the land owner. Accidents happen, just report and explain, then you never have to worry about it coming back and biting you in the butt.

It should be criminal to reduce y’all to 1 buck 2 I can see but 1 is ridiculous it ain’t all about antlers but yeah I can agree he knew what he was doing but I can honestly say it’s not like he went and killed it at night or on someone else’s land atleast he had permission
1antlered and 2 anterless! Now you can, if you find a reduction zone can earn a buck tag by downing 9 does before you can take your buck. This year I haven't had much luck going out. Alot of the public land was butchered during firearm season. I'm typically a bow hunter but fell late in the season this year.
In a buch of states they have what you call party hunting so if anyone in the party has a buck tag we all of the party can kill 1 more buck his so called friend tagged the buck if he would have just called the game warden its 125 dollar fine and you keep the deer just so all know The State of Indiana did not charge him that the only way it could possibly be able to be a lacy charge if you bring illegal buck across state lines but the buck was not illegal . So him pleading guilty was a gift to the courts cancel. Is culture

Now did you have a tag for them ( provable) was it a farm hunt ( provable) was it just plain dumb to shoot multiple deer on the same sit and try to direct the camera man to split it up as you were hunting... I have less of a problem with what he did than I do with the way he treated his camera men he would berate them over and over again it is on film. I was a huge fan of his until I saw that he can kick rocks. Michael Waddell, working class now hunter and red arrow are the only hunting personalities worth watching

I hate poachers. He is pissed that the kid turned him in after being fired. This is a dishonorable pperson. He states that he thought the producer was his best friend but not now after turning him in. Now he wanted his friend not to turn him in just like his exbest friend did not want to be fired.

Poaching is ridiculous. However if youre killing deer to feed the family...idc. growing up things got rough when our farm went under and my pops may or may not have killed a deer or two out of season to feed our family. As an adult, if things ever got that tough ill drive out behind my house and kill a deer every week if i have to feed my family. Poaching is killing for a trophy or killing just to leave it lay. I know people from my little podunk town that have killed a June-july deer when times got rough. I aint mad at them.

I bet this happened on the last day of the hunt! Last day and the 8 point walks out, so he thinks this is his last chance to fill his tag so he shot the 8 point, and a minute later he sees his target buck, the unicorn so he shoots it as well, and later claims, it was an accident he thought he was taking a second shot at the same deer?
His best friend trusted him so much (sarcasm) that he saved an incriminating video of him for just in case ?

I’m not sure what his point is here? You’re hunting in a one buck state where you shoot at a buck and believe you hit it. Before you check for a kill you see another buck and shoot it. This guy is not an ethical hunter. He is trying to make it sound like he is a victim and the camera man who reported him is the bad guy. What a corrupt sense of morality this guy has.

I 100% believe this man. Years ago, while hunting one evening alone I saw a cow moose on a hill so I shot her at witching hour, bang, thwack & I assumed down.
But when my eyes cleared from the flash, it was still there so bang….thwack & same deal but this time it was running away to the left so
I shot again, bang…thwack but then finally it went down. So I drove into the field with my Chevy Blazer & found 3 dead moose. DAM , omg what have I done! Luckily my employee & wife had tags also so we used them but……I haven’t moose hunted since. That was many years ago but I figured Id gotten my share so have taken many yrs off. Turns out there’re was a hill & the second & third moose came up from far side to see what was going on & I thought it was the same moose. Totally innocent honestly. Be careful out there fellow hunters it can happen to anyone.

You should take time off like the rest of your time off. That’s absurd. Call me an idiot but if I think I made a hood clean shot and I see another whatever moose deer bear standing there I’m not just going to rip offf another shot. I’d at least investigate to see. I also doubt that the other moose immediately appeared. Like a knock down target a new one pops up. I think that may be an added detail to make you feel better about your blunder. It’s good that the tags were there to be filled but not quite the right way to fill them but it’s no harm no foul.
