Sounds like a bunch of jealous officers ganged up on some hunters. Seriously they shot the deer with a gun. No different than every other deer that got shot with a gun. The rest is just details to get hunters in trouble.
The only problem I have is this happens every day during season, problem is there are 100s of bucks taken illegally most are our up and comers like 2 yo 3 yo bucks up to huge bucks but the only ones they investigate are the monster bucks or what we call good size or big bucks , even taken legally we have had trouble including myself for consistently taking big bucks but they only care about the bigger ones they never investigate these smaller up and comers harvested illegally. Need to go after what they can and I understand they can’t catch everyone but should go after even if it’s a spike harvested illegally but it doesn’t draw attention so let it be!!, soon as a giant hits the ground even legally they confiscate until proven innocent. Had it happen to myself and had to prove my innocence and retrieve my own rack and never got my meat back !!
Now I’m not saying all don’t try and are great guys but some just have something to prove and the one that gave me such heck over a jealous (friend) 😂 no longer works in field! Funny
I just don't understand that other reply but they do investigate all the ones that is turned in but the biggest bucks that are taking illegally are a little more interesting don't you think because it's a shame that a road hunter can't go into the woods and kill a deer. Or some people just don't know how to hunt
Like the dnr officer said in the video, the more points they have the more the deer is worth. With that being said they're only chasing the money. They don't really care about the deer.
@@Tryingyourbestatwhateveryoudo of course bigger bucks are going to draw more attention and therefore get the attention but I just wish more of the poaching could be stopped then just when we hear or see a giant hit the ground !! Obviously the buck had lived around people so was well known but hadnt been taken legally so I gotta assume anyone capable didn't want to. He surely passed on some great genes and would have continued. Just a lose , lose situation for all. I wonder what it cost the poacher monetary and loss of property. SMH.
God creates deer to be hunted by man for food! Hunter shoots deer, then gets fined $18,000 for hunting deer God created! Something really wrong with this picture! A simple $50 fine would've been more than sufficient
He shot it from a truck with a rifle at night. Thats poaching. I think people would care less if he shot it with a bow during the day. Or at least not in a truck with a rifle at night. Thats not hunting. My freezer is full of deer meat that I went out on the public land and scrapped for and every year I fill my freezer up and I put deer on my wall with antlers. It’s such a sickening thing when people go kill deer out of a truck window with a rifle because they are enamored with the size of the horns. A small basket rack is worth more mounted on my wall than a deer that I shot out of a truck window at night.
@@justinadams159 yea that’s no bueno but I’ll be honest if you gotta poach just because you love the rack that’s fucked up you shouldn’t be allowed to hunt ever again
They probably won't be hunting again, I noticed the DNR stated there was a busy road in line with the shot, that most likely added to the felony where they won't be able to purchase a gun and that's why he stated about the road and heavy traffic, these 3 lost more than they will ever get back and rightfully earned, I raised my children to go out and hunt and not be a lazy POS road hunter, I despise road hunting there is no sport in it, if one was starving that's a different story but no one has ran into that issue yet. Adding the value to the deer is bs I think, after all they got the truck there gun and original fines that should've been enough. DNR knows exactly who poaches and what's taken, law enforcement/DNR have so many drones doing surveillance it's impossible to get away with anything anymore, not saying I would try. People really need to wake up on technology were paying for and there using against us. They will never admit the surveillance abilities they have = positive/ negative
But one hell of a deer, to bad it wasn't taken with respect to the animal It would've been one to be proud of for years instead of keeping the lie straight for years.
I grew up extremely broke not because my dad was lazy he busted his ass everyday but because my aunts and uncles weren't shit and cared more about dope and my dad end up having to take in all their kids all the time while they disappeared about 7 extra mouths and living on the Texas coast we ate a lot of fish alligator hogs and deer all poached from where ever dad could find it and that's how we never went hungry unless Mr game Warden decided to butt in besides that my grandma told me it's just plain wrong for the government to charge for a god given right to hunt and fish and live how we see fit and anyone who bows down before something so foul aint got a backbone

It's sickening to hear him drool over a poached deer like this.
CJ Alexander's chickenwing story going to be on another episode before long.
Agreed 😎👍
The ole Fish Police!
Your mom is fishy
Fish fuzz.
@@edmelungeon2239 ha ha yes!
Ill trespass a commercial property anyday.
The warden needs to take a course in public speaking. He’s terrible at it! Essentially!
That’s not very kind or respectful. I would hate to see the first time I was on camera. Thankfully not many people saw it unlike this video. I am sure you have things you can work on just like we all do. It would have been fine for you to just keep on scrolling without the comment. I appreciate you watching the video, but there is too much negativity in the world already for this.
Yeah essentially
@@reviveoutdoors4him I was a law enforcement officer for 10 years. I've been on camera and I'd never allow myself to be broadcasted having portrayed myself nor my agency in such a poor light! The negativity in this world is brought on by individuals such as these. Learn to cast yourself in a positive light and you'll be treated as such!
...essentially...drink!
It’s a shame all the crimes done by men of power and politicians commit and nothing is ever done it’s just an animal
Inches is “ feet is ‘
Typo!
The giants almost always have a sketchy story
Seems that way these days. It’s unfortunate
Good job guys
Thanks Chris!
Thank you for your input ! Also understand there are limited resources to catch everyone just seems only ones I hear around my home are the bigger ones even harvested legitimately they seize them until proven innocent.
@@zachshefelbine2299 yep !! Sort of proved my point that they chase the giants and poachers get off on a lot and yes limited resources they can’t catch em all but folks around here doing all year every year and walk freely but let a giant go down legally and they come knocking until you prove other wise.
What a BUCK! I can only dream of seeing something of his size, much less getting a LEGAL shot at one.
He loves the word Essentially lol smh
$15,000 in restitution. Meanwhile i have coworkers paying more than that to hunt high fence.
But they get to keep their deer 🤣
@reviveoutdoors4him it's like a role of the dice ya know. Plus these guys are a perfect example of what not to do if one was inclined to do something like this.
Well if. I had that kind of money I woulden care
Game wardens r bigger crooks .
I would like to think it's not true, but you are correct. I wonder what the follow up was on the wardens in wv/or nc that wrongfully took they hunters two deer.
For real! Why TF do game wardens have a both with mounts?!!!
Not always! I have wardens cut me a break when I accidentally broke a law involving a deer, i was ignorant and he was kind enough to educate me about my violation and send on my way with nothing but a warning because i was fully truthful
Have you ever considered that you might just be a piece of shit?
Essential worker 😂😂
230" not 230' lol
Your the first person to comment about it! Lol
I ran into a guy who showed me pictures of some monster deer he has taken illegally. He's almost been caught several times. All taken with a bow.
😮
Glad they caught those pos
Man I saw this deer the day he was killed while I was at work
@@jakobturner6413 he was a giant! That would have been cool to see him in person then minus the poaching that took place of course
Would be nice to know if anybody actually aged this deer. I don't know who those three guys were but they had to be young and dumb as the saying goes.
@@ForgottenHillbilly it would be nice to know for sure! Thanks for watching!
What a shame someone very selfish decided to shoot this buck illegally. Obviously the buck had lived around people so was well known but hadnt been taken legally so I gotta assume anyone capable didn't want to. He surely passed on some great genes and would have continued. Just a lose , lose situation for all. I wonder what it cost the poacher monetary and loss of property.
SMH.
Essentially they were caught
Essentially 😂
Well essentially…
If you’re going to poach a deer don’t shoot the biggest one in the state
He discovered that they need that head it's a big pay day
Ok. We get the “essentially” part over and over. Even where is doesn’t belong grammatically!🤦🏻♂️
God creates deer to be hunted by man for food! Hunter shoots deer, then gets fined $18,000 for hunting deer God created! Something really wrong with this picture! A simple $50 fine would've been more than sufficient
Best way to do it is not to get caught. They're not hard to outsmart.
Only poached cause the government says
It’s one thing if you poach off season another during season
Haters ?
I Cant stand game wardens
Why is that?
@@jackiedye8135 thank you for sharing your perspective!
So because your family were degenerates, there shouldn't be any rules and we should go back to the days of old that decimated populations?
@jackiedye8135 it's different when your poaching in town for antlers.not illegal traps set in a swamp for dinner.
