  • Well just in time before going to the track in Florida! These have always been some of my favorite wheels for the V4 and I cannot wait to really see what the bike looks like with them on. I intentionally left them off just for now so I can test the base wheels first and THEN throw on the Mags so I can really appreciate the difference. I've got the same tires on both the stock wheels and the Mags is its 100 percent apples to apples. Watch the video to find out how much weight these things save over the base V4 wheels and look out for more videos in a couple weeks of this bike ripping it at the track!

Mine finally came in and added the dunlop Q3 + tires to them. However, I took mine to the dealership to install them. Looks good.

Very cool man, I'm also a fan of black wheels, but they look 🔥 makes a nice change from all the carbon ones we're seeing lately 👍are you changing disc's before reffiting? 👌🔥🦆

Yeah I’m honestly not a huge fan of carbon wheels or exposed carbon in general. I’ve always loved the look of magnesium wheels can’t help it!

9 spoke Marchisini are crazy expensive 👌, I’m curious what kind wheels and what will you do with V2 😅

hi sir does the magnesium wheels are much lighter than the forged or aluminum wheels and much reliable in when running in pot holes

I know the bike will pull way better for sure, especially if you install lighter chain and side lighter sprocket

I got lucky. I have the superlaggera carbon wheels on my Ducati

I would choose marchisini any day over carbon wheels, much safer and not a lot difference between carbon and marchisini in weight, nice choice 👍🏻

the oz gass wheels are much stronger and weigh less, 6lb for rear ,5lb for front. he would of saved another over 2 lbs and had a much stronger wheel than the magnesium wheels

@@mylifeinnewyork5625 it all depends on price he already cut so much weight even with marchesini wheels, and I believe he said that he got them for a good price discount

@@Atlan_tis a good price discount on those wheels is 4k because they are from Ducati! and def not as strong as forged aluminum. there is a reason why superbike teams choose forged aluminum over every other metals and carbon. they are the number one choice for race teams around the world!

I’m not sure why you think they are safer than carbon wheels. Also, the static weight is not the most important part of carbon wheels - it’s the rotational mass that is significantly altered with carbon wheels as the rims are exceptionally light and most of the weight is in the hub. They have a tremendous impact on the feel of the bike. Having said that, I’ve taken the carbon Superleggera wheels off my SP2 and use the DP M9RS for track use due to cost and lead times to replace the carbon wheels if they get damaged. The forged aluminium Marchesini wheels that come on a V4S are actually lighter than the M10RS magnesium wheels, which I found quite impressive. The pair of M9RS magnesium wheels are, if my memory can be trusted, 5.3kg - astonishingly light and stunning wheels. I’m really happy with them.

@@mylifeinnewyork5625 You might want to check that info - I think you’ll find most use forged magnesium these days. I can’t imagine why a well-funded WSBK team would choose heavier wheels than they need to.

the oz racing gass wheels forged aluminum which are much stronger than the magnesium wheels the rear weigh 6lbs for rear 5 lbs for front and cost around 3500.00. I have them on my bike. I choose these wheels for the durability or i would of went carbon, but carbon wheels in NYC would be broken in a week.
